This is the only large, decent store throughout the center of town and offers tons of furniture, and basically a "Yard Sale" section with random items that are never expected. The quality of goods sold here is outstanding, when I moved years ago, I bought a TON of new furniture here and some from other places (IKEA and Bob's). Everything I purchased here (mostly chairs, tables, a TV stand, and a bed) actually has lasted and is still in great condition. Everything from IKEA and Bob's has been replaced since purchased. The owner is friendly, kind, and interested in helping his customers find the best products for them. The variety of everything "wood" is considerably larger than anywhere else I have been to and they will always have something decent and useful for your house / apartment. Prices are less than they should be, and in the back of the store is a whole area of just random stuff that you wouldn't normally think would be in a furniture store. Normally pretty clean (at least in the furniture part) and always full of surprises! 5 stars for Woodstuff. I hope they don't go out of business like all of the other businesses on Washington Street.

It was so cute, it looked like little section shops with each section having its own unique style. There was soooooo many items I honestly could have left with a lot more but I had to control myself. Great selection of vintage items and some unique pieces. The prices range but still reasonably priced. The young ladies at checkout were so sweet, they loved the custom tapestry Mickey jacket I made and said I should look into selling a few of my pieces. I really enjoyed this store and I can't wait to go back. There was nothing I didn't enjoy

I can confirm I've never seen anything quite like this place! This industrial building (which is a 165 year old mill complex) has converted into hallways of boutique shops filled with local businesses and it's truly got something for everyone. I loved walking by and taking a peak in at everything. My favorite was one particular vendor who had crates of vinyls, and a section of $1 vinyls as well as really cool old school art for sale. There's also stores selling second hand clothing, furniture for your home, purses, candles, etc. Such a unique setup and it's all to spread the local love! The mill is only open Friday - Sunday but I'd definitely suggest checking it out. There's plenty of parking as you're driving in as well as a whole parking lot area in the back if you keep driving straight through.

I've been to this HomeSense location a few times, and overall, I've had a great experience. The…read morestore is clean, well organized, and the staff is great. The location is also very convenient, as it's in a large plaza with several other great stores nearby. My only real criticism is the clearance section. It seems fairly limited at this particular location, especially compared with other HomeSense locations I've visited where the clearance sections are much larger. I also feel that some of the clearance pricing here is still higher than I would expect. For example, I saw a large rug originally priced at $600 that had a significant hole in it--large enough that it looked like two sizable pieces were missing. It was marked down to $400, which, in my personal opinion, still seemed quite high for a rug with that substantial of a defect. Overall, I really like this HomeSense and will continue to shop here. I just wish there were more clearance items and that the markdowns reflected the condition of heavily damaged merchandise a little more.

chroma design is a unique business. The owner finds and refinishes old furniture in contemporary…read morecolors using a special process she calls "luster glow." The end products are striking and modern, but the pieces still retain the quirks that made them an impressive find to begin with. The prices for painted, contemporary furniture are reasonable, but don't expect the pieces to be cheap. The labor put into them is intense. That said any of her pieces would brighten a home and with their finish are safe for use. Putting a drink on a table, for example, would not leave a mark. I highly recommend the shop for anyone looking for that extraordinary piece to complement their home. The work is even divided into two sections: home and studio depending on price and the piece. Her blog features all the work and she's also active on both instagram (having over 1000 followers) and Facebook. There was no one at the register, and after walking through the entire store, I still couldn't find a single employee to help. While waiting, I used the restroom, and there was literal feces on the floor. It was absolutely disgusting. I understand accidents happen, but there should have been staff available, and the restroom should have been checked and cleaned promptly. Definitely not the experience I expected just trying to pick up an online order.
