If I could give Tom more than 5 stars - I certainly would. Finally....finally... a home improvement person in Massachusetts who actually shows up and does what they say they will do. I had Tom come out to give me an estimate for a number of small jobs around the house that I needed to get done before putting the house up for sale...some painting, repairing a sticking door, replacing a towel rack that I tried to do myself and royally screwed up, replacing a small deck outside the back door and some patching and painting of drywall that had cracked. First, Tom showed up exactly on time for our appointment for the estimate - first very good sign since my experience with contractors/handymen is that they work on their own time. Tom was super nice and very friendly. He looked at all the work I needed done and took notes. We had a nice conversation and I immediately felt comfortable with having him in my home to do the work without me being there. When the estimate came in it was more than fair for the work to be done. I accepted his estimate and we set for him to start on Monday. Again, based on my past experience, I really didn't expect him to show on Monday, but he did and got a lot of the work done. I was so pleased when I got home and saw how much he had done and that he worked very cleanly. Tom came back on Tuesday to finish up and everything is perfect. The work is high quality and you can't even tell any work was done in the places he fixed/repaired. I could not be more pleased with the great job that Tom did and I would recommend him to anyone and will definitely call him again should I need any work done. read more

Tom replaced the corner boards on my house after woodpecker damage. He also painted them and coordinated with the power company to shut down the power so the board the power was attached to could be replaced. He has great pricing, is very prompt, professional, and an all around good guy. He made a second trip for no extra charge after the power company didn't show up when they were supposed to.
