And honestly, whenever I'm near one I just absolutely HAVE to stop. I actually sometimes go multiple times in one week because the policy is one coupon per customer per day. And if that is the case, I NEED to get all of the stuff I buy at a percentage off, so I must continuously make trips to keep using the 50% of 60% off coupons. While it is annoying, it's what I get for wanting to get everything I buy here for so little. Plus, whenever I'm using a coupon on sale purchases, it's for the whole purchase, so I buy a ton of stuff then. And sometimes, if it's someone overly friendly, they will let me use a few coupons! Anyway, it's a great store I would suggest for any artist or creative type of person (like myself). I regularly buy canvases, paper, paint, and markers here for all sort of different projects. Plus, they have TONS of seasonal stuff (always on sale) and tons and tons of clearance every day of the year. For specific art interests I would suggest AC Moore or Jo-Ann (all three of these chains have different benefits and downfalls), however, Michaels has the most locations in the area, and is the store I do the most shopping at. Anyway, even though I am still somewhat upset, I have been here many, many times since that experience and haven't seen her since. Plus, Mark, one of the other managers, has been very friendly in recent days. This specific location is continuously well stocked, organized and spacious. Sometimes it gets busy (and so does the parking lot!) but they normally do a pretty good job of keeping the most cash registers open as possible. Plus, they never get THAT busy. I was in the Westwood Michaels a few days before Christmas and they had all of their registers open and the line was still out of queue! It was crazy. Since this store is getting better, I'll raise it to a 3.5 star review for now..... however I'm still as happy with this store as the one in Westwood.

The woman asks if I was using credit or debit? I said debit. She points to the 'self-checkout' and says I can use that and if I have a problem she's here. So, while Michaels pays two employees to stand around and chat, they make their customers ring their own order up?! This is so ridiculous rude and absurd in any sense of retail and customer service. Why bother paying employees.
