My friends and I drove out to try this place for girl's day. Note that's it's kindof in a weird spot of Milpitas, but not far from the main drag. I ordered from the BOGO deal (advertised on IG) the Grilled Lemongrass Chicken Hainan Rice and a Mango Pudding for $20.31 including tip. The food came out hot on a skillet. The rice was alright but the chicken was tender and flavorful. I was unable to enjoy the chicken broth as it came with [way too much] cilantro, to the point where it looked like a dipping sauce and not a soup. I'd come back if I were in the area and there was another deal! Service is good. The shop is not very big, but it works. It's connected to the Thaibodia next door.
Easy ordering system at the kiosk, mostly a self-service establishment. The dry noodles with pork were amazing! Meat was cooked perfectly, and the noodles were super flavorful. They also have chili oil and paste on the side that you can add to taste. The entree prices were also very reasonable, especially for the portion size. Will be back to try other dishes next time. Also like how they're open past 9pm!
I stopped into INTL Kitchen for a late dinner. The parking lot is small to support both ThaiBodia and INTL Kitchen, so finding a spot could be challenging. Both restaurants are connected to one another. Modern interior with simple decor. Two unisex restrooms. They have inside and outside seating options. Order via kiosks. Self-serve plates, untensils, takeout containers. AppeTea from Bon Appetit They have some Summer promos going on that I'll have to check out next time. Grilled Lemon Grass Chicken with rice. Both sauces that came with the meal were delicious and savory! If you are looking for Hainan Chicken, THIS IS NOT IT. But, a good Asian-fusion alternative. Support your local business.
I was looking for a new-ish spot to take my parents out to lunch and this place was a hit! It's located in the heart of Milpitas, next to Thaibodia, and opened for about half a year now. It almost feels like a "hole in the wall" spot if you don't venture to this area often. Everything is pretty much self-served, from ordering via kiosk to getting your own utensils, sauces, and water. They bring the food out to your table and the portions are generous and more than enough to share as family style. We ordered Lort cha with chicken, grilled lemongrass chicken Hainan rice, and mild papaya salad. Lort cha is mini udon-like noodles pan fried; very flavorful. Papaya salad had the perfect tanginess, crunch, and not too spicy. We especially love the Hainan chicken plate because everything was perfectly seasoned and the chicken had a nice, crispy texture on the outside while still tender on the inside. The dipping sauces that came with the plate complimented the dish well. Honestly, you can most definitely eat this dish as is and it'll still be good. The mango pudding was not too sweet and you could taste actual yellow mangos! They're currently offering specials for dining in and takeouts, but be sure to read carefully on what the combos entail! Ask the staff or owner if you are unsure. They are very friendly and nice. We will come back and try other dishes on the menu. :)
Found this gem from a random social media browsing. They did everything! They market themselves on Instagram, they have a loyalty reward program, they give out discounts, and they keep their overhead low. This place deserves a chance! They mostly service Cambodian noodle or rice dishes and some curry roti pizza. They are now running a BOGO promotion: 2 items such as a noodle dish and a roti is only $18.99. Such a good deal. I chose a dry Phnom Penh egg noodle, and a roti pizza. For roti, it's actually a mini size pizza; and again, so many choices. You can even do build your own, which I picked HK BBQ sauce with chicken. This combo comes with chicken soup. All that food, freshly made! I waited maybe about 15-20 minutes. The staff even came out to confirm with me on my roti choice because the sauce contains peanuts. The place is simple and inside there are 2 ordering kiosks and lots of pizza boxes next to the kitchen. This is like a fast food setup, but the quality of the food is great if you don't mind it being slightly too salty, esp the chicken broth. The noodle has grilled chunks of chicken meat. The roti pizza has cheese, big chunks of sausage meat on top, the bottom is crispy. You can dine in or sit outside to eat. They also have their own parking lot. I think I'll be back for more of their other dishes.
INTL kitchen is such a fun and delicious spot to enjoy with friends. The food is extremely flavorful with wide variety. The chicken wings with fries was our favorite! All the desserts and drinks were refreshing. The staff was friendly and helpful, ready with recommendations! I would highly recommend! 4.5 but I'm rounding up for value The specials are really what makes this spot so special. These days you really cant get an entree for basically $10-13. But honestly the food is good as well so at that price point can't really recommend here and thaibodia enough. It's def my go-to when I want some Thai/Cambodian takeout. Food: Roti Pizza- loved both the yellow curry and green curry pizzas but liked the green just a lil bit more. It's a must try. Dry rub prawns- so good. They make it perfectly crispy. It comes with quite a bit of shrimp and they aren't the small sized ones either. They were at least medium sized slightly smaller than tiger prawns. Flavors were also on point. It comes with fries and the whole thing is stir fried. Def recommend Hainan chicken- I think they use thigh cause the chicken was really tender. It also had a grill taste which I like. Rice was great as well. Def recommend. Kathiew Cha Noodles- par for the course. Tastes like a pad see ew Phnom Penh Dry Noodles (Egg Noodles)- solid noodle dish but nothing super special Yellow Curry Noodle Soup- comes with so much chicken. The curry was pretty good too. I generally liked this dish. Namya Noodle Soup- was made well and tasted automatic but ultimately not my cup of tea even tho I'm glad I tried it. It's a bit too fishy for me where I enjoyed it at first but i kinda got tired of it the more I ate but that's me Num Banh Chok Noodle Soup- slightly different flavor but same thoughts as the noodle above Overall def recommend you try the dry rub, Hainan chicken, and the roti pizzas. You really can't go wrong though
