The hotel appears to have recently undergone a renovation. It looks nice, if you don't look too closely. If you do you'll notice cosmetic issues. This hotel is NOT accessible. You must step up into each unit and the office. The bathroom door is narrow; you might be able to get in sideways with a walker, but not a Rollator. There are new low-sided tubs, and hooray! they provide a no-slip tub mat. So happy I didn't have to use mine. But no grab bars. I used the towel rack, but this worried me, because i could easily see it coming off the wall. Soap, shampoo, and conditioner is provided in the shower. But someone wasn't thinking during the bathroom remodel. The mirror over the sink was mounted above the tile. At 4'11", all I can (barely) see is the top of my head. If I need a mirror, I have to step into the hallway and use the big mirror on the closet door. But the only lighting comes from the bathroom, so putting on makeup is a crapshoot. I just hoped each day that I'd applied it evenly. The sink faucet ran endlessly unless you turned it way to one side. The toilet paper holder was right under the towel rack. Thank goodness the beds are not crazy high. I was able to easily get in and out. The mattresses are on the firmer side, but not rock-hard. Plenty of pillows are provided. There's a light blanket on the bed, another blanket in the closet (along with a safe and a suitcase rack). Rooms have mini-fridges and microwaves, and a small desk and work chair. There was also a big upholstered chair. There's plenty of lighting, and an A/C - heating unit under the window. It quickly cools or heats the room, but it doesn't reach the bathroom. The large-screen TV is nice, and gets lots of channels, and yet I had trouble finding anything I really wanted to watch. I didn't hear much noise from outside or other rooms, but no one was in the unit next to me during my stay. It's one story, so no upstairs, and there's plenty of parking. There are a couple of places outside where you can sit, and a soda machine. A continental breakfast is available in the office. A couple of fast-food places (Four Guys and Jimmy John's) are about two blocks away. Downtown Eugene is a few blocks away. read more

The way we learned about your business was because the hotel we DID have a reservation for was not able to provide a room because staff was not able to get to work due to the road conditions. As a concession the hotel staff from our original hotel called around for us and connected us to your business. I got a room here for two nights when I had to visit from out of state suddenly to visit family. When we arrived the first room I got was dirty. There was hair in the shower and garbage on the floor and I had no intention of complaining because, whatever, it's a motel room and will only be in the room to sleep for 2 nights. But then I found a bag of DRUGS in my bed! I brought this to the front desk person's attention and she was very sweet. After several interactions with her following up with us about the incident after she spoke with her manager we decided to switch rooms, which they offered to us. The second room we got was once again not very clean. There was hair in the ice bucket and visible dried up liquid residue that had dripped all down the wall. The state of these rooms led us to not even wanting to pull down the sheets to sleep in them but just the thin top blanket instead. Still wasn't worth going to the lady at the front desk yet again. We were very tired and we're really only going to be sleeping there for two nights. And I no intention of leaving them a review of any kind at all until today I noticed in my email receipt that they kept $50 of my deposit for miscellaneous charges when I called them to clarify they said they kept my $50 as a cleaning fee! When I asked them to clarify she told me that the housekeepers found stains on the sheets that look 'like bodily fluid' and that got charged extra to clean. I'm mortified. Not only did I find drugs in one of my beds but either they didn't clean the sheets before giving the room to another guest or they charged me cleaning fee hoping I wouldn't notice. Room was crazy small. Super loud outside for Eugene Oregon and couldn't sleep. Room did not look anything like the pictures. Hotel didnt look like the pictures. Room was shabby at best. Breakfast included was bananas and bags of nuts with juice and coffee; breakfast for a rabbit. Would not recommend for $150.00 a night with pet: motel 6 for $95.00 would have been far better. read more

I stayed here for a few days in August I believe, went to pay for another night & was told the hotel was booked. However, their sign that said Vacancy was never changed to No Vacancy & they rented a room to someone else right after that. I guess my money wasn't as good as everyone else's. Also, I used a debit card for the deposit & it took them literally an entire month to release the funds back to my card. It was impossible to get a manager or anyone that knew what they were talking about on the phone & couldn't even get help when I went there in person. They also took 50$ of the 200$ deposit I paid, even though the room was cleaned with no garbage & no damage. Wouldn't recommend this hotel to someone I didn't like. read more

This is the second time staying here. Beds are kinda bouncy and stiff, but the people working there are amazing. It's close to food, walking distance to starbucks or dutch brothers. The maid April deserves 5 stars. I dropped my wallet, went to get good and realized I didn't have it....and it had a check in there for the house we are buying. She is an angel. read more

When I arrived the staff was really friendly. My room seemed pretty clean but had a strange smell to it. It took a while for the heat in my room to kick on, so I was really cold for the majority of the night. When I was leaving the next morning, I noticed there were small blood smears on the wall, so that was upsetting. Would not stay here again. read more

