IKEA in Stoughton is the full format version of the store and it operates at a scale that rewards planning before you arrive. We walked into a showroom floor that is extensive, with fully arranged room displays that give you a sense of how pieces work together in an actual living space rather than just on a shelf. That format is one of the more genuinely useful retail experiences for anyone furnishing a home or apartment from scratch. The pricing across furniture, decor, and home goods remains the core value proposition and it holds up. For what you get in terms of design and function, the price points on most categories are difficult to match elsewhere, which is why the store continues to draw the traffic it does despite the time commitment a full visit requires. The warehouse section at the end of the showroom walk is where you collect flat pack versions of the display pieces, and navigating between the two requires knowing your item numbers before you reach the warehouse floor. The click and collect option is the practical alternative to a full in store visit and works well. Ordering online, parking in the designated spots, and having the order loaded into your car helps a great deal. For anyone who already knows what they want, it is a significantly better use of time than walking the full floor. For a large scale furniture shopping trip that delivers value and requires strategic planning, IKEA in Stoughton remains a destination worth the effort.

Huge store, it's like a maze but every room has something to offer. Basically you walk through this huge "house" with rooms on display with everything (I think) purchasable. You can use the app to scan items and add them to a cart, use a pencil and paper they provide, or take pictures like me. Since everything larger is DIY you have to note the location in their warehouse so you can go pick it up after your walk through. I think they also do pick up orders as well. There's also the famous cafe with the Swedish meatballs!! Quality isn't terrible and it's within price budget. They pretty much have anything you could need for a home or apartment.

This place was so much fun. I notice that even teen come to hang out~ show rooms show everything they provide in a functional way. The shopping section is just a whole bunch of trinkets and household items that is useful! Not too expensive either. I came with no plan and came out wit actually useful items that solved random struggles around my household~ honestly hard to explain how interesting some of the household items can look or appear, but they have a use~ Staff was present putting items back, stocking, and very visible with their "hello" in German (I assume) shirts. Come with or without a plan and enjoy

Food Review - Swedish meatballs with fries and peas. It's always so good for $10, but wish the food was hotter. Lukewarm. Ikea is always so much fun to go to. It feels like a new place every step you go. Great place for inspiration on decorating. I own so many ikea products, but my room does not look like their model rooms. Currently they have a back-to-school sale 15% off til Labor Day if anyone need school/dorm stuff.

Good store, exceptionally great staff. Special thanks to Evette and especially Avianna. Looking for the most direct route to the checkout area, Avianna personally walked me to the checkout lane and helped me get on my way. Employees at most retail outlets often won't go out of their way to help a customer in need. Not here. Thanks New England IKEA!

Often a madhouse but I find the prettiest things. And, I love the Swedish meatballs for lunch. Word to wise: don't come here during college move in weekend.

Masks required for all customers (May 2021)

This review update is in regards to current changes made for reopening in a world of Cov-2. A few highlights: Even though the CDC does not require masks for those who have been vaccinated, Ikea still requires all customers to wear their masks. Patrons are asked to continue to keep 6 feet apart when possible. Dining is open. There is a 'roped' line to enter the cafeteria where a host will give you a sanitized cart w/the number of trays you need and instructions on sitting and ordering, which are basically the same as they were. There was only apple juice and water available for beverages during our visit. The soda, coffee and tea area was closed off. Salads and desserts are still self serve and meals are plated by staff. There are some chips, cookies and chocolates on the way to the cashier. Both the food service staff and cashier are protected by plexiglass. Staff were wiping down all tables and chairs between guests. Lots of signs in restrooms asking patrons not to 'linger' in the area, to keep distanced and there was only one sink available to keep patrons properly distanced (this seems excessive as they have about 8 sinks in the main restroom) and the hand dryers are disabled. Two paper towel dispensers are available. The store was not busy during our visit, and they have rearranged some of the displays making the labyrinth follow a slightly different path. Most of the expected items were available although we walked out with nothing on our list making me think perhaps I should have check availability online before making our trip. With so few patrons in store it was easy to keep socially distanced although many folks didn't mind passing 'close by' in the aisles. There was a good amount of staff available throughout the store, although not in every department as previously so you may have to walk to another department to order if you are not picking up your item(s) in the warehouse area. it's good to get back in store (MA did not welcome RI's for a long time) we got a good stretch of the legs walking around the store, the new displays are interesting and inspiring and we got some Swedish meatballs, so that's a win.

Another long line at IKEA, two employees working and close to 40 people in line

Does anyone have a direct phone number for this location? I can only find the general 800#. Thanks!

There is no direct number.

Guys please help me out! I bought the Brimmes bed from Ikea in January and would like to exchange it for the Malm Bed. I've already assembled the bed i know i have to dissemble it but I also threw away the boxes. What should i do? Bed is perfect btw

If you have the receipt you don't need the boxes just the bed and the receipt

Has anyone in the MA area had any good experiences with IKEA delivery? I ordered the MALM bed online and it should be delivered next Friday. I'm nervous about it after reading some reviews... is there anything I can do to make sure it goes smoothly?