It's open fairly late (by Bay Area standards) until 11 PM, so after arriving at the San Jose airport in the later evening, my boyfriend and I went here for a late night dinner. They have daily specials and BOGO deals I believe, as well as a decent menu of boba and tea drinks too. Although they were getting ready to wind down for the night, like 3 other parties came in afterwards and I think they were still taking orders even close to closing, just for to go only. Keen work ethic right there. All ordering is done through a touch screen kiosk and it's also self serve for sauces, utensils, and to go packaging. For our late night dinner, we got the: 1) Thai Iced Green Tea: -Pretty sweet, even with adjustments. I'd mix this with milk or let the ice melt to reduce the sweetness, but the flavor is nice despite this. If you like sweet Green Thai tea this is perfect. I'd skip on a different visit. 2) Lort Cha Noodles: -Loved this noodle dish. I really like the chewy texture and shape of the rice pin noodles. Absorbed the spicy savory house sauce quite nicely. Went deliciously well with the stir fried eggs and veggies. You get a choice of protein for this dish, but it was so good, I can do even without it. -Depending on the spice level you choose, it can give you a harsh kick in the mouth. Delicious. 3) Build Your Own Roti Pizza: -Personal sized pizza that's shareable between a couple people. -The base of the pizza is crispy Roti which is nice. -For this pizza, I made it with Jue Jue Sauce (since I never heard of it before), Pork and Hot Link Sausage. -It also comes with king mushroom, red and green bell pepper, and yellow onion by default but you can always opt out of these toppings. -I guess Jue Jue sauce is a Cantonese sauce (truly and Asian fusion restaurant) that has a hot and smoky flavor, which it did, but it also made this pizza a bit too sweet for our tastes. I'd change up the sauce for next time. 4) Grilled Chicken Hainan Rice: -Comes out on a super hot sizzling plate, so make sure not to burn yourself or burn others (bf did this to me much to my chagrin). -You can get different version of this dish with the chicken grilled with lemon grass or ginger, which is nice. -The dish comes with cucumber, chicken broth, pickled veggies and some sauce. Generous portion of chicken. Both the chicken and the rice was a tad dry, but super flavorful nonetheless and nothing the sauce and broth didn't help with. -A decent Hainan chicken. Doesn't beat out the places that specialize in this dish (has it in their name or solely only make this dish), but better than other restaurants that offer Hainan chicken in their smattering of a menu. Overall, not bad and we had lots of leftovers to take home afterwards too. I'd come back to try more of their menu. P.S. I really like that for the menu art of their Hainan chicken rice dishes, they made a smiley face with the carrot and onions. Super cute.
I have been getting emails from here about the 3 item for $39 deal or bogo deals. Not sure how I got it but I finally decided to check this place out I had always thought this place was thaibodia. But it is not. They are just neighbors. This street is now home to some hidden gems of Milpitas. There is the sandwich place. The Himalayan place and now this spot. It's becoming like the silk road of foods. Anyways. I got the roti curry pizza, hainan chicken and fried tilapia as the 3 choices. A great deal The pizza is essentially a small pizza. So freaking good. Never thought it would actually be loaded like a pizza. I like roti by itself but using it as the dough actually works. I love this pizza. I like it more than regular pizza now. This roti curry pizza is a home run The hainan chicken was good. Nothing out of ordinary but it was definitely delicious and portions was pretty healthy. Lastly, the whole fried fish was ok. it's a damn whole fish. With this dish it's mainly about the 2 sauces. I like it with the sweet fish sauce. Might also go well with some soy sauce. Awesome deal. I'm definitely coming back to do the bogo. Which is roti pizza with a dry rub wings.
This is one of the many restaurants on South Main Street that I finally got to try. It's in a small plaza shared with another restaurant. We came in and were welcomed by the staff. There are two kiosks to place your order and a large menu with pictures as well. They offer deals monthly and the September deal just happened to be extended. One of the deal was a sizzling plate and roti pizza for $19.99. This was a great deal and plenty of food for two people. The serving portions were plenty. The utensils, sauces, and take out containers were located to the side. This is handy, as we didn't need to ask for them during our meal. We can easily grab and pack our leftovers. I got the pork sizzling plate with the chicken rice and yellow curry pizza. The Thai tea was watered down which was surprising since the color didn't seem like it. The chicken rice was flavorful and the pork pieces were plenty. A soup came with the meal which was nice as it was chilly that day. The yellow curry roti pizza had a crispy bottom and the toppings were plenty. I air fried my leftovers and the crispy top and bottom was perfect.
I first heard about this place from a random video on TikTok so I bookmarked this place to try. I ordered the yellow curry pizza, fries entree, grilled chicken entree, and two drinks. It's been a few weeks so I remember exactly, but I do remember everything was pretty tasty. They didn't put any utensils or napkins. I think every place should put utensils and napkins for takeout orders or at least ask the customer if they want any. When I got there, I had to wait for a little bit before anyone came to help me. The place seemed clean and modern with good amount of seating. They have a parking lot so easy to find parking. 3.5 stars
