I was told they'd call me back. at about 1 I checked my email and there was a message that the truck got a flat and could they reschedule. I wrote back sure any time after 4:30 that day would be great. Another email said sure we can deliver after 4:30. At 4:50 (since they close at 5) I called and had to threaten to cancel the credit card payment. Vanity Showed up at 5:15. Later that night I emailed them back that the vanity was installed and when can they come to template the top. It's two days later and two emails later (another one this morning) and a phone call and they'll get back to me. Bill Shea's just gave me a quote for the same price for the same counter top, they'll come next week to template and should have the countertop ready for install in 10 days from that. I think I'm going to dispute the credit card charges if I don't hear back by the end of today and go with Bill Shea's. AVOID VANITY WORLD unless you want a never ending project. 2nd Update: Went to VW to ask for refund for the countertop part of my bill. They refused and told me to "Get the F*&k out". Contesting with credit card company. Looks like this will end up in small claims.

George was nice enough during the order process, but when there was a problem with the product he took no responsibility and offered no apology. Acknowledgment goes a long way, but instead he just ordered another one and moved on. Nothing about the exchange was pleasant or noteworthy. Even now, months later, I still feel unsettled. Next time I'm happy to pay a little bit more and go someplace else. Trust me, there are other bath and kitchen shops that will treat you right. Keep looking.

Outrageous cost, third party contracting workers. Had a bathroom remodel if that is what they call…read moreit. They brought in a soaker tub with walls replacing my old 3-wall alcove tub/shower. I bought pedestal sink, mirror, floor tiles, cove base and ceiling fan. The main worker spoke little English while the younger one did most of the talking. I had discrepancies after completion with drywall screws showing, sink mounting nuts loose, scratched/minor damage to floor tiles. The new lighted cabinet mirror could be plugged in or hardwired, they installed it with the plug coming out the bottom of the mirror and plugged into an outlet on another wall, hanging over my sink and leaving the rusted/old light unit above. I had to remove the cabinet mirror from the wall, cut the plug in cord, bought a replacement light for over the cabinet mirror and rewired them together and placed behind the wall for a cleaner look. New soaker tub makes the loudest sound when the tub drains but not when just using the shower. They tell me that is the way it is set-up. Called the company about my issues, they sent a project manager over who arrived a half an hour late. A day or two later they were sending a crew over to addresses my issues, I waited an hour after the time they were to show up before I left when they started to call me that they were there at my place. The company called me after to set-up another appointment time/day but I never responded because I wasted enough days on them with their lateness. So I will have to address these issues myself. So save your money and do not go through a company like this. I should have hired someone that has been doing work through friends/coworkers for a better/cheaper job. Their designer (Tong) helped us with a plan to combine two small awkward rooms into one bathroom and worked within our budget to give us a much more functional space. Work started as scheduled with Steven as our PM and he kept us well informed along the way, handling any issues as they arose and minimizing disruption to the rest of the house. The NKB carpenters (Michael and Jorel) were excellent and kept things moving onsite along with some great subcontractors for plumbing, electrical and tile that Steven aggressively coordinated to ensure the project progressed quickly. The end result was better than we hoped and we only had one small change order for a late change we made to the plan. We truly appreciated the professionalism and flexibility of the whole NKB team from the design process with Tong through final payment with Adelya in Finance. They kept us on schedule and on budget with no surprises. We now have a beautiful bathroom that we will enjoy for years to come!
