Worst staff!! The staff is super unfriendly and are completely unreasonable! No on site laundry. I need a pair of sweatpants for my son dried for 10 minutes and they absolutely refused to even consider it. I have maintained every level from platinum to spire years ago with IHG and I average 200 plus nights a year in hotels. For staff to be so ridiculous with this is unacceptable. Liability? Come on. Since the last visit, the Eugene area has retained its title as grungy town USA and the ripple effect unfortunately has worn down this once brand new build. Garbage around the lot, encampments along the streets and zombies wandering making the dog walks uncomfortable. The inside has definitely seen some wear & tear; needs touch ups everywhere especially the lobby. The check-in clerk was poised but not the most hospitable when unable to fulfill our reservation. Status does not matter in this hotel. The star of the hotel was the young gal working the kitchen & bar. Friendliest & professional personality you want from hotel service. By herself, she was hustling & juggling the tasks of three staff no problem. It was obvious all the guests in the bistro were pleasantly served by this lone ranger! For its class of hotels, this property is as good as it can get. The hotel is pretty new (no more than several years old) and really clean. The only thing that could be better is its location. Guest Room We were given a corner room on the top floor (Rm 402). It was clean, quiet, and spacious. The beds were unbelievably comfortable, more comfortable than our own beds at home! There're exercise equipments in the room (e.g., an exercise ball, yoga mat). Location The hotel is located in a quiet area with several car dealers nearby (e.g., BMW dealership). The downside is that there are no restaurants or cafes within walking distance (except for the hotel restaurant and a cafe stand in the medical center next to the hotel). If you don't mind driving, you can find quite a few restaurants and shops within several minutes of driving. Parking There's plenty of free on-site parking. Some slots are covered and others are not. It's not fenced but the area seems pretty safe. Recommendation If you would like a clean and comfortable hotel, I think this is it in Eugene. On my next trip to Eugene, I'm 100% positive that I will stay here again. The bed was super comfortable, the lighting options were great, and I appreciated how easy it was to charge my devices both at the desk and by the bed. Worst Hotel in Eugene. I asked if I could leave my car in the parking lot for a few hours after check out, which I've done at several hotels, they said they can't, too busy, so I parked on the street, when I came back there parking lot was half empty. I was charged a $50 fee checking in for incidentals, a week later it still was refunded. There maid stole a phone cord, the claimed they didn't have it, and denied it, then it magically appeared next day. They are the only hotel in Eugene that doesn't have complimentary breakfast. This is my second time here at the hotel my mom reserved the hotel for us to drop my brother to the university everyone was nice very clean close to pre trail great for runners like my family everything was pretty good until a night before my check out . Alarm went on around 8:30 pm we where sleeping since we are runners we start our day early so we wake up went to check out the front desk don't know anything about it the alarm it was on and on until around 10 everyone was. Pretty scared since everything is happening now . Well I try to go back to sleep but I have anxiety and couldn't went to go back to sleep good so I wake up through the night and of course imagine the worst things can happen to us. I stayed at the EVEN Hotel Eugene, Oregon in February of 2025 while on a college trip with my daughter. I would highly recommend this hotel because of the clean modern rooms, friendly staff, and good location. Pros - on-site parking/secure, safe area, new clean modern rooms with exercise stations, above average gym, small pool, ping pong table room, pleasant lobby, on-site restaurant, and free fruit infused water in lobby, dog friendly (a pro if you like dogs). Cons - no free breakfast (how about a free granola/breakfast bar in the morning to keep my blood sugar EVEN?), parking lot is a bit tight for larger vehicles, nothing within walking distance from the hotel although the area is quiet. Overall, my stay at the EVEN Hotel Eugene far exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend this location and the chain in general. read more

