After 10 weeks of waiting for our two bed frames, serving table, half chair with ottoman, and couch - it came out to little over $15,000. Now that is a lot of money. And I expected better from Bethany and the team. The reason behind this one star is I am going to come out as a Karen. The people came over, delivered and put everything together. Literally the first night, one of the screws on the bedframe was bent. Now this makes me wonder the person who was installing this was thinking "eh, they wont see this." Guess what....we saw it. So we called them to ask can they either send us a replacement part so we can fix it? No of course not. They needed a technician to stop by. That took 9 days. By the time the technician came, he fixed it under 5 minutes. Wonderful! But again, you could have just mailed it to us. We even showed them photos of what it looked like. So ridiculous. With the amount of money we spent on this, these team should have had an urgent need to take care of this ASAP. Not wait 9 days. Bethany, I hope you are reading this because I will make sure I would never recommend this to anybody every again. read more

Recently my family and I went to Boston Interiors and worked with Kelsey and the Natick team to find new counter stools for our kitchen island. We did find one that we all liked and even had a chance to try it out in our home to make sure it fit and worked with the traffic flow and overall comfort. We are still in the midst of looking for the perfect counter stools. I would always go back to Boston Interiors for their amazing service, kindness, attention to detail and really listening to customers without any pressure whatsoever. Even when we didn't buy from the team in Natick, they continued to help and provide support in our quest for the perfect counter stools. We were looking for a sofa and visited numerous furniture store. We didn't see anything we liked at any of the stores we visited until we stopped into Boston Interiors! The sales person was great and very patient with us (my wife is hard to please!) We picked out a sofa but due to stupid Covid it would be 9 months to come in! If you need design help like I desperately did, go see Loretta Lynch at Boston Interiors in Natick. She did exceptional work for us! She is really easy to work with and fun to talk to and knows her stuff! She took the time to talk to me about my style, measure and take pictures of our new space then set up a a follow up meeting in the store with recommendations for every detail. There was no pressure to buy but she got my style down perfectly and I had a hard time not buying it all. She was also awesome at communicating with me on delivery and coming by after it was received to check that it was all in perfect condition. We ordered couches expecting them to show up much sooner than they actually are showing up because the sales person lead us to believe this. While signing the papers, he heavily emphasized that the couches would show up much sooner than the late September date indicated as the latest possible delivery date. We trusted his word and went ahead with the purchase, believing that the couches will show up in early September. Next time, you should be honest with customers and not make any false promises off the record and then do nothing to address it except point to the paperwork. Very dishonest and poor service. When I called to ask about it, the associate on the phone was dismissive and said she would ask her manager and follow up. I never got a call back. While I really like their furniture, and their sales people are nice, I am giving this business only one star because they of the way they are handling a mistake that they made. I am the kind of person who understands that businesses will make mistakes (I worked in retail for a long time). What I care about, is that when a mistake is made, the business rectifies it. Unfortunately, Boston Interiors is not doing this. Here is what happened: We special ordered some furniture on two different occasions (two dates). We asked that the first order be delivered when it came in, without waiting for the second order to come in (which would be at least a month later). We paid two delivery fees to make this happen. The first order came in, and Boston Interiors made a mistake and thought they were supposed to wait for the second order to make one big delivery (even though we paid for two deliveries). We realized that a long time had passed after making the first order, so we called for a status update. This is when Boston Interiors realized they made a mistake (they owned that they made a mistake). They said the next available delivery time was 3 weeks away because we lived so far away. We pointed out that it didn't seem fair to make us wait so long to get our furniture given that they (Boston Interiors) made a mistake and were holding our furniture for awhile. The person we spoke with on the phone said they saw our point of view and spoke with the manager. A week later we got a call saying they could deliver sooner (9 days from now) but we would have to pay another $100 because it was an off-delivery day. We already paid $275 for delivery, so this would be a total of $375. This is when I got mad (I will own that). How can they think it is okay to charge us more to get our furniture delivered earlier when they made a mistake and did not deliver it when they were supposed to!? I also can't believe that they would risk pissing off a customer who obviously likes their stuff a lot (evidenced by the fact that we placed two special orders within 2 months). In my opinion, what they should have done to rectify is the mistake, is deliver the furniture 9 days from now and waive the entire delivery fee or at least cut it and half (NOT charge us more). We are really disappointed because we really like their stuff :( read more