I LOVED staying here- will definitely be back. The people in the front office were so kind and let me leave my suitcase there when I arrived a few hours before check-in. Additionally, I had to request a refund for an accidental charge, and they issued it quickly. There are a number of food options just down the street, and it is very central to other things in town. I stayed at the Courtesy Inn last weekend. 3 nights. A very fine experience. The people running it (the two women at the front desk....both named Julie) are very friendly, quick to pick up the phone, and very efficient. 2 thumbs up. The housecleaners (including a woman who's name I did not catch, but she's from Phoenix, she told me) do a great job, and again, are friendly. There is plenty of on-site parking. Close to downtown and U of Oregon. My room was spacious, and very clean. Shower / bathroom was excellent. Microwave worked great, and the small (but plenty big) fridge was clean and cold. No noise! I slept like a rock. The only thing I would change is to offer a bit more variety for breakfast; maybe some Raisin Bran and Cheerios, to round out the oatmeal, juice, coffee, pastry, bananas. A small quibble. I would stay here again FOR SURE. read more

The staff was incredibly helpful over the phone making reservations honoring price I found online to accommodate my desire to check in early. Room was spotless squeaky clean, all the amenities I could use fridge for baby's juice and microwave to cook up popcorn to relax with a movie. Good location,spacious bathroom with plenty of towels for everyone. We will be using the coffee maker before hitting road back to Los Angeles. I highly recommend this place. This motel is very clean and the room was inexpensive, which is what I was looking for. Parking was easy, the check in was fast and the staff member at the front desk was helpful. We had a queen room booked, but we were put into the king room instead. I only gave it 3 stars because we just didn't like the room. It was clean but not really comfortable. For two people, it felt tight and the bed wasn't comfortable. The room was dingy. I don't think there's anything the owners can do - it's just that kind of motel. I wouldn't stay again but it may be fine for someone else. read more

If I could give ZERO I would! BEWARE of this establishment. I thought I had tried to book a room - and been unsuccessful. Why? Because I never got a confirmation email. So- as I'm driving to Eugene 1.5 weeks later- I suddenly get a $200 bill on my AMEX. I immediately call the motel, explain to them I never received any sort of confirmation email or text- and that I did not know I had a room booked. The woman who answered the phone said, "No problem. We will cancel you- and resent the room". So- I was a bit supervised a week later when still no refund. I called the motel. The manager Chris said that although I was told the room would be cancelled- I wasn't told I'd get a refund????? And that I "should have known" because when I booked there was refund information. I explained I never got an email. He told me he would call the system administrator and PROVE I got a confirmation email. It's been almost another week. I had to file a fraud claim with AMEX. I've tried to email the motel 2X at the published email address on the website. No responses. No proof I received any confirmation. No call or email back although I was promised.. AND- what sort of establishment- tells you when you call "No problem we will cancel you and re-rent the room" but fails to mention, "but you will not receive a refund". I'm never in my hundreds of hotel stays been told "sure we will cancel your reservation" without also being told whether or not there would be a fee. I am absolutely appalled with the unethical and unprofessional treatment I have received. Chris promised to get right back to me a week ago. Nothing. DO NOT BOOK HERE- unless you want to have your money stolen. read more

I really enjoyed my stay here. I'm a traveler who basically wants to pay the least amount I can for a safe and clean room to sleep. I don't need or want to pay for amenities. I was taking the train so this hotel was super convenient to the train station (and it's also close to police station). I took a cab (cab drivers also very nice) but if I didn't have luggage it could have been walked (I think it's about 1/2 mile). The room was cute and clean with some fun wooden paneling that made it look almost cabin like in the bathroom (that had a nice tub!). Microwave and fridge, hairdryer, coffee pot. Don't expect a big breakfast - this is old school continental style like the roadside motels - coffee, juice, some pastries and whole fruit on a little table at the check in desk. Owners super nice and very helpful. You are walking distance to restaurants but I found many of them closed at 9pm on weeknights. That's ok - the hotel supplied a book of one of those delivery services that will pick up from any restaurant. There were a few open until 10pm. The hotel itself has houses around it and it's near a freeway ramp so although it appears isolated if you don't have a car - there are things that are walking distance - but you have to walk a few blocks. Get a map from the hotel or look online (they provide free wifi). There were some things closer than I realized when I woke up and could see them in the daytime. I got a deal through one of those online places...orbitz I think. But I was very happy with what I got for the money. read more

So gross. I tried to champ it out. But I just could not. Too many marks against it by my standards. I am not sure how it gets good reviews. Human hair on the floor and the bathtub. Coffee spilled down the door and on the stoop. Boxes piled up outside by the ice machine. Dingy and dark. Mirrors were so muddled you could barely see and mounted so high if you were under 6ft tall no way you could see in them. And if that was not enough... BUGS! Carpet beetles to be exact. ( had to look them up) and as I panicked and started freaking out about the bugs, The layers revealed urine stains on the spreads, and mold stains on the sheets. ITS DIRTY! not over exaggerating! seriously gross. you may not need fancy, but everyone needs clean. okay not everyone. But if you have standards at all this is not your place. read more