3.75 rating. This quick and casual, no frills restaurant seems to follow the same system many new ones do: order at kiosk, grab table, get utensils, sit and wait. Food will come quickly. If you're on a lunch break or in a hurry for dinner, this place is perfect. Both the hubby and I chose the grilled Hainanese chicken (which I didn't even know was a thing. I'm used to the poached variation). His was lemongrass, mine was garlic. Both good. After doing some research, seems the restaurant uses the "grilled-to-char" method. You will definitely taste the char. Solid meal.
Came by the other day to try this spot out. The only reason I came was to try their Phnom Penh noodles. And it was a big disappointment. They give you a lot of noodles but for some reason it was extremely difficult to eat and lack flavor. The broth was also not good. The wings that came with fries looked good but some of the pieces were burnt and the fries tasted like it been back in the fryer a few times and was cold. The lort cha was good ! Service here is minimal as they only bring the food to you. You order from counter and get utensils and water yourself. Other than that I will be back in the future once they get everything better. Final Thoughts: 4.50/5.00 New Asian fusion restaurant that just opened up in the Milpitas area. They really do sell a variety of different foods that combine various cultures. I'm all for the fusion, so my friends and I officially decided to try this place as we were in the area today. Overall, I do think this is deserving of a 5 star for me today. Food: Signature Dry Rub Wings, Garlic Parmesan Flavor: 3.8/5 This is their fried chicken with their garlic parmesan dry rub on top served with fries, yellow onions, red onions, and jalapenos. They do have a few other flavors for you to choose from (most containing a garlic flavor base) and spice level. They are really not skimping on their flavoring and rub for this plate. The chicken came out piping hot. The fries were super crispy and I would compare it to the "well-done fries" at In-n-Out. The addition of the different onions are good with adding some of that sweetness. Of note, there is *a lot* of parmesan on this plate. Typically, I would never complain about having more, but the flavor of parmesan is very sharp, so it was a little too overpowering for my taste. Some people will love the cheese, so it's perhaps just a preference. I brushed some of it off before eating and it was chef's kiss. Grilled Garlic Chicken Hainan Rice: 4.5/5 This is their grilled garlic chicken served with fragrant chicken rice, cucumber soup, pickled veggies, and house sauce. Seems most simple, but was definitely my favorite dish of the three items that we got today. The chicken is super tender and very flavorful. The rice has a beautiful color to it and a light flavor too it. Perhaps there's a variety of different spices to it, but it reminds me of saffron rice. Not too salty or seasoned. The flavor of the chicken is actually quite light, but seasoned very well. The garlic isn't overpowering the whole dish, so I really liked how it turned out. Chicken pieces in the dish were nicely charred, so it has that smokiness to it without being dry. Their sauce reminds me of this fish sauce/garlic/ginger sauce. Very classic dipping sauce for this dish. Phnom Penh Dry Noodles + Egg Noodles; Pork for Protein: 4.0/5 Second favorite item. We did have the option to choose rice noodles or egg noodles and my choice was the egg noodles today. Their noodles seem just almost too soft for me. I would have liked to see there to be more bite to it. Not a big concern though. I thought the flavor of this quite good. Very umami. The pork was also nicely seasoned. They do well with balancing the sweet, salty, and umami. Even for pork, the meat is very tender like it's been marinading in a sauce, which I like. They do come with a shrimp eggroll. This one is interesting because I feel like the ratio of shrimp to wrapper is a little off. My friend initially noted it, but I had to try it for myself to see what he really meant. It's really just shrimp and that bite of it is pretty overwhelming, so the eggroll part of it becomes masked. Theres nothing else inside of the wrapper either, so no other flavors or textures are there to support or contribute to it. --------- Quality: Hot and made to order All of our items came out piping hot. Each item was literally sizzling while on the plate or super hot internally. Will definitely have to caution to not burn our mouth, but it's nice to see that things are made fresh like this. Price: Affordable They are currently having a buy one, get one event right now, so the price was really affordable for our dinner today. Regardless of the BOGO event though, their prices seem reasonable for one plate. Price ranges will be from $12 to $17 for a plate. Of note, their portion sizes are optimal and what makes this place appealing to me. Their chicken plate looked amazing for it's price. They don't just give you fried chicken, but they add items in it like the fries. It's actually makes such a big difference and I personally really liked that. Service: Limited Services Limited service because all of the ordering is from the Kiosk at the back wall when you enter the door. They have the option for "Dine In" and "Take Out", but you do all of the ordering on the kiosk. You're also able to get your own water, utensils, and take out boxes on the side. Ambiance: Pizza Kitchen vibes Can be a grab and go place or a dine in place. This place does sell pizza and I might have to come back to try it. The interior itself gives me mostly pizza kitchen vibes though. Might be the color, but overall quite nice. Aroma of the food smelled amazing here and really stimulates my hunger hormones. Location/Parking: Tiny parking This place is located really close by to Great Mall. It's on S Main Street and next to Thaibodia. Parking is absolutely tiny. There are about 15 spots, but some of them were blocked off during the time that we came, so +/-5 spaces. We came early, so we had a lot of spaces open, but by the time we finished and within the midst of dinner rush hour, there were no spaces left. read more

