The outdoor dropoff does not look very organized. I would have preferred if they kept some clear plastic bins instead so rain and snow would not ruin donations. One stop shop! I always stop by, as this store was recommended to me by a friend. There is a plethora of items here beyond clothing: trinkets, cds, purses, household items, small furniture, etc. The store is smaller, but the women working here are always on the move, tidying and ensuring that the space stays near perfect. The staff are incredible and very sweet. One of the younger women who works here named Kaitlyn is always there when I stop by; she is such a darling worker, and you can tell she loves what she does. Personable experiences like these makes me that much more inclined to return. Make an effort to stop by if you're in the area! read more

Bought an omelet pan, that was intact when I placed it in the blue storage tubs near the Framingham check out. Heard a noise, and thought something fell; but couldn't locate anything. They always rush you in there (closing in 15 minutes/dressing room closing), and I felt pressured to check out instead of looking for what I thought dropped. Paid for my pan. When I brought it home, noticed a screw missing. Called the store multiple times, no answer. When I went to the store, the main lady with the glasses in Framingham was yelling at me from the counter, refused to come to the door and kept yelling "we are closed, come back on Tuesday". I explained that I attempted to call several times after I left about a pan I bought. I recalled the noise I heard earlier in their store, and that must have been the screw falling out of the pan. The main staff woman was argumentative and challenged me and said that "how do I know you didn't do that once you left the store?" She refused to check (crappy service right there!). The reason I went back is they offer no refunds, and I knew if I came back on Tuesday they would accuse me of doing something to cause the screw to go missing. I have to wonder if they would have reacted the same if I left my pocketbook there? The pan was useless to me as is. You can't flip it to make omelets, and I never would have bought it had I known it was broken. I asked if I could just go in and check quickly where I thought it was, and she stated safety concerns which were ridiculous (FTR, I am a 58 year old female) I knew by Tuesday that the screw would be gone, swept up by the cleaning staff. I have been a Customer for years, and donated countless items to help support the Metrowest Humane Society. When I said I would leave a review online, she honestly didn't seem to care and was very unhelpful. This place needs to get staff in charge who value customer service. The have lost a customer based on rotten customer service over a less than $3.00 screw. Updated: We got a phone call from the owner on Tuesday morning and we received the screw back that had fallen off in the shop as I had suspected. If you have materials that could be monetized on Ebay or Facebook marketplace, but you don't have the time, take them to Sister Thrift. The drop off is easy and outside. Remember, they don't want your junk. Just bring them the stuff you think could be sold so they can raise money to help the shelter. If it is ripped, stained or damaged, don't make it their issue. read more

Great little "hole in the wall" thrift shop. Despite being on the smaller side they have a great array of ever-changing inventory. Their prices are very reasonable in my opinion especially when compared to the sky rocketing costs at other thrift shops. You can find some real hidden gems at this thrift shop! Staff are friendly and very hard working. Be sure to ask about the rewards punch card if you plan on shopping regularly. read more

Love this store. It's cozy and clean and usually not super packed like Watertown so you can actually shop. The holiday decor is dependably amazing and there's lots of vintage (my fave) to be found. Looks can be deceiving, although not excited going in at first they pack a lot into a small space. and are a great gem spot. Really hard to find because it is advertised on Rte. 9 but is actually on the backside of the buildings that face Rte. 9 next to McDonalds. Not really a great way to get in and out here with the traffic. Being on the backside of the building they kind of look like an area that wouldn't be open where trash gets picked up on the backside of the building. Great stuff in here, lot of stuff in a small space and if you are going by worth the stop. Donations support local humaine societies so you don't need to worry about your money going to pay greedy corporate exec's. read more

This place is awesome. A little hard to find (you cannot see it from Route 9W)...it's BEHIND the strip mall just beyond McDonald's. Turn right off of Route 9W at the 1st street past McDonald's, turn left at first opportunity into their parking lot. Somewhat bigger (and less claustrophobic) than the Sister Thrift in Watertown. A constantly changing array of great stuff at very reasonable prices PLUS all profits go the Metrowest Humane Society. A WIN WIN! read more

This place is small but great! Unlike places like Saver's these days, Sister Thrift has fair pricing and regularity of pricing. Though the items run a little more expensive than pre-Covid larger thrift stores, you're looking at $8-$10 for anything and everything. Larger thrift stores are $8-13 usually, sometimes over retail price, so Sister Thrift with their equal pricing for most items is a godsend! The staff is really friendly as well. I visited the Framingham location and was SO pleasantly surprised by the quantity and variety they have in a smaller sized store. My first visit to this multiple location store, I can't wait to visit the Watertown location that's supposed to be bigger. Now about the Framingham location, many reviews mentioned the variety and how nice all the workers were, I wondered if maybe they were friends of the workers?? Nope, ALL wicked nice ladies that were working my first day, and then I returned 2 days later wishing I had grabbed a nightgown I had seen. And of course it was gone :-/ but that next visit that woman was just as kind as the others. This kind of service is a huge plus now a days with customer service being nearly not existing. I am not really a huge fan of thrift stores, but when I walked into Sister Thrift, I was pleasantly surprised! It is a small store, but organized and loaded with decent stuff you may not even realize that you need. I ended up buying a DVD player for $10... it came with the clicker and works perfectly! The staff was very friendly and this store also take donations, so it's a good place to bring things that you don't want/need/use/wear anymore! A new, clean and well kept thrift shop on Rt. 9. I stopped in earlier this afternoon in hopes of selling some of my gently worn J.Crew and Free People apparel. Unfortunately they don't purchase clothing, but both employees were incredibly helpful in referring me to other places where I would have better luck. For the short amount of time I was in there it looked very well kept and organized. It was like walking into some bodies basement and finding all kinds of neat little collectibles, clothing, antiques and electronics. I would have given it 5 stars had I actually had a chance to buy something today and poke around a bit more, but I will definitely be back and would recommend it to others in the area. read more

What an awesome find! I've been trying to check this place out for some time now, but their hours and my work schedule don't mix well. Yesterday, I finally made it in for an hour of browsing which totally wasn't enough time, but I walked out with some pretty awesome stuff! It's laid out pretty well and the clothes are actually separated by size so it makes it easier to look through stuff which they have a lot of. Staff was super helpful and friendly! Not a bad little thrift store, but the people working there could be a bit nicer. They close at 4 on Saturdays, and at 3:10 someone starting shouting out that the dressing rooms were closing in 10 minutes. 40 minutes before closing? Then shouted out another announcement (same thing) about 2 minutes later. I've been there within an hour of closing time before, and it was the same thing. Just feels kind of off putting, like they're trying to rush people out so they can close early. read more