Full disclosure: I rarely book hotels. The last time I did it was at the front desk. I was looking for a hotel for my family to stay in on our way to Seattle. The Kayak website quoted me a decent price on two rooms for one night at the EVEN Hotel Eugene. Thinking I prefer talking to a real person, I called. They don't answer the phone number provided on the kayak website, that's a third party, "rentaroom". The gentleman was very nice, but a fast talker with a thick accent. I thought the quote he gave me was for two rooms, since it was very close to the price I saw online for two rooms. I gave him my credit card info and accepted the reservation. Then he went on to the second room. I stopped him and explained that I understood that I was reserving two rooms for that price, not two times that price. He didn't even mention the full price as it would have tipped me off. I told him no thank you, I did not want the rooms, the price was way too high for us on this trip. He said he could not refund me since I accepted. First, I accepted one and not two rooms, second it had literally been less than 2 minutes since I said that and in good faith expected he could cancel the transaction. No, he would not, and sent me to another department. Interestingly the money was withdrawn immediately, no time wasted there. The separate department took a long time to tell me the same thing, that they could not refund me. Then they said they would try. After 45 minutes had passed I told them that I needed to leave. They said if I hung up they would lose contact with their "third party". I don't know how many people are involved in these transactions but I find it bonkers that so many disconnected parties are needed to book a hotel room. Two frustrating hours later I still don't have my refund, something that could have been a simple cancelled transaction on the spot. EVEN hotel claims they can't even refund the rooms. The moral is be very careful booking hotels on the Kayak or Expedia (same company) website especially when using the phone number they provide. This has to be how they are able to get a better price on rooms than an in-person booking despite the middle-men. I know, I'm an idiot for not booking online. It's just that I'm not the only one that prefers to talk to a reasonable person and wanted to let folks know that the Expedia or Kayak website is NOT the place to go if you are looking for that type of transaction. read more

Other than hearing the person above us walking across the floor our one night stay was just fine. Comfortable beds. Clean room. Pet friendly. Nice carts with hand breaks on them to move your belongings to from car. Big tv. Close to a park. Free parking. They have a bar that serves food. (We did not try the food but if in a bind nice to know they have). Big walk in shower. Off to try their breakfast shortly. Coffee is usually my main breakfast event so hoping for that and calling it a good stay! Oh wow husband just returned with a menu. We order breakfast from a menu and they prep for us. Fun! Update: The breakfast is excellent! Fresh squeezed orange juice. Wait service. Wide variety of choices. My husband is loving his avocado toast with hard boiled egg on side. We found this hotel by happenstance. It opened 6 months ago and so it's clean and new! And love that they are dedicated to your fitness! Awesome fitness center and pool and spa! In your Room you have a yoga mat, blocks, bands and a fitness ball! Love that! Rooms are small but they have a dedicated area so you can do your yoga! Staff is friendly (but overly chatty) upon check in. On site some covered parking and a cute little restaurant with local products for sale in their "shop". The issue here is the insulation. Think NY apartment. Like my NY apartment you have thin walls and little insulation between floors (and walls) so at 5am our "upstairs"neighbors woke up and started to stomp around and even begin their exercises. So that woke us up! So not so cool! Then let's say our sexually active neighbors were up at 6 and again a few hours later so we were awake as we hear everything. Just too much neighboring noise for me. I will pass on this hotel. read more

This "wellness" hotel is not a place for sports teams to stay. It's loud, the walls are paper thin, the restaurant menu is not that healthy, the internet is weak, and the service was third-tier. The hotel gym, which is the supposed draw of this hotel, is basically shut down during COVID. You need a reservation to work out, which would have been nice to know when we checked in. It has the charm of a Soviet training facility. I'd give it one star, but nobody takes those reviews seriously. We left mid-stay and moved to the Graduate, which is sooo much better and actually less expensive. read more

