However, be forewarned that it'll take you a VERY, VERY LONG time to receive your furniture. So if you want a piece of furniture, I'd give them at least 2 months for delivery. For an affordable modern furniture store, this is almost as good as it gets. The space is a bit cramped, but the salespeople are super friendly (they are Russian) and have a fantastic array of modern furniture. Many of these items, if found at DWR or CB@ might be tagged at $6,000 or more, but here you can get an awesome sofa for around $1200-$1500, which is unheard of in this design style. I got the bungee chair for around $200, the same price I would have paid for an ugly, overstuffed desk chair at office depot or something. Location is less than desireable, but everything is "45 minutes" away in Massachusetts. It's to bad hanna b. had such a miserable experience, but the owners were really nice to us. I would set up my own delivery service probably, and stick to the seating like chairs, ottomans, sofas, lounges, etc., instead of wardrobes and stuff. They even wrote us a thank you note in an email after they saw our blog post about how much we liked their store. If you can only afford $2000 or less on a sofa, and love modern style, this is really the only place to go, maybe in all of New England. make sure you set your emergency brake in their sloped parking lot, though. and don't forget to check out the basement for some more hidden gems. read more

Terrible customer service. Walked in and was not greeted by neither of the salesmen. The showrooms aren't too bad, but we were looking for a brand new couch. We actually seen one we liked but wanted a black one that was shown in the "brochure" on the couch (the one on displayed was a white one) . So we asked him if we can get it in black, he responded in a vague, and unprofessional, not-so friendly way, telling us they only have white. Ok, so why didn't you put a sign saying black isn't available or just cross it out in the booklet? Also, we were sitting on a few couch/sofas- testing out the comfortness/stability/etc. and a younger salesman approached us and told us to keep our 1 year old baby off the couch assuming that my son would dirty it in any way- to keep our son away because the couch is SOLD so they need to be kept clean. Can you please tell us why you do not have a "sold" sign on the couch? Or any type of sign at all? Why would you still keep it out ? According to the reviews I've read, it says that you guys take forever to ship your furnitures. Is it because you're still keeping it out on display? Please- if something is sold, it needs to be removed, or have a sign on it . Nobody wants a bunch of people still sitting on their furniture after it's been paid thousands of dollars. So be aware of the stuff you buy here! God forbid they still have your furniture that you've ALREADY bought on displays instead of gettin them ready to be ship to you!!! read more

I ordered some furniture online. The order was pending for 3 days. After 3 days I received an email saying the "item was no longer available". I called thhope manufacture and they said the item was in fact still available I called neo and was to told it was not available. I explained that the manufacturer said otherwise I received another call saying that it was in fact available, but that the manufacturer did not want to ship it that far ( New Orleans) for fear of breakage along the way Apparently they must not pack things well as for some reason 1200 Miles can break the furniture but 200 or so to Boston will not. If only it were possible to give zero stars. These people lack customer service skills and were very rude. The only time a worker came up to ask us if we needed anything was when we were sitting on a sofa that was already SOLD. In other words, telling us to get up. There were no signs telling us it was sold, how could we have known? I'm here to buy a sofa, why wouldn't I sit down on something I'm interested in buying. Well, after he indirectly tells us to get up..he walks back to his desk, obviously uninterested in helping us in the first place. We would've spent X amount of dollars for a nice sofa, but because of their attitude, we'll take our money somewhere that'll appreciate it. Do yourself a favor and AVOID this place. read more

We had a pretty good experience with Neo Interiors. We actually found them on Craigslist and found that they sold dining tables we were interested in for more reasonable prices than we had seen in our own neighborhoods; the only thing is that we had to make the drive to Framingham. We had called to see if they had a table we were interested in stock. Unfortunately, they have a small showroom that doesn't let them display much, but they have tons of catalogs that you can look through and custom order what you want. The salesman essentially talked us out of the table we wanted and sold us another. The table and chairs we ordered came in earlier than estimated and delivery/setup was efficient. No complaints on this end. Pretty good customer service; gave 4 stars instead of 5 because of the limited showroom. read more

Most definitely my favorite furniture store. I have bought a number of things from them through the years including my bar and my dining room table. The modern designs that they have available are great and the prices while still not cheap certainly are in comparison with the designer stores. I also really like the staff who are super friendly and helpful with picking out stuff. While the store is small and they don't have a lot of stuff on the floor they have an amazing array of options that you can order from the manufacturers they do business with. So if you love modern furniture you need to check out this store. read more

