The gent going through bills off to the side was a bit brusque, but the lady at the register was very sweet. They quoted an *extremely* reasonable price for the fix. They said it might take two weeks, but they got it done in one. And my lamp is back to its healthy, non-shocking ways. Go there. And bring your poor, your tired, your huddled lamps, yearning to be fixed.

Finally it dawned on me that there's people out there who fix these things - I took it to Appleton, and the rest is history. They are incredibly nice there, and while they said it would take a few days to fix, it turned out they were able to sneak it in between larger projects and the lamp got repaired by the next day. Not bad! Basically, I would say that they were very knowledgeable, extremely welcoming and affable people with excellent customer service, and as far as I can tell, they charged a reasonable price. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again as they certainly have earned a repeat customer (just hoping that I won't have any more broken lamps, haha).

The location is also very convenient, as it's in a large plaza with several other great stores nearby. My only real criticism is the clearance section. It seems fairly limited at this particular location, especially compared with other HomeSense locations I've visited where the clearance sections are much larger. I also feel that some of the clearance pricing here is still higher than I would expect. For example, I saw a large rug originally priced at $600 that had a significant hole in it--large enough that it looked like two sizable pieces were missing. It was marked down to $400, which, in my personal opinion, still seemed quite high for a rug with that substantial of a defect. Overall, I really like this HomeSense and will continue to shop here. I just wish there were more clearance items and that the markdowns reflected the condition of heavily damaged merchandise a little more.

The quality of goods sold here is outstanding, when I moved years ago, I bought a TON of new furniture here and some from other places (IKEA and Bob's). Everything I purchased here (mostly chairs, tables, a TV stand, and a bed) actually has lasted and is still in great condition. Everything from IKEA and Bob's has been replaced since purchased. The owner is friendly, kind, and interested in helping his customers find the best products for them. The variety of everything "wood" is considerably larger than anywhere else I have been to and they will always have something decent and useful for your house / apartment. Prices are less than they should be, and in the back of the store is a whole area of just random stuff that you wouldn't normally think would be in a furniture store. What they don't explain to you during purchase is that the installers are not vetted contractors who don't understand plans, don't allow you to take photos of their poor work quality during installation, will hide cracks in cabinets they cause, and then will ask for hundreds of dollars as a tip and to remove boxes. Customer service is lacking from ikea. I have been dealing with a kitchen that is only 50% usable due to installation for 6 months and ikea stopped responding 4 months ago. I can confirm I've never seen anything quite like this place! This industrial building (which is a 165 year old mill complex) has converted into hallways of boutique shops filled with local businesses and it's truly got something for everyone. I loved walking by and taking a peak in at everything. My favorite was one particular vendor who had crates of vinyls, and a section of $1 vinyls as well as really cool old school art for sale. There's also stores selling second hand clothing, furniture for your home, purses, candles, etc. Such a unique setup and it's all to spread the local love! The mill is only open Friday - Sunday but I'd definitely suggest checking it out. There's plenty of parking as you're driving in as well as a whole parking lot area in the back if you keep driving straight through.

In addition, I previously had a $400 credit that your managers reinstated in 2022 and specifically told me could be used at any time. During my recent visit, however, Store Manager Robert claimed that the $400 credit had been applied to a sale in 2018. If that were true, why was the credit discussed, reinstated, and confirmed as available in 2022? This explanation is contradictory and raises serious concerns about the accuracy of my account records. What is even more troubling is the manner in which I was treated. Rather than addressing my concerns professionally, Robert raised his voice, spoke to me in a disrespectful and confrontational manner, and belittled me in front of employees and customers. His behavior was completely inappropriate, unprofessional, and unacceptable. Ironically, on the same day, I purchased a new mattress for my son for approximately $3,500. I was told that my $1,598 credit would be applied by the corporate office and that I would later receive a zero-balance invoice. I am now concerned about whether this matter will be handled properly. I am also deeply troubled by Jordan's handling of customer credits. For every purchase, customers receive invoices, receipts, and documentation. However, when returns generate store credits, customers apparently receive little or no written documentation confirming that the store owes them money. I never received a credit memo, email, statement, or receipt for these credits, which is precisely why I forgot about them. Had I not discovered them myself, nearly $2,000 of my money would have remained unused indefinitely, WATCH OUT PEOPLE! Customers should be provided written proof of every store credit issued to them. Transparency should not depend on a customer's memory years later. I expect a full investigation into the status of all credits associated with my account, a written explanation regarding the missing $400 credit, and a review of Robert's conduct. After spending tens of thousands of dollars with Jordan's Furniture over the years, I am shocked by both the handling of my credits and the disrespectful treatment I received.
