Stumbled across World Market while I was exploring Shoppers World. I never heard of this place up until that second. What a hidden gem! They have so many things from snacks & drinks to décor. The variety of their snacks is  top tier! There are foods and condiments from all over the world! My mom and I have been looking for a certain type of ginger snap cookies for weeks.  I found the Swedish ones and they are out of this world. They are thin, light and crispy. I also purchased the travel size Tajin bottles. I will be back to get more things! read more

What a cool store! It's loaded with amazing home finds. I also love how the whole back area is a mini food shopping section with brands and ingredients from all around the world (hence the name World Market). You can find tons of good stuff here for your house/apartment/dorm but it's also filled with cute knick knacks that would be perfect for a gift. Next time you can't think of what to get someone, come here and browse. I'm almost positive you'd find something. I did buy a rainbow cookie jar (which I loved) but it wasn't wrapped at checkout so by the time I drove home and brought it in my apt, it had chipped so I sadly had to return it. Just a tip to make sure things are fully wrapped before a costumer leaves! read more

Awesome customer service at this location! I recently bought a hard to find flavor of KitKat here. Ordered online for curbside pickup. Order was ready within a couple hours. Curbside pick up instructions were clear and easy to follow. The employee who brought out the order was super sweet and nice. I later pleasantly discovered they had also slipped a $5 gift card in the bag (w/a friendly note) to make up for sales tax (~$1) that the website erroneously charged (MA does not tax food). I had shrugged the charge off as possibly related to the product being imported from the UK or something, but it was really nice that they caught the mistake themselves and went above and beyond in remedying the situation without me even mentioning anything. I love World Market, particularly their specialty food/snack/beverages section - so many fun/unique/hard to find items!! While some items are on the pricier side, one can also find some surprisingly good deals - e.g. quality Truffle salt is a better buy here than at pretty much every other place I've looked at, with the exception of maybe Costco (same brand). So glad they've branched out to the northeast. This customer-friendly location near me is icing on the cake! read more

I really enjoyed this store. Prices were reasonable on some items, like the glass Ball mason jars, and I liked how you could buy 1 or 2 individual ones instead of a whole case. However, some items were more expensive. You just have to know your prices and what you're looking for. I found a really cool stainless steel 3-in-1 lunch box. Only $9.99 and was pretty cute and eco friendly. The section of beer and wine was large but I wasn't in need of any of that the night I went so I just glanced going by. If I need beer or wine in the future and I'm in the area I will stop by and look in here. The things I picked up from my trip here were: - glass mason jars, 3 different sizes. 2 by Ball (medium & large) and 1 by Kerr (small). - enchilada soup mix - 2 dragon fly dish towels - 4 bags of pfeffernüsse cookies (iced gingerbread) which were 60% off since it was after Christmas. - several candies from the UK and Canada: Nestle coffee crisp, Nestle Aero bar, Milka & Lu, Nestle Kit Kat and Kinder Happy Hippos (amazing). If you buy a Kit Kat from this store go and compare it to the ingredients of the ones made by Hersheys sold here in the USA.. different ingredients..and the ones here in the USA are worse. -- The one thing I didn't care for about this store is that they are not consistent with pricing their items! I used to love this store. I originally discovered it in NC and was thrilled to find 2 within a hour away. Went to the one in cape cod until they closed after 2020 and then went to Framingham. First visit was okay.. nice store. Orderly and got a few cute things and the nearby stores were great. Second visit was last summer. Absolute disaster. Cashier was so rude (older man) pretty much threw my stuff in the bag. Was absolutely disgusted and left. Went to a few more stores. Drove the hour and a half home. Open up the bag and everything I bought was covered in jam. The glass jar had broken cause the idiot cashier didn't wrap it. So all my stuff is covered in jelly and the stores an hour and a half away. Email customer service, eventually I get an apology and a gift card that covered my purchases. Fast forward to December 2022. I love the store at Christmas and the next closest one added another hour to my trip so I decided to give them a second chance. Huge mistake. Grab a soaking wet carriage (they can't dry them?) and start to browse. I'm walking along minding my own business when an employee just walks in front of me. Had to stop short and it literally hurt every bone in my body as I have health issues. Take a deep breath and find the Christmas stuff, put a few things in my cart, was trying to look at a display and there's a pallet in front of it. There was enough room for my cart., then I get stuck. Stocker is just sitting on the pallet taking a break. Tugged the cart hard and it comes loose. Told the kid the pallet shouldn't have even been there during business hours. He ignores me. Fine. Found a few more things and looked at the wines and finally get in line. Pretty sore now thanks to the earlier jolt. Get to the cashier and lucky me. I get to the one with no personality. Fabulous. Put in phone number and she rings me up looking like she'd rather be anywhere else. Offers me a bag for a dime. Well yeah I have a lot of stuff and it's pouring. It's just a dime but give the customers a bag. It's ridiculous to charge extra. Add it to your already inflated prices. I've seen your products in 4 other stores at half the price. So I buy the bag. No big deal but the principle. She tells me the total. I handed her the gift card cause I didn't know how to use it. She huffs and puffs and gets this aggravated look on her face. I pay the difference with my debit card. She pretty much shoved the bag at me: had to ask for recipe in case there was an issue. She gives it to me. No thank you. God forbid she tell me to have a nice day , just shoves the bag at me kind of like "go" Very disappointing when you're giving a store a second try. Email customer service. Takes a week to hear from the manager that requests I call her. No, email only. Rarely talk on the phone. Replied back asking her to handle in email. 3 times now. Still no reply. 2 weeks of waiting. Really sad cause I love this store so much but will not tolerate rude employees. read more