Great hotel that is very close to Autzen Stadium and the University of Oregon campus. Clean rooms, fairly quiet, a lap pool and workout center, plus all the rooms contain workout equipment inside (stretch bar attached to the wall, yoga mat, light free weights, tension bands). Parking is prevelant onsite, check-in and out was a breeze, and there is a restaurant and gift shop that carries Ducks merchandise onsite. (I didn't try the restaurant, so cannot speak to anything about it beyond the seating was similar to a cafeteria). The surrounding area has a couple of college bars, a few decent restaurants within walking distance, and a nice route along the river. This is a hotel I will be sure to stay at again the next time I am in Eugene for a Ducks game! read more

Wow. This place is amazing !! I planned a road trip from Vancouver to California and decided to stop in Eugene for the night. Travelling by myself, I need to be in a space I feel comfortable and everything about this hotel made me feel at ease. I got in late and they had no issues of late check in as there's always someone at the front desk. The locations is dead centre of the city and close to great shopping and restaurants. They have self parking which was safe with luggage carts at the door, a pool and gym and a great restaurant in the lobby. Very eco friendly hotel for a great price. I booked a king size room with a glass shower and it was bigger than expected. The room also came with yoga/workout equipment which had me on my toes. Never have I ever had this available to me right in my room. The bed was comfy and good heating. It's unfortunate I was only there for a few hours to catch some rest because I would've definitely stayed longer if knew I would've loved this place. read more

My family and I needed a hotel for 3 nights in Eugene. I called about 10 of them and they were all booked. When I called EVEN I was a bit hesitant and skeptical as I've never heard of an EVEN hotel before. When I called they had a room available so I took it. We got there and my husband checked us in. When we got to our room it was beautiful! It had yoga and work out stuff right in our room along with an actual workout gym on the 2nd floor. The whole room and bathroom were spotless!! They have a menu you can order from your room. My family didn't eat any of the food from here so I can't say anything about that. They serve iced lemon and mint water all day. There is a ping pong table you can use. The pool and hot tub were perfect! Our girls had a blast in both!! My girls were also really excited about the water bottle you get with your room! One little negative my husband and I as was their parking. Their whole lot is compact spots. It wasn't easy to find a spot when we checked in because we have a suburban. We were lucky that a couple other people parked crooked or otherwise I'm not sure where we would have parked. If ever needing a hotel room in Eugene again we will definitely stay here. The hotel was clean, the staff tried to be helpful but obviously needed some training. On a Saturday night I went to the Bar, had a Stella and then was told it had run out. I asked if there was a backup, "Nope" was the reply. Now the hotel was full of sporting types and pretty well occupied. Did the bar manager not look at the occupancy level and work out there might be a demand for one of Americas popular beers? Did he/she just tick the usual box and not care if they ran out? I mean why worry, just guests they can drink other beer, they won't be back, not locals! Went to make some coffee in the morning and the cleaning staff forgot to replenish the powdered milk etc. Call house keeping at 6:30, a girl said she would be up with replacements in a couple of minutes. 30 mins later I went to the restaurant and got a cup of milk for the coffee. At 10:30, she still hadn't come up to the room with replacements. Two conclusions, she had the memory of a Gold Fish and forgot after 20 seconds or she she was wondering around aimlessly looking for our room. The final encounter was at check-out, we had been charged for breakfast which was complimentary. We asked for the charged to be reversed, the girl at the desk didn't have a clue and said "Hotels.com" would deal with it. With her it seemed the lift had stopped one floor short and she was very "spacey". In the end we gave up as we didn't have all day for her to work out how to reverse the charge. Now I might be being a little harsh if she hadn't been trained, the average age of the 3 at the desk was probably 20, so no real direction being given. I hope a new Bar Manager is appointed and when the girls come out of orbit, they get the training they desperately need. read more