I had a bed delivered in Northern RI with no problems. I made it easier for them by having them drive the truck up my driveway and unloading in my garage. I made sure i had all the boxes their paper showed, and I quickly checked out the boxes to…

Thrilled to have had her help us navigate our design choices for our bathroom remodel. The store's selection and pricing is good although they don't do a very good job balancing the inventory across all of their stores. I'm having to drive up from the South Shore to Danvers for some of the tiles. Apparently they don't to store-to-store transfers? Also the order pickup area's staff isn't super professional. They picked our order and were riding the warehouse palette jack, screwing around, which caused a few of our boxes to topple order. We're relieved nothing was damaged but I wonder what OSHA would have to say about that. Also why does the staff here never, ever, ever pickup the phone? But I could return unopened sheets that were not used. These were purchased in August 2025 and altho my receipt clearly stated that items could be returned within 90 days, when I attempted to return the unused , unopened sheets of tile less than 60 days after date of purchase, Floor and Decor REFUSED MY RETURN STATING THAT THE TILES I JUST PURCHASED 60 DAYS AGO WERE NOW OUT OF STOCK AND UNRETURNABLE!!! I was told they'd call me back. at about 1 I checked my email and there was a message that the truck got a flat and could they reschedule. I wrote back sure any time after 4:30 that day would be great. Another email said sure we can deliver after 4:30. At 4:50 (since they close at 5) I called and had to threaten to cancel the credit card payment. Vanity Showed up at 5:15. Later that night I emailed them back that the vanity was installed and when can they come to template the top. It's two days later and two emails later (another one this morning) and a phone call and they'll get back to me. Bill Shea's just gave me a quote for the same price for the same counter top, they'll come next week to template and should have the countertop ready for install in 10 days from that. I think I'm going to dispute the credit card charges if I don't hear back by the end of today and go with Bill Shea's. AVOID VANITY WORLD unless you want a never ending project. 2nd Update: Went to VW to ask for refund for the countertop part of my bill. They refused and told me to "Get the F*&k out". Contesting with credit card company. Looks like this will end up in small claims.

Update 11/8/20: see comments on my personal Facebook page…read more(Maureen Holmes) for comments on Robin Boyce after posting my review there. Unfortunately I am not the only one who has endured a bad experience with her. MH I warn anyone who will listen away from this unethical business and owner Robin Boyce. I had the misfortune to be her client and endure her careless, unprofessional, dishonest and ultimately abusive and vulgar treatment. My "custom kitchen" arrived without the custom elements and with a grossly oversized refrigerator. The kitchen designer blames someone else for a major kitchen error and refuses to fix it! (See photos) I had the exact same experience with the shutters and the custom stair-runner I ordered from her. They were both delivered with errors and missing parts, and Design West has done NOTHING to correct its errors. This is the worst experience I've ever had with another human being, period. I never received an apology on any mistake I swear to God. That's when I realized too late I had hired the wrong person. Robin Boyce/Design Center West scammed me by promising professional results and delivering dirt. Robin Boyce then turned verbally abusive when confronted with her easily disproved lies. (I have all documentation to prove my charges.) This last point deserves special mention. When I expressed my dismay at the errors, delays and lack of accountability, her demeanor shifted immediately from friendly to combative and borderline violent. It was a shock to learn the owner wasn't just a sleaze but mentally unhinged too. When I confronted her in her store after she ignored my contractor's emails and texts, she began screaming profanities at me while hurling insults about my appearance and character, which I presumed was an intimidation tactic. That felt sickening, but it worsened when she came at me with her arm pulled back as if to throw a punch, but thankfully she stopped herself before landing her fist in my face. I feel certain the only thing that stopped her was a possible assault charge. I would feel sorry for Ms Boyce if she wasn't a thief, and if her emotional instability didn't manifest in such an ugly manner. But no mental state excuses her dishonesty, mentally healthy or not. Not a word of this review is hyperbole. I lost thousands of dollars and was blindsided by a venomous verbal assault because I had the temerity to call out Robin Boyce on her mendacity and fraud. I could provide a colorful litany of her actions, but suffice it to say that it involved a lot of obscene finger, hip and hand gestures. Incidentally, her staff just sat there like dummies the entire time and let it all happen. Apparently they don't have an issue working for such a repulsive woman. Prior to my dealings with her, Robin was verbally abusive to my contractor on multiple occasions as well when he asked her about delayed deliverables. Following is an example of one the few correspondences between him and Robin that isn't littered with her F-bombs: "Shut up. Stop talking. Don't tell me what to do. Its not Maureen... its you. I'm surprised guys take your mouth, and the way you talk down to others; I suspect you've been punched a few times." This is the first---and I hope last--bad review I ever had to write. Let this brutally honest review serve as a public service announcement to warn others away from this troublemaker. Do not hire Design Center West. You will pay a premium for sloppy, mediocre results, and the owner will curse you when you express your dissatisfaction. This has been a yearlong nightmare that only ended after I hired someone else to fix all of her mistakes. Caveat emptor!

Robin helped me from start to finish with my new house build. She has done everything from the…read morekitchen (appliances, cabinets) to the tile for all bathrooms, to the stone veneer for the patio. Even during the pandemic she has been on top of things and instructing me to get things ordered prior to shipment delays. She and her team have been responsible, proactive, and truly professional. They are communicating with my contractor and his team and his cabinet installer told me it was such a pleasure working with them he would like to do more jobs with them. Any mistakes (Fedex dropped a vanity and it cracked) were handled quickly and replaced at no cost to me. Her attention to detail is incredible. Additionally, she was very focused on saving me money and making sure I was not buying things I did not need. It has been a true pleasure working with Robin and her team again. I cannot say enough good things about them!
