dark chocolatey pepperminty goodness + gift card!

Awesome customer service at this location! I recently bought a hard to find flavor of KitKat here. Ordered online for curbside pickup. Order was ready within a couple hours. Curbside pick up instructions were clear and easy to follow. The employee who brought out the order was super sweet and nice. I later pleasantly discovered they had also slipped a $5 gift card in the bag (w/a friendly note) to make up for sales tax (~$1) that the website erroneously charged (MA does not tax food). I had shrugged the charge off as possibly related to the product being imported from the UK or something, but it was really nice that they caught the mistake themselves and went above and beyond in remedying the situation without me even mentioning anything. I love World Market, particularly their specialty food/snack/beverages section - so many fun/unique/hard to find items!! While some items are on the pricier side, one can also find some surprisingly good deals - e.g. quality Truffle salt is a better buy here than at pretty much every other place I've looked at, with the exception of maybe Costco (same brand). So glad they've branched out to the northeast. This customer-friendly location near me is icing on the cake!

I really enjoyed this store. Prices were reasonable on some items, like the glass Ball mason jars, and I liked how you could buy 1 or 2 individual ones instead of a whole case. However, some items were more expensive. You just have to know your prices and what you're looking for. I found a really cool stainless steel 3-in-1 lunch box. Only $9.99 and was pretty cute and eco friendly. The section of beer and wine was large but I wasn't in need of any of that the night I went so I just glanced going by. If I need beer or wine in the future and I'm in the area I will stop by and look in here. The things I picked up from my trip here were: - glass mason jars, 3 different sizes. 2 by Ball (medium & large) and 1 by Kerr (small). - enchilada soup mix - 2 dragon fly dish towels - 4 bags of pfeffernüsse cookies (iced gingerbread) which were 60% off since it was after Christmas. - several candies from the UK and Canada: Nestle coffee crisp, Nestle Aero bar, Milka & Lu, Nestle Kit Kat and Kinder Happy Hippos (amazing). If you buy a Kit Kat from this store go and compare it to the ingredients of the ones made by Hersheys sold here in the USA.. different ingredients..and the ones here in the USA are worse. -- The one thing I didn't care for about this store is that they are not consistent with pricing their items! Many things in this store did not have prices on them. I'll post some pictures to show my examples.

What a fun and interesting place. A little bit of this and a little bit of that. Yes, some prices are higher than they should be but they're imports what do you expect. You can find bargains in their spice isle, and a few of my favorite imported wines and beers were cheaper than at the liquor store. Tons of great home decor items, tea sets and things alike. I definatly recommend stopping in once, at least just for a cold Clearly Canadian soda pop!

World Market is great - if you have extra hours in your life that you'll never get back scraping the price tags off everything you buy. I made the mistake of buying an entire set of dishes - that's 12 of each: lg plates, sm plates, lg bowls, sm bowls. So far going on an hour. Good thing I didn't get that manicure yesterday. What's a big mystery is that they make labels that peel off easily in 2 seconds. Why do they not spend the extra penny per label and buy these to save their customers the aggravation? Well why would they when they could keep that extra penny. Thanks, World Market! NOT.

Cool place. So this place kicked out Office Depot! It's the ONLY Cost Plus World Market in New England, and it is awesome. Super cool, modern-like products and extraordinary rugs and home decor. They also had lighting, baskets, and tons of other home goods. There was a section of food as well, and a HUGE section for wine (and some tea I think too!). Superior store. Superior staff. (A bit busy, but it's brand new, so I would expect it). Wonder how HomeGoods down the street is taking this! Located in Shoppers World, where Office Depot was on Route 9, by the Natick / Framingham line. Pretty good store, very comparable to HomeGoods, and HomeGoods MAY possibly win this battle...... 4 stars.

    Great place to buy wine

Then, on delivery day, we learned that our arrogant salesman placed the WRONG ORDER for the King bed frame. When Bob's customer support got back to us, turns out, switching the wrong frame for the right one, with drawers, (which is more expensive than the basic frame without drawers and requires a box spring), would take an EXTRA TWO WEEKS. Then, on delivery day for the RIGHT bed frame, one of the delivery men BROKE ONE OF OUR STAIR BOARD STEPS! They said corporate would handle damages and get the repair taken care of, and they called the support to start a claim. If I could give 0 to negative stars, I would. Because...GUESS WHAT?!!! Their claims department just denied our claim and tried to gaslight us, so they could be CHEAP and wiggle their way out of responsibility and liability for the damage they caused to our property. They claimed that the damage was due to "normal wear and tear" This situation has been infuriating. So the lesson here is, if you want to have your ORDER MISPLACED, then have the replacement DELAYED, have you PROPERTY DAMAGED upon said replacement, and then DENIED FOR REPAIR CLAIMS, Go with the Natick Bob's Discount Furniture.