The portions are huge here! Both dishes have bold flavors and aren't overly salty. The chicken had a nice charred Asian bbq flavor, which reminded me of Cantonese style roast chicken. Texture of the lort cha was amazing, and it tasted like an elevated pad see ew. Service here was welcoming and you can tell the workers take pride in their cooking. read more

Stopped by INTL Kitchen near the Milpitas Library for a quick snack break and it was a pretty satisfying visit. Tried the green curry roti pizza, pandan waffles, and Thai milk tea. The flavors are fun and a little different from the usual, especially the curry roti pizza which is a unique twist you don't see often. The pandan waffles were light and fragrant, and the Thai milk tea hit the spot as a classic sweet treat. Portions are generous even for snacks, and the prices feel very reasonable for what you get, so it's easy to share or just enjoy a casual bite without spending much. Overall, a convenient spot if you're in the area and craving something a little different. Great value for money and worth popping in for a quick snack. read more

No one greeted us at the door, which set a flat tone from the start. We ordered the monthly specials, Phnom Penh Noodle and Grilled Chicken Rice Plate plus the lemon pepper wings. Portions were generous, but the food was mediocre at best. The noodles were bland, the rice plate was just okay, and the chicken in both was decent but nothing special. We did find a long piece of hair in our noodles. Definitely killed the rest of the meal for us. The lemon pepper wings were forgettable, and the fries came out soggy and way too lemony. read more

We saw a TikTok about this place and had to check it out. Took advantage of their BOGO deal for the sizzling rice plate and roti pizza. I hope they keep the BOGOs going after April ends because it's great bang for your buck. My favorite was the whole fried tilapia and the phnom penh noodles. There aren't a lot of places where I can get a simple plate of crispy fish with rice and nuoc cham, so this was awesome. Service was good. We ordered at the kiosk and then took a number back to our table. They served us quickly and bussed the table after we left. Plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. We sat outside and got to take advantage of the beautiful weather that day. There was a bit of a breeze so napkins were flying lol. All in all a good experience and I would come back to take advantage of more BOGO deals! read more