What a fun and interesting place. A little bit of this and a little bit of that. Yes, some prices are higher than they should be but they're imports what do you expect. You can find bargains in their spice isle, and a few of my favorite imported wines and beers were cheaper than at the liquor store. Tons of great home decor items, tea sets and things alike. World Market is great - if you have extra hours in your life that you'll never get back scraping the price tags off everything you buy. I made the mistake of buying an entire set of dishes - that's 12 of each: lg plates, sm plates, lg bowls, sm bowls. So far going on an hour. Good thing I didn't get that manicure yesterday. What's a big mystery is that they make labels that peel off easily in 2 seconds. Why do they not spend the extra penny per label and buy these to save their customers the aggravation? Drove over an hour to shop here and spent 4 hours here with my mom - there is something here for everyone! We were able to finish Christmas shopping for almost everyone on our list. The store has everything you can think of, from clothes, to cookingware, wine/beer, food, furniture, and small assorted quirky gifts. A lot of the products carried are imported from around the world, and extremely high quality. Plenty of parking outside in their lot. This will now be me and my mom's annual Christmas shopping trip! read more

Y'all. World Market is one of my favorite stores in the world (see my 2/17/16 review), so when the Red Sox game was rained out yesterday, my brother tried to lift my spirits by telling me we could go to World Market on the way back to CT. a) I did not know there was a World Market in Framingham b) I may need to look for a new job in Framingham Anyhoo. This WM is set up differently than the other stores I've been in, with the (small) wine section in the back right, dishes on the right, trinkets on the left... I was a little confused, to say the least. However - the staff were on point, there were still deals to be had, and they still took a chunk of change out of my debit card. The cashier was amazing, though, and reminded me of a 30% off coupon for members, saving me almost $30. We joked with him that we could live in a WM... and then realized it's true. There is food and drink, bedding, clothing, toiletries, and running water. What else do you need? read more

Cool place. So this place kicked out Office Depot! It's the ONLY Cost Plus World Market in New England,and it is awesome. Super cool, modern-like products and extraordinary rugs and home decor. They also had lighting, baskets, and tons of other home goods. There was a section of food as well, and a HUGE section for wine (and some tea I think too!). Superior store. Superior staff. (A bit busy, but it's brand new, so I would expect it). Wonder how HomeGoods down the street is taking this! Located in Shoppers World, where Office Depot was on Route 9, by the Natick / Framingham line. Pretty good store, very comparable to HomeGoods, and HomeGoods MAY possibly win this battle...... 4 stars. read more

Time to leave 2016 on a high note!! I love World Market. I love it. When we moved into our new home, I was here every week, ok every other day (almost embarrassed to say!!). I love their selection of furniture, home goods, beer and wine and international foods. They have a helpful group of employees and if you sign up for their emails, you get weekly coupons. Considering I had never been to a Cost Plus World Market before, and didn't know what to expect, I was pleasantly surprised when I went in. It's closest comparable store would be Home Goods. I thought the store was clean, staff was friendly, and there was a nice selection from everything from cooking utensils to pillows to note cards to dining tables. Plus, the selection of specialty foods and drinks are fun to impulse buy... hello truffle popcorn!! While some things were really affordable I found other things to be expensive for the quality, but overall, I feel you can get a great deal on home accessories and furniture. read more

