They had a really nice crispness and freshness to them and just felt different from the normal linens that are usually used. The room also had a nice sitting area. The check in staff was very friendly and nice. The only problem with our room #121 is that it is right across from the housekeeping unit and we were woken up early by the sounds of staff organizing their carts. The breakfast buffet was very good. It was the standard food that is on most breakfast buffets but it was well prepared and tasty.

It's like he didn't know how to make conversation at all. Which is fine, whatever. But he "forgot" to tell me that you have to fill out a form for your breakfast order. He didn't say anything about it until I asked. Because of COVID, things are different so I wasn't sure if they even served breakfast. He also could not show me the direction of our room when I asked, so we walked around the hotel looking for the room. He acted as if we had been there before and knew our way around. Place needs to be updated. I get the old school hotel feel but the shower/bath tub was old. Best part was, I took the elevator at one point and found something that looked like a cigarette butt on the floor in the elevator. Looked closely and it was part of a joint! Weed! Came out and let the man at the front desk know, and it didn't seem to phase him. I guess it's normal even thought they don't allow smoking at the place.

With cleanliness of course, which evidently is taken quite seriously by the Riverpath staff. The rooms and bathrooms and common spaces (such as the ever-so-comfy living room and very well stocked kitchen) were as immaculately cleaned as they were comfortable. The shower water pressure was great and the hot water was plentiful. The beds are new, plush, and luxurious and provided sound sleep. The amenities are varied and bountiful, from feminine hygiene products to pony tail hair ties to makeup remover pads and q-tips, the Riverpath innkeepers thought of everything. I especially loved the teas and coffees selection and utilizing the stainless steel water kettle and coffee pot in the morning before taking a leisurely walk to breakfast along Blair Street. Do not miss this gem! Take it from an fellow innkeeper from the Oregon Coast (that's me), the Riverpath sets the bar WAY high for the rest of us, and I'm honored to call this our new Eugene go-to resting spot when we need to come to the valley and be pampered. BONUS *** Here's an adventure hack for those of you coming to town and might catch some music from the many night spots downtown or in the Whitaker Neighborhood: each room has complimentary earplugs, perfect to gently null some of terrifically delicious band energy found on each clubs' stage - Take a couple with you to keep you rockin' whilst in town! ***

He communicated directly via text and email before we even arrived and provided a lot of valuable advice and suggestions to plan our trip to Eugene and the surrounding area. When we arrived to the B&B it was like coming to a second home with a welcoming relative. Every detail and comfort was considered and present in advance. The estate is massive and yet homey simultaneously. Tom was a tremendous host throughtout our 3 day stay and cooked and served a delicious and fresh breakfast daily. Also charged our Tesla at no cost, told interesting stories about his home and the region, and recommended places to visit. He truly went above and beyond to make our stay a 5-star+++ experience. If all that was not enough, Tom picked berries with our 5-year old in his orchard, gave her cooking lessons, and kept her entertained while we rested. Can't recommend McKenzie Orchard Inn enough and can't thank Tom enough for his warmth and hospitality.

My family and I rented three rooms from Executive and over all had about the experience we expected…read morefor the price of the rooms. Pros: The front desk was friendly. Rooms were pretty clean. Pet Friendly Shower was large and had strong water pressure. Plenty of parking. Easy access from freeway. Large dresser and nightstands with drawers. Awesome tattoo place, Black Lotus, across the street. Cons: I called two different days to confirm my reservation that I had made with booking.com and found no one to answer the phone and no machine. It just continued to ring and then eventually stopped ringing. This went on for 4 different phone calls until on the third day I was able to connect with someone. They did have our rooms available however and called me when we were on our way out of town to head to Eugene. My husband and I stayed in room 110 and there was a gap between the bottom of the door to the ground which made it pretty chilly if not blocked off by pillows or towels. We were in a nonsmoking room directly above a smoking room. Even when our heater vent was not on we could still smell cigarette smoke coming from it. I'm not sure if this is possible with the venting system but I'm an ex-smoker and can smell it clearly. It was coming from that vent. I would suggest they make the entire place nonsmoking and just allow smoking outside. As a smoker, I stayed plenty of places without a smoking room and just smoked outside. There was no sink in the bathroom, although there was room for it. You can tell they recently have, or are in the process of refurbishing the rooms. Maybe they plan to put some in the future. There are still pencil marking in our rooms to show where to hang the pictures, which all matched each room by the way. lol We laughed at our matching "bullet holes" (no they weren't really bullet holes) in our curtains between our room and my parents room two doors down. Both mine and my sisters rooms had new refrigerators but my parents had an older mouthy one that hummed all night long. Enough to the point that they had to unplug it because they couldn't sleep. Only one roll of toilet paper, no tissue, and towels for one night. Would have been nice to have the extras without having to leave for it. Apparently 6th street is kind of the back side of Eugene but we didn't run into any issues. You could see it wasn't the higher end or quaint side of town but all and all we had a good and safe journey.
