It's been about three weeks since my first appointment with Valentyna at J Salon, and I felt compelled to come back and share an update. I genuinely cannot believe the growth and health of my nails in such a short time. I have never seen my natural nails this long or this strong, especially considering my history with nail biting and cuticle picking. And this transformation started after just one session with her! I went back for my second appointment, and the experience was just as exceptional. Valentyna put the same level of time, care, and intention into my manicure as she did the first. You can truly see it in the quality of her work, everything looks incredibly clean, polished, and thoughtfully done. Beyond the physical results, the impact she's had on my confidence is something I honestly struggle to put into words. I feel so much more comfortable and proud of my hands (sounds silly, but most women know!), which is something I never thought I'd say. I am beyond grateful to be Valentyna's client and feel so lucky to have found her. If you're on the fence, especially if you've ever felt self-conscious about your nails, I cannot recommend her enough.

J Salon provides the best, most top tier manicures I have ever received from any salon. I travel from the Chicago suburbs into the city every 4 to 5 weeks to get my nails done and it is worth it every single time! Taya is my manicurist and she is incredible! She is not only kind and friendly but also extremely talented at what she does. My nails come out perfect every single visit. J Salon also provides an experience that stands out from most salons I have been to. The space is very clean, the attention to detail is exceptional, and the customer service is wonderful! They offer everyone a drink after checking in and even hang up your coat during your appointment. I am so happy that I have found my forever nail salon at J Salon!

J Salon never disappoints. I had a wonderful experience with Dasha who did a gel Mani Pedi. I'm absolutely obsessed with the colors and the customer service. As soon as you walk in, you're welcomed by a very kind check in person at the check-in desk and then they offer you a beverage while you wait in the seated area. Every time I come, they're always adding new and better equipment. The services are incredibly clean, and relaxing. Try this place once and it's hard to ever go anywhere else!

If you're looking for the best nail salon in the West Loop, J Salon is truly unmatched. I've been getting my nails done monthly for over 15 years, and this is by far the best salon I've ever been to and the healthiest my nails have ever been. The nail and cuticle work is absolutely amazing and incredibly precise. They take their time and pay attention to every tiny detail, and it shows. My nails have never looked better or felt better. They are the strongest they've ever been, and the results are always flawless and long-lasting. I consistently get 4+ weeks of wear with zero chips or lifting, which still amazes me. Every nail tech here is highly skilled, creative, patient, and truly passionate about what they do. They're happy to give ideas if you're unsure, but can also flawlessly recreate any inspiration photo you bring in. The talent level across the board is incredible. Some of my personal favorites are Taya, Mary, Tori, and Nilyusha, but honestly you can't go wrong with any technician every single one is amazing and highly talented. Beyond the quality of the work, the entire salon is warm and professional. You feel welcomed, cared for, and completely confident you're in expert hands. I have been going to J Salon for the past 3 years and there's a reason why I keep going back - their work is impeccable! I always leave admiring my nails, and because I get the strengthening manicure, my nails always last me 5+ weeks. Their prices are higher than other places I've seen but it truly reflects the work of the service and lifetime of the manicure. Their salon is always welcoming and everything is so clean. First Russian manicure experience and it lasted well beyond 3 weeks, which is unheard of for me. The salon is by appointment only and very busy, but I did not feel rushed at all. I've been coming to J salon for a little over 3 years now and they have never disappointed! The updates they've been making over the past year have made it even greater (didn't even think it was possible). Upon entering, you're kindly greeted and offered an array of refreshment options. Once seated, each station is equipped with a bag holder and phone stand which makes for seamless use of your phone during your service. There're also TV's that each play something different so there's something for everyone. I've also never been to a salon that paid such great attention to cleanliness, especially with all the foot traffic they have you can tell sterilization is at the top of their priorities. I've seen most of the techs and they're all great. An honorable mention though is Mariia who pays wonderful attention to detail which allows for great longevity. I'm able to come in every 4-5 weeks and even then my nails are still going strong. I've also never had a Russian pedicure prior to coming to J Salon and it's safe to say I'll never be going back to regular ones. Overall, if you're looking for great quality, a relaxing vibe, and to walk out with a smile on your face, this is the place to go! read more

From the moment you walk in, they offer you a drink and get you seated with your nail tech right away, which sets the tone for a great experience. Even a basic color takes an hour or more because of how detailed and thorough the service is. I've recommended this place to at least five people, and they are all regulars now too. Every top technician I've worked with has been amazing, and if you want a specific design, you can always ask ahead of time to make sure the right tech is available. But why would I do that when the authentic Gel-X brand has short, medium, and longer extensions. Once she got to polish, after doing one coat she told me they were out of the product and she only had enough to finish another coat for my nails not for me pedicure. She said I would need to find another color and said they dont buy that brand very often because they cant get it from a supply store but must order it directly from the manufacturer. I just said no thank you, I will just finish up with my nails. I am so disappointed with this salon and their management. Terribly unethical to claim you are using a specific product and technique but to use something else. I will never return.
