The Blessing Barn is a fairly large building that offers a variety of items including used furniture, clothing, kit hand dining room items in addition to toys and other finds. Most if not all items are donated so the prices seemed to be low. I purchased a glass cake pedestal with a dome in perfect condition for $12. The same item at Home Goods would cost $30.

Seating area to eat snacks that are for sale (cookies and bread slices).

Love the bookstore building. Great feel and run by individuals with diverse abilities along with support. Got two kids books and cookies.

I love the displays in this thrift store, I feel like I'm in a high end boutique!

This is definitely one of the largest thrift stores I've ever seen!!!! I can't offhand remember how many floors there is to ponder through...3 or 4 floors. Most of the store is made up into different departments.... furniture, China and dishes, clothing, baby, bridal, clothing, kitchen etc. And they even have a bargain basement!!! You could probably spend hours here so thankfully they have a coffee bar with treats which is help yourself and donation based. The best part all sales help location nonprofits!!!

This is my go to for donating my items, knowing the money goes to a good cause. They take time to display items in an appealing manner, grouping like things and always have holiday displays. The people that work there are very grateful for all you bring and the purchases you make. It's a great vibe.

Woah, that was fun. This is a large space with lots of furniture, dishware, clothes and odds & ends. I just love looking for old china pieces in good condition and this place has plenty. Entire sets of dishes, silverware and flatware, vases in a rainbow of colors, crystal glasses, roasting pans, dressers, hat boxes. So much stuff. We started on the main floor which has a lot of furniture pieces, some clothes, china and crystal. Then we meandered down to the lower level which has all sorts of cooking items, glassware and home decor. Back up to the main level and up another flight to rocking chairs and other pieces of furniture. We didn't wander through, but it looks like there are gowns up there too. All in all this was a very nice afternoon wandering through beautiful and useful household items. So many items caught my eye, but I managed to control myself and only picked up what I really needed. Really.

Love coming in here and seeing all the cool stuff they have! Also have gladly donated stuff here cause I know how hard they work and it all goes toward great causes in the community

I love love this place. Not only is it affordable it is beautifully decorated too! Whatever you are looking for they will probably have it: homewares, clothes, upscale designer items, furniture , prom and bridal dresses!! AND they give back to the local community and those with special needs - win-win!! I use them to supplement my crafting supplies and home decor. Plus some zen time :) as it's visual treat for the eye!

    Nice collection of fur coats

This place is huge, and neat. But it's more like a fancy thrift shop. I would suggest this place if somebody's looking for a used wedding, or clothing. but I didn't see a lot of jewelry The objects that this place are for more home Decour.

Never feel bad about shopping when I thrift here. The profits help so many people. And the staff are so helpful and kind.

Over the years, I have been searching and searching for discount stores and about five years ago, I discovered Big Lots and after my first visit to their Franklin location, I was hooked. I regularly shopped there and then ended up discovering this location that is sort of in the middle of nowhere (but next to the all-time best Dollar Tree around). Anyway, it's older than the one in Franklin, and doesn't have as nearly as good of a layout and selection as that location does. The store in general is very congested in every way. There is very little extra space and some aisles (specifically those at the very front of the store with paper towels, electronics and other stuff of that type) are dead end aisles or aren't large enough to fit two carriages through. Prices are great throughout (Big Lots is known for that!), and the selection in general is decent for any bargain shopper. With that said, the Ashland and Franklin Big Lots locations both seem to have a more unique selection in every department and a better stock in general. Much more furniture at both the other locations and never many empty shelves. In general, both of those stores are also more updated and renovated as well. Checkout lines are the biggest issue with the Milford location though. They consistently have a long line and never enough staff to accompany the amount of traffic in the store. Never employees on the floor and maybe one or two at checkout. 2 stars for this location. Franklin and Ashland are the best ones to hit up for the best deals!

The merchandise selections are sparse and you can get better prices and quality elsewhere in town…read more Usually a long wait to check out not due to a lot of customers but instead because the cashiers are just painfully slow. It's sandwiched between a dollar store and a good hardware store so I'm not sure why I come here but I do every few months. Maybe it's because there is a dunkin donuts in the same parking lot.

Update 11/8/20: see comments on my personal Facebook page…read more(Maureen Holmes) for comments on Robin Boyce after posting my review there. Unfortunately I am not the only one who has endured a bad experience with her. MH I warn anyone who will listen away from this unethical business and owner Robin Boyce. I had the misfortune to be her client and endure her careless, unprofessional, dishonest and ultimately abusive and vulgar treatment. My "custom kitchen" arrived without the custom elements and with a grossly oversized refrigerator. The kitchen designer blames someone else for a major kitchen error and refuses to fix it! (See photos) I had the exact same experience with the shutters and the custom stair-runner I ordered from her. They were both delivered with errors and missing parts, and Design West has done NOTHING to correct its errors. This is the worst experience I've ever had with another human being, period. I never received an apology on any mistake I swear to God. That's when I realized too late I had hired the wrong person. Robin Boyce/Design Center West scammed me by promising professional results and delivering dirt. Robin Boyce then turned verbally abusive when confronted with her easily disproved lies. (I have all documentation to prove my charges.) This last point deserves special mention. When I expressed my dismay at the errors, delays and lack of accountability, her demeanor shifted immediately from friendly to combative and borderline violent. It was a shock to learn the owner wasn't just a sleaze but mentally unhinged too. When I confronted her in her store after she ignored my contractor's emails and texts, she began screaming profanities at me while hurling insults about my appearance and character, which I presumed was an intimidation tactic. That felt sickening, but it worsened when she came at me with her arm pulled back as if to throw a punch, but thankfully she stopped herself before landing her fist in my face. I feel certain the only thing that stopped her was a possible assault charge. I would feel sorry for Ms Boyce if she wasn't a thief, and if her emotional instability didn't manifest in such an ugly manner. But no mental state excuses her dishonesty, mentally healthy or not. Not a word of this review is hyperbole. I lost thousands of dollars and was blindsided by a venomous verbal assault because I had the temerity to call out Robin Boyce on her mendacity and fraud. I could provide a colorful litany of her actions, but suffice it to say that it involved a lot of obscene finger, hip and hand gestures. Incidentally, her staff just sat there like dummies the entire time and let it all happen. Apparently they don't have an issue working for such a repulsive woman. Prior to my dealings with her, Robin was verbally abusive to my contractor on multiple occasions as well when he asked her about delayed deliverables. Following is an example of one the few correspondences between him and Robin that isn't littered with her F-bombs: "Shut up. Stop talking. Don't tell me what to do. Its not Maureen... its you. I'm surprised guys take your mouth, and the way you talk down to others; I suspect you've been punched a few times." This is the first---and I hope last--bad review I ever had to write. Let this brutally honest review serve as a public service announcement to warn others away from this troublemaker. Do not hire Design Center West. You will pay a premium for sloppy, mediocre results, and the owner will curse you when you express your dissatisfaction. This has been a yearlong nightmare that only ended after I hired someone else to fix all of her mistakes. Caveat emptor!

Any mistakes (Fedex dropped a vanity and it cracked) were handled quickly and replaced at no cost to me. Her attention to detail is incredible. Additionally, she was very focused on saving me money and making sure I was not buying things I did not need. It has been a true pleasure working with Robin and her team again. I cannot say enough good things about them!
