I just wish that I could replicate the flavor in the sandwiches that Sarah makes fresh every day. I had to travel from Ohio to Massachusetts for a family member but my son took me here for my birthday and it was a relaxing break to have a peaceful tea which you can't get at any other tea house. I looked in Ohio and nothing can compare to Fancy That !! There are times when you just need to have a quiet tea break without having children yelling or running around in a regular restaurant . Three days before his party the Gods smiled upon us. A store opened nearby called..."King Tut". Apparently the name, "Egyptian Gifts For That Kid That Is Really Into Egypt" was already taken. The owner Ashraf gave us an enthusiastic tour of the store, pointing out a variety of things and explaining each in detail. Hand-beaded Egyptian cotton dresses. Beaded headdresses. Custom earrings. Beautiful perfume bottles. Handbags. When we explained the purpose of our visit, he honed in on specifics. He had t-shirts. He had pyramids. He had hookahs - no, scratch that. He had statues of various Gods and Goddesses. Nothing seemed just right. And then came the offer. "I can make him a Khartouche on papyrus. Just give me his name." The birthday boy's name written in hieroglyphs on papyrus, suitable for framing! Hmm. It was too good to be true! This wasn't just a birthday present; it was a soon-to-be treasured possession. It was perfect! We gave Ashraf the boy's name and agreed to pick up the Khartouche that evening. When our young friend opened his gift he was speechless. He knew immediately what it was and what it said. He just held it carefully in his hands and stared. I'm sure it has taken residence in a place of esteem in an 8 year-old's room.
