There is a nice mix of items, very well decorated and there are even some clothing items for sale. It was the sort of browsing that makes you smile and feel happy even if you did not find your item. There is an excellent mix of furniture, artwork, decor and signs. People love signs. Plenty of parking and not the sort of shop that smells musty or makes you sneeze. They have a good selection of gently loved as well as new clothing some toys and assorted other items I have found a couple things for myself in the past but like I saidI always go in there for the selection of children's items. The staff is always friendly and helpful if they are not busy they go out look on the floor with you for something or they'll take your information down and call you if something comes in once in a while you're really looking for. Before Covid I used to be in there once every two weeks because I worked right here in Bridgewater but then Covid came and now I haven't worked here in a year plus and now I'm back not working but visiting the town and I'm so glad that my favorite consignment shop is still doing business. For context, it was my first time consigning with this store, so I had some questions regarding their process because it seemed a bit disorganized to me. Having also read their recent reviews, I wanted to heed the warning and ensure I would not be cheated on my fair share. My questions were met with an unwarranted amount of attitude and I was severely off put by this. I decided not to consign and took my things with me as I believe the other reviewers when said they felt there was dishonesty after this first hand experience. However, one positive thing to note is they were easy going with jewelry and accepted almost all the clothes.

And having read some of the earlier reviews, I was prepared for this place to sell $200 scarves and candles. That being said, Nest does indeed sell high-end merch like jewelry. It would not be out of place in the South End. The walls were full of art from a local photographer that was amazing, but I don't have $325 to drop on a 24 x 8 inch panel right now. It's definitely one of the best-smelling stores I have ever been to, but the most expensive candle was $48, not two bills. However, there was a pretty sizeable selection of "reasonably priced" items, like $24 scarves, wine racks on sale, little foodstuff items, hair accessories. I ended up picking up two $12 leather-and-studded headbands which were cool. It's definitely the kind of place where you're either shopping for yourself or a woman whose taste you know really, really well. Because you're dealing with a home store with an independently-curated selection of stuff, the gifts aren't safely generic like Pottery Barn or Williams-Sonoma--I hope that makes sense. I really have a bias against indifferent customer service. So the only serious ding was that the woman behind the counter basically did not acknowledge or speak to me until I asked if I could put the headbands at the register while I shopped some more--she was sweet as could be and chatty after that. There was only one other customer in the store, who also got ignored until she made a purchase. I don't like feeling like I have to pay to get a hello out of someone. The owner (I'm assuming - she's the same woman every time I'm there) is very friendly and I love the relaxed chat I have with her when I'm in there.
