This is a pretty nice hotel, but nothing really special. I would say it is a lot like a Townplace Suites by Marriott... Except they have no snacks to purchase. The staff was nice and helpful. We stay in hotels year round (mostly in Marriots as we travel with a company that uses them). We were encouraged to stop here during travel time due to the enthusiastic reviews on yelp. The room is clean and nice and the bed is comfy... But that's about it. And I would REALLY like some popcorn. read more

Inn at the 5th is absolutely wonderful! The rooms are cozy, beds are comfy, and the staff is amazing! Seriously, best customer service I have ever received. Every staff member was beyond helpful and friendly. The surrounding area is very cute, too! I would highly recommend staying there!! read more

Free complementary beer and or wine for me and my wife yes please. Not a bad way to start our hotel stay. Then to be suprised by anniversary treats/gifts was rather amazing. Place was great, best hotel experience i have had. Highly recommended. read more

A last minute pit stop on our road trip up North.. Great place... Very nice room and the sheets, comforter and towels are to die for.. Seriously!!! So soft its amazing... We will be back and honestly I may call and buy some sheets once I get home. read more

We arrived at the hotel at 1:30 am after 6 hours of driving. Valet attendant and reception were outside as they were waiting for us. They greeted us by name and in matter of few minutes they had us in our awesome room. Room was extra clean and very comfortable. Next morning, we took a walk around the hotel and surprised to see so many small restaurants and shops. BTW, we made our reservation right after we started our long drive. If you have to spend time in Eugene, I suggest you stay at Inn at the 5th. read more

This was the most amazing experience! Staying at Inn At the 5th was just that, an experience. The staff was perfection. I felt they treated us like royalty. The room was spotless and so comfy. The fireplace. The robes. The bed made for a great night's sleep. The luxurious transportation from the airport was there upon our arrival. I can't say enough about the staff. They were so welcoming and professional. It would be nice to have an Inn At the 5th to accommodate us on all our travels. I highly recommend this exceptional property, without hesitation. read more

This is a really awesome hotel. I don't know if my travels will ever bring me back to Eugene but if they do, I know where I'm going to stay. The room layout is basic but there are all kinds of little quirks that make it unique such as a butler's door for room service and a sliding door to enter the bathroom. There are also the little touches that make you appreciate the place such as there forming a hand towel into a pocket for your toothbrush, toothpaste and whatever else will fit. It's location is great as it's very close to a walking trail that I think is about 4 miles long and follows the river--excellent way to work off the food you get from attending professional meetings. As it's a boutique hotel, there are also a lot of boutique shops that are part of the complex. Everyone is very friendly and I enjoyed every minute at the place. This place is hard to top. read more

If I could give six stars I would. Amazing customer service. Beyond amazing. Hand written notes from staff, great rooms, complimentary wine on check in. So nice to finally have a nice place to stay when watching duck games! read more

I loved this place! It was so cozy and comfortable! Great location too. The room I shared with my boyfriend was fresh and light. There was a fireplace, a desk, a coffee station, and a nice couch along with our comfy bed in the room. We both enjoyed the stay and will come back if we're ever in the area again. read more

Stayed in a room with a fireplace and hot tub which was nice, but there was a window almost at street level that you could see everyone walking past - could have used half curtains or shutters so you could have light with more privacy. Many things were complementary such as water, and even wine (which we declined). The train was very close and a bit loud. The most disappointing thing was that the complementary shuttle to the airport was not available until after 7 am which meant we had to pay for a cab. Having the shuttle was part of why we stayed in an expensive and upgraded hotel. The front desk clerk also did not let us know the shuttle wouldn't be available until we were in the room. Granted, they did call and order a cab for us which was nice. It would have been nice if they paid the fee, but they did not. Also, my husband tried to schedule a massage ahead of time online and picked the wrong day. It would have been nice if the spa would have tried to fit him in, or offered another treatment, but they did not. All in all, nice but not the tremendous experience we expected. read more

Love it here! It's so cute, and very comfy. Everyone is so friendly. Love all the shops, and cafés. We're passing through, I'm bummed that I'm here only one night. The price may be high compared to a Holiday Inn, but it's a way different experience. I'm a frequent traveler, no stranger to hotels. I really like this one, and recommend staying here. If I ever come to Eugene again, this is where I'm staying. read more