No frills, but exactly what were were looking for. We were in Eugene for a super busy weekend at the university. We popped into the hotel to shower and sleep, but were gone 90% of the time. When we were there it had everything we required- it was clean, beds and pillows were comfortable, hair dryer, and continental breakfast in the morning. It was also quiet which can be a concern in motels that are right off of a busy road. When we are back in town we will make another reservation at the Courtesy Inn. read more

I would choose this place over a Motel 6 as they have better amenities: shampoo,microwave, fridge, blowdryer, laundry room, and a recliner chair with ottoman. Plus location is great. If you walk a couple of blocks you can have breakfast at the Keystone Cafe. Another 10-15 minutes and you're in the Blairrally area filled with pubs, delicious restaurants(soul, pizza, Japanese), and a vintage arcade! Price was reasonable for what I got. I've stayed at better but,boyohboy, have I stayed at much worse. I felt safe and I got a good night's sleep while here. For a one night stop in a city it was all I needed. read more

So hard to find a room for June! of course is graduation time, so we stayed at this Inn, I give 3 stars because the room was clean, the bathroom was clean too, but the noise at night is bad, I guess by having to park right in front of your room, its easy to get everyones noise right in your ear when you at least expect it. Nothing fancy about this place, coffee is free, House keeping was attentive, and internet is included as well. The price was according with the place. read more

Stayed for the first time. Was worried about the quality since it was pretty inexpensive. We had a king room. Super affordable, and the place was clean. Unique motor lodge kind of place. The manager was friendly and helpful. If you want an economy hotel that is clean, then this is a good choice. Walking distance to the Whitaker neighborhood and also close to downtown. Overall it's an older place, small bathroom, and not everything works perfectly. The wood paneling in the bathroom and closet were a blast from the past, and definitely added some character. With a little investment this place could become a trendy spot. Given its location, age, and vintage features it has potential to be like the Jupiter Hotel in Portland. Don't count on the continental breakfast. Its limited and not that great. We'll stay there again. read more

I've stayed here a few times, and it's mostly ok, given how bleak hotels in Eugene are generally, but it's a little bit expensive for what it is. The last time (about 4 years ago) they put me in a very noisy room right by the road and woudn't change my room, even though it was midweek and they were mostly empty; that's the kind of thing that would cost them nothing and get a lot of loyalty, but they dropped the ball. Lovely and really old fashioned. The original wood paneling is real wood (predating that 70s wood paneling bullshit). Unfortunately I think the carpet is original too. There's a newish granite stone floor in the bathroom. Pieces of furniture look updated, while others look outdated. Clean sheets on a huge bed were a big plus. The dust in the corners of the bathroom were not. The room came with a big tv, cable, coffee maker with coffee, microwave, refrigerator, a comfy easychair and ottoman. Wow! Didn't use the laundry room, but there is one if you need it. Honestly, this would be a great place for someone staying a long stretch on a budget. The clerk was very friendly and helpful, recommending great places to visit and eat that were close by in this centrally/conveniently located family inn on par with Motel 6, while giving you more for your money. read more

First of all, this is a motel so I didn't expect much. We really just needed a place to stay for a night as we drove up to Portland. The neighborhood is really quiet, and they accommodated us when we called ahead saying we'd be arriving at 2AM. Overall, our stay was satisfactory. The sheets were clean, Direct TV was a plus, free wifi & microwave and mini-fridge in the room... the only complaint I have is they offer continental breakfast (fruits, bagels, coffee) from 7-10AM, but by 8AM there was nothing left. This is an excellent place to stay for a low price. Clean and simple. Good bed. Allows late arrivals. They even provide a reasonable continental breakfast. Wifi free; good TV. Easy access to freeways; quiet; good parking; Good little fridge. Microwave. No smoking inside and no pets, therefore no allergy problems. I've stayed here twice, both times for about 5 days each time, about a month or so ago. I really enjoyed staying here as it felt more like "home" to me. The first time I checked in I was immediately given info about different restaurants around the area and how late things were open till. Once I mentioned I was vegan, I was given and whole new set of restaurant options . Everyone was so nice and the rooms were clean. The beds are comfortable and the TVs are pretty big for a smaller hotel. I'm traveling alone and normally don't like staying in hotels that have doors outside, but I felt safe here. No matter the time of day or night I was outside there was always a staff member somewhere on site and it made me feel better. Only thing that was weird is the parking spaces in the back, but sometimes you just have to deal with it and I did. I would definitely stay here again if I need a hotel in Eugene . read more