We said no we want the original one back off the truck because at least that one could line up with the other pieces even if it couldn't attach. We walked into a store that rewards browsing rather than targeted shopping, since the stock changes frequently enough that what was there last week may not be there this week and something unexpected tends to surface on most visits. The selection here is genuinely varied, and the discounts on home goods relative to what the same categories cost at full price retailers are the main reason the store draws the regular traffic it does. Kitchen items in particular tend to offer strong value, and the decor section covers enough range that most aesthetic preferences find something worth considering. Seasonal inventory, particularly around the holidays, brings in items that sell quickly and reward earlier visits in the season. Checkout is a longer process that can wear on you. The register staffing runs lean, and wait times of fifteen minutes or more are not unusual even for small purchases. Weekday visits do not reliably avoid the problem the way you might expect, so building some extra time into the trip is sensible regardless of when we go. For a home goods treasure hunt with genuine savings and a consistent checkout bottleneck, HomeGoods in Framingham delivers on value but demands patience at the register.

The system here is from the 1990's befote the internet was invented. Whatever you buy here, once your credit card goes through is unchangeable. They have no furniture in stock ... everthing in the store must be ordered and delivered. Add $300 to the cost of any furniture you buy for delivery. You heard that right ... $300 delivery fee! Non-negotiable. The worst part ... if you buy a dining set and decide you want two more chairs once its delivered ... $300 more for delivery of two chairs! We (regretfully) bought a couch here and after it was delivered, decided we wanted the matching ottomon. The $400 ottomon had a $300 delivery fee attached. 'You shoukd have bought it with the couch', they said. It's almost like they don't want to sell furniture. The wirst is the total inflexibility of the system. We ordered a sectional couch, which would take almost a month to arrive. Three of the pieces were delivered in 1 week. The other two pieces would be delivered in 5 weeks. We paid one $300 price for the two deliveres since it was the same order. However, when the couch arrived, it looked totally different in our living room than it looked in the showroom with a million spotlights on it. We called to ask if we could change the color before the next delivery of the last pieces came. They told us we would have had to pay something crazy like a 20 - 30% restock fee plus another $300 delivery fee to change the colour. The couch was $4,400. That would mean over $1,000 to be able to change to the different colour. We live 10 miles from the store!! Jordans, Bob's and just about any other furniture store offer a satisfaction guarentee where if you don't like what you buy, they'll exchange it for free! Macy's won't help you. So, now we are stuck with a $4,400 couch we hate. It looked and felt great in the store. It looks like shit in our living room ... and even worse, it feels like shit. The soft, foamy cushions in about 3 weeks of use lose their fluffiness. There is a crater where I have sat to watch tv and when you sit in the cushions, now your ass practically touches the frame below. Read the reviews of Macy's couches and you will see this is a common theme. I'd expect this from a cheap couch ... but a $4,400 couch that now feels like we bought it at Big Lots. Pardon my french but fuck this place. The staff here suck ... they are unfriendly, swarm you like flies when you walk in ... stalk you around the store like Michael Myets while you are browsing and then are of zero help after the sale. Seriously, I hate to give this place even one star. Delivery fees 3x the other stores ... no in-stock inventory at all ... total inflexibility on exchanges ... it's just a huge nightmare dealing with this place at all.

Given the tight stairwell to get the pieces downstairs, we asked for someone from the store to come measure to confirm what we had chosen we fit. He said it would. Turns out it wouldn't so we had to go back and choose something else. Then they called four times for my credit card info between ordering and placing the deposit and the delivery. They actually called me a month before delivery to say that they had to put a hold for the charge on my card just to make sure we'd pay it. When the sofas were delivered, the delivery guys were convinced they wouldn't fit. I told them to take the pieces out of the boxes. They fit down the stairs but left us with a big hole in the wall and a huge mess of styrofoam and cardboard all over the house. One of the sofas was damaged and the customer service rep - when we finally got someone on the phone - insisted that someone had to come out to look at it despite me sending them a picture of the ripped fabric. We worked for weeks to get someone to agree to reimburse us for the damaged wall and then ultimately decided to return the damaged sofa instead of ordering a replacement because we were done dealing with them. When the "white glove" service came to pick up the sofa, after changing our delivery time 90 mins before they were supposed to be here, they damaged our newly painted walls in two places. The men barely spoke English, didn't offer an apology for the damage he very clearly caused with his carelessness, and walked out of my house. Customer service then argued about reimbursing us for both damages and went back on the price they agreed to after the sofas were delivered. Needless to say, we will not be purchasing anything else from Macy's and will suggest others steer clear as well. One of the worst furniture buying experiences we've ever had.