Very bare bones. "Wellness hotel" is a stretch; they had a yoga mat and ball in the room (two stars) and some stretch bands. No art. Instead they wrote slogans on the wall. "Relax and rejuvenate" on our bathroom door. One sheet. One comforter as a sheet. One tiny soap as the only thing offered for bathing. No lotion. No ear swabs. No ice on our floor. Also no beer for sale. :/ COVID PROBLEMS: You need a reservation for athletic lounge - ie the gym (which is fine but) they don't tell you until you're too late and standing there in your shorts and the gym reservation slots are all full. The amazing healthy restaurant promised on their website has a menu reduced to 5 meat items. No veggie option. They don't service your room daily (also fine but they don't tell you until you return to your snarled sheets, wet floor towels, and no coffee left from the morning). There's a fresh yoga mat in my room for stretching and relaxing .. a big flat screen, comfy new bed and LUSH pillows. After having a total failure at a nearby hotel, this place saved our hides. We had just driven five hours to Eugene with a month worth of gear in the car, so a super reasonable rate for a VERY nice and spacious pet-friendly room with a king bed was an absolute save. The rooms come standard with exercise equipment (there is also a separate fitness center) and a tv channel of guided workouts, along with a great TV setup and Netflix. The rooms are very modern and very comfortable. Parking is easy and the hotel feels new and bright. After we caught a glimpse of a room with a cybex spin bike (we travel with bikes and an indoor spin bike and we use a peloton at home), we asked about upgrading. For about $190/night we got a beautiful suite with a separate seating room, a large workout area and Cybex spin bike, a balcony that looks directly at Autzen Stadium (Go Ducks!), and a separate, spacious king bedroom with a large bathroom. While we're yearly regulars to the Eugene area, we spend most of our weekend getaways in the California SF Bay Area. The quality and amenities in this room for $190 are ridiculous. What a treat. The hotel is in a semi-industrial area with business offices and car lots, BUT it's right off the Coburg overpass and a two-minute walk to Alton Baker Park (miles of bike/running trails song the Willamette river). Multiple freeways, shopping centers, and Eugene's great downtown area (yeah Voodoo Donuts as well) are all within a short drive, bike ride, or walk. read more

Flew into Eugene airport late and this hotel was about a 20 minute drive. Plenty of covered parking. The room was spacious and clean. Didn't use the In room workout equipment - stability ball, bands, yoga mat- but it was there. Small refrigerator to store water and fruit. Ice machine on the 2nd floor in the gift shop. Darkening curtains kept the room DARK. I felt safe at the hotel with my 3 daughters. Yes, I would stay again. read more

The room was very clean and held exercising instruments including Clorox wipes to keep it clean. The hotel got an indoor heated pool with jacuzzi, and the crew there were very helpful and kind. I really struggled with whether or not to give this three or four stars. I lean towards the four, I guess because it still pretty new and things look to be in really good shape. And I really loved this angle of having workout equipment in the room. I have a few friends that would be over the moon to stay at a place like this. The downside, was how thin the walls were, it was noisy above us, running toilet constantly, and we could hear her talking through the air vents from another room. That part wasn't cool. The bathroom was a good size and aesthetically, the room was acceptable. Also liked the fun quotes on the walls sprinkled throughout the halls and room. read more

Had the pleasure of staying here for 2 nights. The staff was helpful and expedited requests promptly. I asked to move rooms and without hesitation I got a new room. Every room is equipped with resistant bands, medicine ball, yoga mat and blocks for the use in privacy. The room is ample in size. The only issue was the bed was a bit firm, but the hotel is fairly new so I'm sure with time that will work itself out. The hotel has a well equipped gym, game room, bar/restaurant and fire pit to enjoy along with indoor pool and hot tub. They offer complimentary hot tea in the evening in the lobby Good location and plenty of parking. Our family stayed here when we took our daughter to school for her first year of college. I accidentally left clothes and shoes in the bottom two drawers when we checked out. I called the hotel the next day to ask if the housekeepers turned it in. They said they will call me back. I called back later that day. I called again a few days later, and a few days after that and I never heard back from them. :( update: it's been three weeks and I still never heard back from the hotel. They didn't even call back to say they didn't find it. Bye bye Nike shoes, Tory Burch sandals, underwear and bras. I guess it's my own fault for not checking the drawers before I left. read more