What an incredible waste of FOUR days. Had a "consultant" come to our place to take measurements, then next weekend went to the store - not sure why measurements were taken since we had to take a trip to the store, and the "consultant" just pointed to what was on the floor of the store and said anything else could be special ordered. We bought a queen size couch and took a third day to wait for delivery - how could it not fit if the "consultant" took measurements? It did not fit. We were assured that the full size would fit. We took a fourth day and waited, and you guessed it! Didn't fit. The then tried to sell us an additional $300 service to disassemble and reassemble the couch. Seems like they could have picked up the tab for that after wasting four precious days that we will never get back. Terrible company, terrible serve, terrible experience. read more

Very pleased with our experience of the Natick Boston Interiors! We recently moved to a home in Framingham and obviously needed grown up furniture. We spent weeks looking at several places, visiting Boston Interiors at least three times. They never once pressured us to purchase and the couple of people that helped us were knowledgeable, pleasant and very helpful in getting us the furniture we wanted and needed. We wound up purchasing living room sofas and a guest room set. Things were delivered in 5 days! Super fast! We'll come back again, for sure!! read more

Friendly, no-pressure service. Our purchase was in stock. Delivery within a week. Excellent experience! Hubs and I were dreading couch shopping. We purchased several pieces from Ashley Furniture in Texas in 2009 and it was a headache. We did some research on Boston Interiors' website, which was easy to navigate and we appreciated the "Couches under $999" section. We had a couple specific pieces we wanted to check out. The associate, Sarah, was able to show us a couple more that were similar. I happened to stumble upon one more (it was clear she was about to suggest it, but I mentioned I saw it and liked it). We ended up with that one. We weren't sure which size we wanted. Sarah printed out a sheet that broke down the price, including delivery and tax, for each of two potential sizes. We called the next day with our selection and she emailed an invoice right away. We ordered on Monday and delivery is expected for Friday. read more

My mom and I visited Boston Interiors in Natick because I was in need of a new couch. Adam approached us shortly after we arrived, and was absolutely wonderful to work with. He was very knowledgable and able to answer all of our questions about fabrics, pricing etc without being pushy. He showed us several different options after listening to my specifications, and then left us to our own devices to continue to look around at our own pace. I appreciated very much that at check out, Adam took the time to very carefully comb over the customizations that I had made in order to ensure that my new couch would arrive exactly right. Save your money. Bought a sectional a few years back and it continuously loses feathers - they poke out and even stick into you. Very poor quality. Also found out that Boston Interiors knew this was a problem but they never reached out to us to offer a replacement. (A friend informed me that Boston interiors corrected the issue by using a new manufacturer) Will be going to Jordan's in the future. read more

Have bought two sets of sofa/loveseat from Boston Interiors over the years. Both have had fabric problems. Seam tearing, fading, and wear. They definitely have nice designs and the showroom looks nice but just cant justify buying from them again. They have tried to fix the problems with seam separation but I am just too frustrated / tired to deal with it. I cant recommend Boston Interiors. read more

My husband and I stopped today prepared to purchase two living room chairs and an ottoman. During the past few years we have purchased a sleeper couch, a regular couch and and a chair all covered in sunbrella fabric at this store. We were greeted by Melissa, who from the first contact at the door made us feel unwelcome and that we were bothering her. Not the same experience we had always had with Kelly. Sad to say, we will no longer use Boston Interiors for our furniture needs. We traveled down the road and purchased two chairs and the ottoman with the Sunbrella choices that Melissa told were not available. Every purchase I have made has included excellent customer service, plenty of styles to choose from, and nicely made furniture. Delivery was on time with polite and careful setup. Last fall I went and used their interior services. I had two "young" designers come out and draw up a plan for me. They were energetic and polite and I had great hopes. But their design was so sad I smiled and never went back. Not only was all the furniture excessively expensive.. (I had a 2K budget and that got me a couch and a iron bed frame with head board) the design was almost worse than something I could have done myself. Suggesting that the couch be placed sort of sideways in the room but also in the middle of the room.. It was really quite bad. read more