I'm a bit dissatisfied in my first visit to INTL Kitchen. I confirmed what I suspected which is that they have the same owners as Thaibodia which I've been to a couple times and liked. I went to order the Phnom Penh Dry Noodles with Pork before I even knew they had a promotion. See the photos. Even allowing for the fact that noodles can stick together it just was not good. There was no sense of it being a dish. Just a pile of noodles with some pork around the outside. On a positive note, the BOGO part of the promotion, Grilled Chicken Hainan Rice, the chicken at least was very tasty, grilled and moist. There was a lot of rice which was just dry and I didn't have any use for. Maybe I was supposed to pour sauce on it? It's a nice looking place geared towards takeout perhaps but they have a nice little patio out front which could come in handy. Next time I'm more likely to go to Thaibodia. read more

Wow! Was on the hunt for new eateries in Milpitas and found the perfect spot right next to Thaibodia! Walking in, it was the most beautiful clean interior. It had such a streamlined ordering system, I ordered at the kiosk and the food came out in minutes! My favorite was the Num Banh Chok noodle soup as well as the Namya noodle soup. The most fragrant flavorful curries. I really loved the Phnom Penh dry noodles and skewers as well. The mango custard was also to die for. Had the privilege of meeting the owner and he was the sweetest. Will be back with my family for sure. read more

Stopped by this new Southeast Asian restaurant recently and it's already going on my regular rotation list. The space feels fresh and modern, and I really liked that you can see straight into the kitchen--it's spotless and adds a lot of confidence in the food. Service stood out right away. The team was welcoming, and the manager went out of their way to make us feel at home, even surprising us with a complimentary dessert at the end. Food-wise, everything leaned flavorful and generous in portion: * The grilled chicken rice was a nice change from the usual version--more depth from the char, and the rice had great aroma. Definitely a full meal on its own. * The Phnom Penh-style noodles had a really satisfying mix of textures, with seafood and other toppings bringing a lot of variety to each bite. * The dry rub wings were bold and addictive, with a good crisp on the outside. Easy to snack on and great for sharing. * The whole grilled tilapia was simple but well executed--juicy, tender, and perfect if you're in the mood for something lighter but still filling. * The mango pudding was a highlight: soft, rich, and not overly sweet, with real fruit in it--felt more homemade than typical restaurant desserts. Never had this happen to me at thaibodia next door. Food was good until dessert time came getting excited to try their mango sticky rice and what do you know as soon as the lid was opened from the container what do we see? Extra flies that we didn't order. But don't let this stop you from trying it. See for yourself if the food is good or go to Oakland to get Cambodian food. Just saying maybe check the containers before serving to the customer and doing a final quality check. Hate to leave this review but fly don't lie. read more

My friend recommended this place, so I tried it out on a weeknight for dinner and it did not disappoint! My party of 3 ordered the kathiew cha (chow fun), hainan chicken rice plate, & curry roti. Each dish came out so flavorful and just the right amount to share between 3 people. We were definitely full. It's basically a self serve place where you order on the kiosk, grab your own plates/utensils and sauces while you wait for the food to come out. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating so that was nice. Oh, and they had a bogo deal so one of our dishes was basically free! Can't beat that! read more

Came here for a pickup and was real excited to try it out, but I was very disappointed. It's attached to Thaibodia which I am a big fan of. Because it is attached to Thaibodia, the actual restaurant looks nice, but I didn't eat there. The angry fried fish I think is also served at Thaibodia and is very good. The phnom penh noodle dish was pretty decent. Nothing to write home about, but had some interesting flavors. The roti pizza was just meh - the flavors are alright, but the pizza was doughy still. The "Hainan Chicken Rice" was the real shock - looked nothing like the photos and it even missed the most important part, the chicken skin. The chicken flavor was awful and flavorless. It almost tastes watered down, which is crazy! The rice was dry too! I couldn't believe how bad it was and had tothrow it away. All in all, I know it's a new shop, and I really want to support small businesses, but I really have to say that I'd avoid this and just order at Thaibodia instead. read more

We tried International kitchen for lunch. This is similar to Thai food. The food is pretty authentic and tastes decent. They have a special going on at this moment with buy one and get one free entree. The crowd size is decent around lunch time. You ordered from the kiosk and service is quite fast. Overall, this is a good place for family meals and take out. They have outside seating and pretty much a self service restaurant, cleaning up after you ate. Overall is a very nice place to try if you are in the Milpitas area. read more

