It was an old black & white image (from city archives) of my mom's childhood home in Philly. Despite being absolutely swamped with projects (I waited behind several people just to speak with him), Tom took the time to make the project great. He sifted through frames to find ones he felt fit the era of the photo. And he spent more time choosing the right mat color than I could ever imagine. Who knew there were so many shades of gray, and that one shade would really make the difference in how a b/w photo looks?