We recently purchased furniture for two rooms in our home from Boston Interiors. We worked with Serene, who was very tuned-in to our style after meeting with us and visiting our home. We had a goal, but couldn't have achieved it without her guidance. With all the choices of furniture styles, fabrics and colors, the task felt overwhelming because we knew what we wanted- We wanted to love it. We also knew what we didn't want. We knew we didn't want that underwhelmed feeling that can come when the furniture arrives and it's somehow disappointing- not how we pictured it or worse- not comfortable. More importantly, we wanted to feel like our investment was worth it. Serene has a beautiful design sense. She walks the delicate balance of letting the customer make decisions while providing the right amount of options for color, style and price points. She is a gifted listener, patient and flexible...which is necessary when customers like us know they want to love it, but they don't know how to put together what they love. We were impressed with Serene's detailed business sense as well. She was flawless with every aspect of our business transaction from communicating with us, to pricing, to paperwork over many months. Overall, working with Boston Interiors has been a very positive experience, from beginning to end. The furniture arrived during the time frame as promised. The delivery service was friendly, professional and very careful while in our home. We are very happy with the style and quality of our furniture and will most definitely revisit Boston Interiors in the future. read more

We purchased nearly all of our furniture from this store. The process was quick, and Elizabeth, the salesperson with whom we worked was knowledgable and had a keen eye for design. We have now had the furniture in our home for two weeks and we love it more than when we saw it in the show room. Delivery was quick. I've purchased a fair amount of furniture at Boston Interiors over the years (As far back as '87 I think. All still holding up), but it had been over 10 years since my last purchase and I needed to replace a TV armoire with more of a console that would fit a large flat screen TV (yet hopefully still match or at least go with the existing bookcase units on either side). I looked online at a bunch of stores and didn't really like anything, but Boston Interiors had some stuff that looked good, so I stopped in the Natick store (the Brookline store has been closed a while). I found something I liked, but it was way too dark and had glass doors and hardware I didn't like. The store was busy and I had to wait 10 mins or so for the saleswoman, but she apologized and was very helpful. She showed me all the different woods and finishes it actually could be made in and told me I could get solid wood doors if I wanted and silver hardware (everything I wanted). I asked how much extra all that would be.... nothing extra. It was also on sale. She asked if I wanted to order it.... I did. She said it would take 6-8 weeks and would be in by the first week of May (this was end of Feb). It was delivered yesterday! Looks great. Delivery guys were great! They give you a 3 hour window the day before (which kind of means you need to be free all day because you don't know what that window will be) but they said 10:30-1:30 and were here before 11:00 (and had called at 10:15 to say they were on their way). They were very careful getting it up the stairs, not hitting the ceiling, etc. I was very pleased with my experience from start to finish and would definitely recommend Boston Interiors and will be back for future furniture needs. read more