WOW! I was hesitant to try this place at first. Most Cambodian restaurants are NOT good in the Bay Area. It's usually bland and made for western taste buds. So hats off to the chef! Very authentic! The lort cha was my favorite. Taste just like my moms! The grilled chicken with garlic and rice was also really good. I got the sticky rice and mango and it was so yummy! The me cha (noodles stir fry) was good too! The best Lort cha! I only wanted to add sunny side up egg on top. Definitely coming back soon! read more

Grand Opening today. I showed up at 11:30, opening time was 11am and there was a line out the door. They were offering a few deals today. Grand opening promo was: First 100 gets a free curry pizza and they also had a BOGO deal which is what I went for today. It was: Buy 1 Phnom Penh Dry Noodles or Lort Cha Noodles get 1 Grilled Chicken Hainan Rice FREE. I ordered online about 30 minutes before opening and it gave me a pickup time of 1130. When I arrived there was a line for the kiosk to order. I went straight to the counter for pickup orders. The food was ready and the girl was very kind to let me order drinks too. I only waited an additional 5 more minutes and I was out the door. They offer an indoor dining room and an outdoor patio area. Parking lot is a bit small and they share with Thaibodia. The food was pretty good! The chicken was crispy and tasty. The Hainan rice and cucumber, pickled daikon were perfect accompaniment for our food. I really liked the noodles, I ordered with the combo meats which includes pork, shrimp cake, fishcake and a crispy shrimp. It had a lot of cilantro, green onions and chives. I ordered it mild and it had a good peppery spice. I'm really glad I ordered a Thai iced tea with the meal, it was refreshing and helped with the mild spice. Pleasantly satisfied. Me and my family liked the food a lot today and would go back to try more of the menu. They have a good variety on the menu, Hainan chicken rice, sizzling plates, roti pizzas, specialty noodles, and even whole fish dishes. They have a good variety of drinks, iced tea, milk tea, and lemonades. Definitely excited for this new addition to our neighborhood eats! read more

The food was very delicious! The pizza and sizzling rice plate were both very tasty. Mango pudding was also nice. The restaurant was very clean and the waiter was very nice. The order was from kiosk, it was very convenient. I can see all the pictures of the dishes. read more

Generous portion and now has BOGO promotion. Grilled lemongrass chicken and rice are well seasoned, those fish sauces / garlic not so spicy fish sauce come with it are not necessary otherwise will be too salty for this dish, if change to a spicy tangy hot sauce will be much better. Lort Chat noodles is so so, not the flavor that I am looking for, most probably is because using different seasoning or soy sauce, it is more on the Maggi Seasoning sauce flavor. read more

Came here on a Sunday night. Not too crowded. Service was fast and staffs were very nice. They had a bogo deal today. Buy chicken hainan rice and get a lorta noodles for free. Great deal! Portions were huge. I didn't finish so I had to take it to go. Drinks were okay. Food was so good I ordered another portion to go. Totally recommend coming here again. read more

This place has a good variety of Asian food, it is very spacious and clean, suitable for both couples and big groups. They just opened up so plenty of promotions are going on right now. Grilled Garlic Chicken Hainan Rice & Grilled Whole Pompano: They are served on a sizzling plate and are both very flavorful! The fish is crispy on the outside and very tender on the inside, the chicken can be not so tender but when dipped with the sauce is still very good. Phnom Penh Dry Noodle (with mixed vegetables): Noodle is chewy and full of flavor, you got carrot, cabbage, broccoli and bean sprout - all cooked on point and gives you a very balanced taste. Mongo Sticky Rice: Fresh mango with sticky rice, a classic Thai dish for dessert. The portion is large than I expected! Just visited this newly opened Southeast Asian spot in Milpitas and had a great experience overall. The restaurant is clean and bright, and the open kitchen lets you see everything being prepared, which is always reassuring. The staff were super friendly--when the manager heard us speaking Mandarin, they even gave us a complimentary mango pudding, which was such a sweet touch. Here's what we ordered: * Grilled Garlic Chicken Hainan Rice A grilled twist on the classic Hainan chicken rice--more flavorful than the usual poached version. The chicken was juicy and well-seasoned, and the rice was fragrant. Portion size was generous and very filling. * Phnom Penh Dry Noodle My favorite dish of the night! It's a Cambodian-style stir-fried noodle, somewhat similar to Vietnamese flavors, with seafood and fish cake mixed in. Lots of toppings and great texture. * Signature Dry Rub Wings Crispy, well-seasoned wings with a dry rub that really hits.
