Great location in downtown Eugene! Walking distance to so many shops like Nike Wellness Collective and Provisions Market. The hotel is clean and staff are friendly. There is an outdoor patio with lots of seating as well as an office space on each floor for working remotely. Highly recommend next time you visit Eugene!

Had a lovely stay here at the start of our anniversary road trip. The staff are all very friendly and thoughtful, from a lovely handwritten note and snack basket delivered to our room to the valet making sure we had cold waters on checkout... I haven't experienced this level of customer service ever, even at the high-end luxury hotels. Bed was comfortable, the butler's pantry is brilliant, and the tub had jets. The couch in the tub room gave us a giggle, but I could totally see curling up there after a soak to continue reading while the spouse is watching tv.

My husband and I spent a night at the inn on our drive back from Seattle to CA. We had been up since 4am and when we arrived to check in, we were warmly and enthusiastically greeted by Hope at the front desk. She gave us great recommendations for local restaurants/bars as well as shops we could visit that were within walking distance. We were also told about the complimentary snacks/drinks as well which were a nice touch. The lobby was very nicely decorated and welcoming. We booked a premium king room which included a fireplace. As the weather was particularly chilly during our visit, the fireplace was so nice to have; I just wished we could allow it to run all night rather auto shut off after 120 min. We valeted our car and the attendants were super friendly and thoughtful. We made our journey back to CA at 5 in the morning and the attendant made sure to warm up the car for us beforehand. :) We are looking forward to heading back to Eugene to be able to spend more time exploring. The people here are all so friendly and the boutique shops had unique offerings I couldn't purchase at home.

A bit late with posting... the best thing this place has going for them was the friendly desk staff. We had high hopes on this scheduled trip to visit my daughter. Decided to try something new and stay at the In. at the 5th...big mistake. The room was filthy! This trip during Covid times when places boast cleanliness this was certainly not the case here. Too bad as the location is perfect and I wish I could make this our go to place for our quarterly visits to Oregon but NOPE! Also they talk about a lovely snack section available throughout your stay and it's just low end candy and soda. How about some fruit, nuts etc. The coolest part was the touch-less room service delivery, it's a separate small door where items can be left available for you to grab from in your room. I really wish the experience was better as I'm so sorry to be writing this!

The staff was so friendly and welcoming! Everything is walking distance, beds were so comfy! Enjoyed the walk to the coffee shops and restaurants connected to the hotel! I needed some comfortable shoes, I headed down stairs to the small boutique next to the ATM!

This is supposed to be an upscale hotel? You would think so, from the prices they charge. I could not believe how dirty it was. The carpets were stained, as was the window seat cushion. The walls were scuffed and there was dirt in all areas of the bathroom. I was actually shocked. The wood cabinets were dry and looked so cheap. I would not have even expected that from hotels/motels charging half as much. We were there for a week and at one point I saw a small leaf on the floor under the desk and was going to pick it up but then thought, oh, let me see if they vacuum there. Sure enough, when we got back to the room, the leaf was still there. Yikes. They give out plenty of free snacks but that would not prompt me to go back. The staff was very polite, and we loved the valet guys. We also thought the bed was very comfortable. But . . . take a look at the photos I took.

Be aware that the train runs right past this place and blows its horn on occasion. It is a bit spendy.

We were greeted by a friendly interested host who, seeing how hot and tired we were, promptly offered us a beverage. Beer on tap! The best Japanese lager and a glass of white wine was just what we craved. We humped our gear up a short flight of stairs to a room around the corner on the second floor. Beautiful! Clean! Comfortable king bed. Quality engineered hardwood floors, no plastic here. Wood ceilings and pine open closet neatly organized with plush white towels. Thoughtfully appointed room in modern colors that complimented the wood and white linens. All of it, ample space, color coordination (even the old style phone matched the fridge and microwave). But the bathroom was amazing. Beautiful tile work, walls and floor. The plumbing fixtures look like "steam pump" style in brass. Nothing was missed here. Everything matches. Clearly the owner takes great pride in this motel and has gone above and beyond to make their guest's stay remarkable and memorable. Needless to say, we are impressed and so pleased to find this gem. We highly recommend the Timbers Motel. We will return.

Room was not only nice and clean, but thoughtfully decorated and warm. Then when we were about to check out we went to breakfast. This hotel breakfast definitely went the extra mile. It had anything you could want - waffle maker, freshly sliced bread, eggs, cereal... And in a lovely atmosphere - the lobby is just as cozy and thoughtfully decorated as the rooms are. Gentle music playing, a nice outdoor patio if that's your preference. We've got a busy day ahead of us and this place gave us a perfect beginning to it. Thank you and we'll be back for sure!

Check-in was smooth, and the staff member who greeted us was genuinely pleasant and cool, giving us some extra water and few green bags of goodies (returned the next day), promising to wave the parking fee. That's where the positives ended. After a long drive, we dropped our bags in da rooms and went out for a dinner without inspecting our rooms a bit closely. When we returned later that night and checked the beds with a UV light, we were shocked to find stains on both beds. It was darn disturbing (photos attached)! We went down to the front desk to report it. The night staff told us there was no one available to change the linens and no other rooms available to change at full occupancy. Instead, we were handed a set of sheets and sent back to deal with it ourselves. After 10 PM, exhausted, we had no real choice but to accept it. In the morning, we raised the issue again with the new front desk rep. The replacement sheets were not much better, and despite our complaint, the response was limited to verbal apologies only. We were still charged full price for the night, plus a $20 parking fee for overfilled parking lot that's essentially had open access from the street. This is not the level of cleanliness or service expected from a Hyatt. Do your due diligence and do not assume standards are being met. Check your room carefully before settling in. Breakfast on the other hand was great! Variety of eggs, milks and healthy choices beat other Hyatt locations we stated at the next day in Portland. Loved it, and that what basically got the stars.