Deeply Unsatisfied. I'm so so sad that I spent our furniture budget at this store, due to sales, quality, and customer service experiences. Feedback for myself: Don't go furniture shopping at 7 months pregnant. Sales: I was on my second weekend of furniture shopping when I (unfortunately) ended up at this store. They were having a fabric "sale" in which you could get any level of fabric for a reduced price. I was made to believe this was an extremely unique, one-time-only sale and that the more expensive fabric was softer, more durable, etc. The sales push was hard, and after looking at lots of different fabric samples I placed an order. I later learned these sales are very common place, the lighting in the store is very different than in my home (the fabric sample I selected looked gray...it is, in fact, blue :( and was highly encouraged by a "designer" to get an ottoman in different fabric. Feedback for myself: Don't buy the day you're there, look at fabric samples in the location they'll be used, and get second opinions on designs if you don't have an eye to interior design yourself. Especially if you're buying your first round of "adult" furniture. Quality: The fabric is a different color than it appeared, scratchy, allows you to feel the feathers through it, and the ottoman had a studded pattern on the bottom that wasn't visible in the store (since I didn't look at it sitting down....though I see it now all the time from my couch). Additionally, the "nice" fabric is warm and itchy on our legs....not at all apparent from the small sample we felt in the store. After doing more research I realized how overpriced Boston Interiors is. Customer Service: I ended up needing to be induced early, so the couch was delivered while I was in the hospital. I barely looked at it for the first few weeks, and reached out immediately once we were starting to get in a routine with the baby to express my displeasure with our order and the sales tactics used. I shared that I had thought it would be delivered before I had a child and that I'd needed to be induced before term due to health reasons, and asked if there was any type of exchange I could do. I was offered an "exception" to the 2-week rule that allowed me to exchange the couch at a loss of 70% of the price. I ended up just dropping it due to being a new parent and having my focus and concern directed toward my child rather than our furniture. That said, my first experience buying "adult" furniture was negative, in part due to my own mistakes and in part due to the sales, quality, and customer service offered by Boston Interiors. I never wanted a return; I simply wanted furniture that I liked and was super willing to own my own part in the mess. It's sad that Boston Interiors is more interested in selling overpriced furniture and closing sales than they are in customer satisfaction with their products. I would look elsewhere. read more

This review is of the customer service of Boston Interiors and the quality of merchandise they carry. We purchased our sofa from the Natick store, but dealt mostly with customer service in headquarters after that. We purchased the Solano sleeper sofa with a chaise lounge from Boston Interiors in January 2015. It was delivered in mid February. Within a week we started to notice the poor quality of the couch. The chaise lounge portion of the couch had a floating ottoman and long cushion that made it into a chaise lounge. Within only a couple weeks of delivery, the cushion started bending where the floating ottoman met the couch, making it lumpy and uncomfortable to sit on. We reported the problem to Boston Interiors and they offered a replacement cushion and sent a technician out to look at the problem. We accepted the replacement cushion, but it took weeks to arrive and while we were waiting the two other seat cushions became lumpy, as if they had the same split in the interior stuffing. Despite rotating the cushions frequently, they looked terrible and felt uncomfortable to sit on. Besides these issues, the fabric started excessively piling. The technician wrote out a report with all the problems that was seemingly ignored by customer service. An expensive sofa we had owned for less than three months looked as if we had owned it for 10 years. The two small seat cushions were flat and lumpy with a break in the stuffing vertically. Boston Interiors customer service was unhelpful and frustrating throughout the process. They accused us of not properly taking care of the couch and insisted that a fabric shaver would solve all of our problems (the technician had admitted to me that it would take me hours to use the fabric shaver to make the fabric look good again). Customer service insisted that this happens to every couch and we kept reminding them that these problems should not happen to a sofa less than 3 months old! Finally, they made the process so difficult that we settled on a partial refund because it was so time consuming. We bought a cheap Ikea sofa and are more pleased with the quality than the sofa we bought for four times the price from Boston Interiors. Plus Ikea has a much friendlier and lengthier warranty than Boston Interiors. Boston Interiors told us they will resell our sofa at a discounted price. I wish I could warn all buyers of the problems we had. read more

The shopping experience was fine with friendly staff. However, the quality of furniture I purchased was terrible. I bought a Palmer Dining table, which wasn't cheep. After we put a couple glasses on it, the finish literally started flacking off all around where the glass had been. So the table is dark with three bare wood patches (not water marks) the size of my hand. I called customer service and they said that the table isn't made to have dishes, cups or glasses placed on it. If I wanted to use it as a dining room table I should use a table cloth at all times. Additionally, where the laminate comes together on the corner of the table is already pealing apart. The customer service manager was not helpful at all and said I'd just have to deal with it. After many conversations on the phone, he proposed showing pictures of the table top to their supplier. Their supplier confirmed that the table top was defective and agreed to send a new one to BI. BI then promptly replace the table top. Hope the new one holds up better. read more