We spent a couple of nights here for a wedding. The location is perfect, it's very close to everything and easy to access. The room was extremely clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable and the shower was awesome! The art around the hotel is quirky and interesting. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and they also have a shuttle available for short trips around town. It was a Mercedes and was a pretty nice ride, a far cry from the worn out fifteen passenger van I was expecting. The parking situation is kind of ridiculous, the lot adjacent to the hotel only allows for three hour parking most of the day because the hotel is attached to businesses, which basically forces you to have to valet your car. While it didn't take too long to get the car, it seemed really silly when you have a parking lot right there and you can't really use it. This was my only issue with the establishment. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Eugene. We would stay there again and really enjoyed our visit. read more

Great rooms. Extremely helpful staff with exceptional service. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. After we checked out we had to wait of our vehicle to get finished up at the mechanics and they let us store our luggage and shuttled us around Eugene while we were killing time. read more

Really enjoyed our brief stay. Decor great, location convenient, food access so good. Service folks could not do enough...although our requested wake up call never came. Will be back to explore more and enjoy this 'hood. read more

Awesome in every respect! Excellent and accommodating staff from valet to front desk to housekeepers, and the room was perfect. It was neat, comfortable, super clean and well designed. We stayed in a king balcony suite, and although the balcony was over the parking lot, it had a cute little bistro table on which to enjoy my morning coffee and watch people go by. There is not a lot to choose from in Eugene from a higher-end standpoint, so this little inn books up quickly for all of the UO events/weekends. However, if you can get a reservation here, I highly encourage it! We also loved the proximity to Marche restaurant and Provisions Market, as well as all the little shops in the 5th St Market area. read more

This hotel Is great. It's clean and well maintained. Location is great too! Everything is in walking distance. The absolute best thing is the staff. They are super nice and fun. Conley was fantastic! She gave fabulous recommendations and went out of her way to make our stay wonderful. I hope to be back. read more

The Inn at the 5th has been our go to hotel for the past four years. We love the accommodations, the wonderful restaurants and shopping right on the premises. However what brings us back time after time are the associates who assist us and work tirelessly to ensure our stay is a positive and relaxing experience. We have all been dealing with all things covid 19 the past few months and what we face as the new norm. I witnessed managers stepping into roles as housekeepers, parking attendants and making reservations and doing their best to make everyone who was checking in feel welcome with a smile and professional attitude. They are also missing the rest of their team during this time and it really felt like they were missing a family member. To me that shows the true meaning of we are all in this together. Kat, Anthony, Sam, Emily L, Emily,Zack, Jessica and all the rest of the hard working staff thank you. Stay well and safe. read more

Very helpful, friendly staff! Great rooms and convenient location. We were flying in and out of Eugene for a family reunion in Sunriver. We ended up staying an extra night because we enjoyed this part of our trip so much. Thanks to this amazing hotel! read more

I really don't want to write this review as I would rather keep this gem to myself. From begging to end we are treated like family, at least the good side. Food fantastic, beds soft and cozy, staff always accommodating. Thanks for another great stay! read more

I love walking into the Inn at the 5th and being offered a glass of Oregon wine upon check in. The staff is very welcoming. The rooms are relaxing and spacious. The in room amenities include fire places, incredibly comfortable beds, and Aveda products. The location is walking distance to boutiques and restaurants. The Inn at the 5th adds a bit of needed luxury to business travel. read more

Amazing service, fantastic location and amenities!!! Great place to stay, can't wait to come back!

There is no detail left untouched. From the moment I walked in, I felt a warm welcome. The staff is incredibly attentive and friendly. The room is comfortable and nice. I come to town every year and have stated at many different hotels. This will be my choice from here on out. I really cannot say enough great things about Inn at the 5th. In a nutshell, it's worth it. read more

Best place to stay in Eugene. I love the fireplace in our room. Friendly service, beautiful decor and clean rooms.