I've been a fan of world market when they were called cost plus! That's a long time ago. I went to this store in search of unusual goods. From food items to goods for my home. I came across this world market by chance. Apparently it has opened just recently. The wine selection was almost okay, I guess California world market spoiled me there. But everything else did not live up to the standard I look for. Nothing out of ordinary. The food selection was not unusual, the house hold goods were over priced. To top my experience here was the extremely unfriendly employees there. Didn't get a greeting going in or a thank you after my purchase. read more

This place is pretty cool, my wife was soooo excited that world market was coming to Framingham. But after returning a few times it really isn't that impressive after you have been once. It does has some unique foods and drinks, some cool furniture, and other things but I wouldn't say that is amazing. Honestly the prices are kinda of high and there is ALWAYS a line that is way longer than t needs to be. They take forreevvvver to ring people up. The first time was holiday season and near its grand opening so I was okay with it. But there are only like 4 registers. The other times it's been a slow weekday afternoon and there is a line with 4 people that takes 20 minutes. We have seriously our stuff down and left because it is so slow. Neat product but the lines were way to long on 9/11/18 around 7:05-7:25pm. Waiting for way too long. Two cashiers were on and it seemed like neither one knew what they were doing. I only had one person in front of me and I think I was in line for 10-15 minutes waiting. read more

Stopped in here with a small well- behaved dog who we held in our arms the entire time. We were told to leave. Just more of the no-dogs fanaticism that's so common around this area and almost absent in other parts of the country. It's like Home Goods and Pier One combined into one and at a great price to boot! I can spend hours exploring the store - every nook and cranny holds a unique product. There's a nice herbal tea section in the back and great tea pots & infusers up front. Browse at Teavana and shop here for the bargains. Awesome place, can't wait to go back. read more

Sells a lot of international goods that you can't find in most places--like Fentiman's products and Tyrells chips which are high quality and difficult to find in the states. Aside from all the foreign goodies, they also have a variety of other items from furniture to clothing and more. The warehouse is huge so you can easily spend a long time there discovering new things you probably don't need. read more

I like this place. It makes a nice addition to some of my usual favorite stores in this area like TJ Maxx, Old Navy and DSW. It is comparable to a Home Goods in terms of what they offer. However, they have a little bit more of a world influence, so you will see more decor that would fit in with a Latin American decorating style, or a hippie aesthetic. Some of the items are very reasonably priced. I scored a good deal on some decorative hooks and small serving knives for cheese and appetizers. However, some items are weirdly very expensive. You need to know your prices if you're shopping here. The food is very interesting to look at and sometimes you can score some good deals during their sales. For example, I got a lot of pizzelle here around the holidays that was cheaper than the pizzelle at the grocery store and even the pizzelle at Christmas tree shops. That said, items that are not on sale are probably going to be more than what you'd pay in a regular grocery store. They have my favorite West Indian hot sauce here, but the price is considerably higher than Star Market. Definitely fun to look around here, but make sure you price compare. read more

This is one of my favorite stores to browse for unique home goods, toys, food, birthday cards, and even beer and wine. While they carry so many different items, it is not overwhelming. And the prices are great. Also, the employees are wonderful. They are always very friendly and helpful. Recently my 8 year old son bought a small toy next door at Toys R Us. He accidentally put it down when we went next door to World Market and we could not find it. The staff took my name and phone number and called me the next day to let me know they had recovered it. That was so nice of them to follow up and it absolutely made my son's day. read more

By entering the store , I was greeted with loud music and the further back in the store you went it got louder. A lot of items were not priced and I had to look for a sales person for 10 min, to which she was not much help. Some things are overpriced. Store setup not practical. I had been looking forward to stopping here for a while. Even talked with some girlfriends about it being a part of a full girls shopping day. Turns out I was a little disappointed. Big international food section, beer/wine, and then smaller depts of housewares, outdoor, bed/bath, etc. Some funky unique stuff but nothing you couldn't pickup at nearby Homegoods, Christmas Tree, Target even, for cheaper. Total Wine & Spirits has it beat in the drinks dept. as well. I suppose what I was hoping for was more of a brick & mortar version of the "world market" Overstock.com offerings...hard to find, unique, international goods. Oh well read more

I just have to tell you how amazing this cost plus world market is!!! I was greeted right away by friendly workers who were genuinely happy to help me! I was able to get 6 amazing dining chairs that look just like a chair I saw at another store(crate and barrel) for almost 200 dollars less per chair!! Celeste and the other girls even helped me figure out how to load all of them in my tiny Prius! This store is a gem. I can't wait to go back and stock up on Christmas gifts.