Worst customer service. We bought a dining table and they sent us damage table. One of the worst sales associate named Justin. He promised that he will refund delivery charge and he lied. Trying to find a nice modern sofa that would fit into our small and odd apartment in Cambridge was a real challenge. After visiting Circle, Jordan's, IKEA, Boston Interiors, you name it, we became completely frustrated by ugly designs, high prices and low quality. Fortunately, we stop by at NEO where the owner helped us to find exactly what we were looking for. Actually, we didn't even know what we were looking for and he was able to help us with that as well. The owner brought a few catalogs, gave us a few ideas and left us alone to make our own choice. The sofa, we decided on, turned out to be a real gem. I am new in Boston, and it's been extremely hectic to furnish my apartment. I have been walking all over town to get designer and funky furniture! Every where I went the prices were unreasonable and the shipping would take 6-8 weeks which is too long for me ! I have been searching for Natuzzi and Calligaris furniture for a while. It's been frustrating to find that "European design" furniture stores I went to had no European furniture... just the similarly designed furniture that was made in China. Here, I could finally touch and seat on the Rom, calligaris, natuzzi and a few other European pieces. I told sales guy my frustration that I wish I could get this closer to home in California but he cheered me with the fact that what I want to buy will be delivered from warehouses located in Los Angeles and San Francisco and in the future I can buy directly from their website and call them with questions. Also, they helped me to see how sofa, chair and table set will fit into my living and dining rooms by drawing it using my room measurements. Igor and Gary spent 2hrs with me patiently answering all my questions without pushing me to buy anything. This is the first time I'm writing a review for anything because I'm very happy with my experience. I searched everywhere for an Italian leather sofa. I found one that is comfortable and stylish but it was a little out of my price range. Then I saw online that NEO Interiors carries the brand. I called and they quoted a price that is a huge discount over what the other place charged. I was a little skeptical about buying an expensive item from a store I haven't visited in person but went for the savings. I just received the Sofa last week. It is beautiful. I have seen many negative stories about furniture shopping, from undue delays to bad service to bad quality of product. I have experienced none of that. I ordered the sofa mid-Feb. and was told it takes 3-4 months to deliver. I received it in 2.5 months. Just spent a month negotiating and finalizing a Schillig couch with them and after all that time the Sales man Igal and Manager Gary were abusive and decided to not make the Sale! Coupe of the seats came rusted and they have been lying to my parent for over 6 m. Saying we will replace them and they are on their way here they delivered them rusted in the first deliver so since them no communication and my parent called them and same lie all the time shame on companies like this they still exist "people work hard for their money. We were searching for a Gamma sofa and found it online at NEO Interiors for $1200 less than we could find in Austin. I called and spoke with Igal. He sent pictures and we bought the sofa. The sofa was shipped and arrived quickly and in good condition except for the plastic sliders sheared off the legs. Igal quickly sent replacements. We placed a custom order for a sectional with Neo. Justin was our point person. He was pretty clear in communicating the progress and level set the expectations on the delivery time. He was prompt in providing updates on the progress of the order form time to time. The delivery took 4 months from the date of order which was a little frustrating, but kudos to Justin for being very transparent right from the word go. The sofa arrived with a little chip on one of its legs (and so the 4 stars). Justin was on top of his game again, he opened up a claim with the furniture company (VIG) and followed up with us. I had a very good experience with NEO and in particular with Igal, one of the salespeople. Due to a manufacturer error (no fault of NEO), the sofa we ordered was a slightly different color than the manufacturer's catalog. NEO immediately assumed responsibility. Igal offered to refund the purchase immediately and retrieve the sofa from my apartment. He also offered to loan me a sofa until a replacement could be ordered. Ultimately, we decided the color worked after all. (And the sofa is Italian-made and terrific quality.) Nonetheless, to show good will Igal offered us any lamp, fireplace, pillow, etc., we wanted from their catalog (not just their showroom) and even threw in several hundred dollars of accessories at his cost. Throughout the process, NEO was communicative; Igal twice called me on his day off to respond promptly. All this for an error that was not even NEO's doing. I would not hesitate to shop here again -- in fact, I fully intend to. This is an outfit that stands behind their product and goes the extra mile. read more

I ordered two stools Dec.1, 2007 and received a confirmation email & order number. After 2 weeks I tried to contact them by email and phone for the shipping status. No response to either. It took 4 phone calls to get anyone to acknowledge my order. Then I find out they didn't charge my credit card until Dec.17, 2007. So, they never even placed my order until I complained and then lied to me about the status of the order and the shipping. I can understand and certainly tolerate mix-ups, but not lying, and the uppity attitude I got when calling these people. Just because they sell interesting items doesn't give them a license for arrogance, lying and poor service. I'm an architect on the west coast and if this is an example of what it takes to have two stools arrive in a timely manner from this store, then shame, shame, shame. There will never be another NEO Interiors order from me. I'll stick to west coast sources from now on.
