Everyone needs to get the story straight to avoid misleading customers. The previous evening valet was very kind; the morning valet was a jerk.

Orange juice and coffee are standard and they have a breakfast kombucha if you want something a little healthier and probiotic. They also have a happy hour with regional wine, bubbles, and local beer for really reasonable prices if you just need a refresher after getting back to the hotel. The location is unbeatable with just a couple of blocks to excellent places to eat downtown like The Davis, and the Eugene Public Library nearby.

When we returned later that night and checked the beds with a UV light, we were shocked to find stains on both beds. It was darn disturbing (photos attached)! We went down to the front desk to report it. The night staff told us there was no one available to change the linens and no other rooms available to change at full occupancy. Instead, we were handed a set of sheets and sent back to deal with it ourselves. After 10 PM, exhausted, we had no real choice but to accept it. In the morning, we raised the issue again with the new front desk rep. The replacement sheets were not much better, and despite our complaint, the response was limited to verbal apologies only. We were still charged full price for the night, plus a $20 parking fee for overfilled parking lot that's essentially had open access from the street. This is not the level of cleanliness or service expected from a Hyatt. Do your due diligence and do not assume standards are being met. Check your room carefully before settling in. Breakfast on the other hand was great! Variety of eggs, milks and healthy choices beat other Hyatt locations we stated at the next day in Portland. Loved it, and that what basically got the stars.

We go back up to our room ready to call it a night, the AC didn't work, the remote didn't work, there was no water bottles in the fridge like they said there was. We go back down to the lobby at this point because if we are paying $250 for a room you would expect it to have all the working amenities that you would want right? We get back down there and by this point I'm upset because our wedding night was ruined by that experience so I sat there crying in a hotel lobby in my wedding dress which was such a terrible experience. They tried to make it right by "letting us get a drink on the side". To which the bar tender who previously told us "no" made, which felt extremely uncomfortable to us since we knew he didn't want to be "serving us". Also here are some good tips to know if you stay there in the future that they don't tell you: If you want breakfast you have to order it the night before, if something is broken in your hotel room they won't send anyone up to fix it. My husband and I would have had a better time at a Best Western, they at least are cheaper and you get better amenities and staff that is actually helpful and doesn't just awkwardly stare at you as you cry in your wedding dress. It was unbearably hot and steamy, with no air conditioning or adequate ventilation, despite the rest of the building being cooled. The conditions were so shocking and unsafe that we turned around immediately, left without staying, and went to find another hotel. When we raised the issue, staff simply suggested using a fan. The only way to have endured the night would have been to sleep with the door wide open to the hallway, which was obviously not a safe or reasonable option. I will never return to this hotel and cannot recommend it to anyone. The lack of basic comfort and guest care is unacceptable.

We typically try to stay with the Hilton brand and chose to stay in this Tru location which is convenient to both Interstate 5 and stops in Eugene or Springfield. It is also convenient for those in town for campus related events at the U of O. We booked our stay online and as usual, checked in via the Hilton app. When we arrived, we decided to get keys from the front desk, primarily because our past experiences with using the digital keys to unlock doors has been a miss roughly 10 to 20% of the time. The entry, lobby and outside appears to be well taken care of. We stayed here for a total of five nights. Our experience was quiet, clean and comfortable, everything we look for in a hotel.

They lied to me earlier today about being sold out for tonight. Funny thing is, I worked with Hilton. I know systems are slow to update but the room I did request is still up tonight . It's 11:32pm. ( yes Guest can still check in) however it's somewhat unlikely being that we are out of tourist season in this area. Also room had no body wash. Not a hard fix but just had conditioner and a bottle of shampoo sitting on side of tub. Either way to end this review: 1. Rooms were decently clean. That's what Matters the most. 2.