Was pleasantly surprised with this boutique hotel in Eugene Oregon. Well run nice rooms with fire place. Great bathrooms and comfy beds. It is connected to a wonderful marketplace and restaurants. Also balcony . Valet device . Great find! read more

Staying here from los angeles. You can not find accommodations or pele that work here in the LA area. The accommodations are what one would expect to find in a 4 star Hollywood hotel... But it's the staff that makes the inn at the 5th one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. read more

Great small hotel, clean, comfortable, nice amenities. Only reason why I am not giving 5 stars is the parking situation should not be a hassle or at a fee, this is Eugene, not San Francisco. Great area to walk around with nice shops and restaurants. Close to UO Campus, short drive. read more

I cannot express how pleased we were with our stay at The inn. Their friendly staff made me feel like we were the only guests they had and that we were paying thousands of dollars for our room. Just SO nice and accommodating, willing to help us with anything. Their shuttle service is very very nice. They drove us around campus and to and from the airport in a luxury Mercedes sedan, all complementary! Our room was stunning and the beds so comfortable and there was a very nice high tech ihome in our room along with a fire place among other amazing accommodations. So close to the U of O and downtown, and the staff answered all of our silly questions about the town. Needless to say I am obsessed with this hotel and would recommend it to anyone. And the dbag who is complaining about the elevators, seriously? I didn't find them slow at all and that's what you're complaining about? Get a life, bro. Also, to the other dbag complaining about the pet policy, it seemed like that room that maybe or maybe not have had a dog in it really affected your stay. Not. Also, get a life. read more

We took a trip to San Francisco over the holidays and stayed in the Ritz Carlton. On our way back to Portland OR. We spent the night in The Inn at the 5th. The Inn not only exceeded our expectations but the service and accommodations were far above the Ritz at just over half the price. Many above average restaurants and bars close by including a wine bar alongside the second floor patio. Four restaurants attached to the hotel: French, Japanese, Mexican and a deli. The best feature were the room service delivery doors. Each room has a small door along side the room door to deliver meals without disturbing the guest. Best idea in any hotel I have stayed. read more

I hesitate to give any lodging 5 stars but this place earned it. The entire staff is friendly, courteous, helpful and genuinely interested in making our stay perfect. The rooms are beautiful, very quiet and lacking nothing. The beds are beyond comfortable. The location is perfect. Eugene finally has a great hotel. read more

For welcoming staff, comfortable lodging, excellent amenities, stay at Inn at the 5th. + a special thanks to Ciara for going above and beyond to help me on a recent visit. read more

Very clean and up to date rooms. Front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. The beds were very comfortable and we slept great. The location is very nice for restaurants and some shopping. We had a room off the courtyard patio and our balcony area was small and not very private. We had to keep the curtains drawn for privacy. None of the chairs were comfortable. Bathroom lighting in our room was poor. If it weren't for these few items, Inn at the 5th would have a 5 star rating. read more

Without a doubt, Inn at the 5th deserves five star recognition. We made reservations for a one night stay on July 4th. I don't think I've ever had such great customer service. All the staff and employees are kind, welcoming, genuine and respectful. We didn't have the chance to experience all of the wonderful amenities but there were so many offered. Our superior queen room was sleek, modern and beautiful and little thoughtful touches truly make this hotel stand out above others. We loved the balcony and being able to sit and enjoy our delicious coffee and morning sunshine. The bathroom and shower was amazing. We had the opportunity to meet the manager of the hotel and he was nice and professional and helpful. The valet service was so convenient and made coming and going so much easier, especially with a toddler and baby! We loved Eugene and our hotel experience and will recommend to friends and family and most importantly, will be back! read more

Clean, awesome hotel centrally located in the heart of the city close to Whole Foods. Great, friendly staff who are super helpful and accommodating. Best hotel in Eugene!! read more

Our small family needed a place to stay overnight to make a soccer game the next morning (and miss Duck traffic!). So glad we decided to stay here. Very comfortable bed, light and airy feeling room. Lots of little nice touches including Aveda bath products, easy coffee set up, and fun "butler" door for easy room service without staff having to come in the room. Complimentary glass of wine for us upon arrival, and non-alcoholic beverage for my son plus snacks. Easy and quick valet parking. Close to everything including good restaurants. My only reason for only giving 4.5 vs 5 stars - the restaurant that provides room service, Marché (which is excellent otherwise) provides only "fancy" breakfast items. My son would only eat the bacon. No pancakes, just "fancy" French toast, baguette "toast" etc. Again, yummy food to us but we had to go out for breakfast. read more

My stay 4/21/12-5/06/12 I was blown away by this hotel. The build quality is exceptional and the rooms are very comfortable. The staff was quite friendly and helpful. Room service is top notch even when compared to big city hotels like the W. I stay in a lot of 5 star hotels and this hotel reminded me of the Trump Soho in Manhattan but on a much smaller scale. Room quality, staff service and room service are all above and beyond what I had expected. read more
