Laurentia from the design department is absolutely stellar. Super friendly, knowledgeable and gets it done. Thrilled to have had her help us navigate our design choices for our bathroom remodel. The store's selection and pricing is good although they don't do a very good job balancing the inventory across all of their stores. I'm having to drive up from the South Shore to Danvers for some of the tiles. Apparently they don't to store-to-store transfers? Also the order pickup area's staff isn't super professional. They picked our order and were riding the warehouse palette jack, screwing around, which caused a few of our boxes to topple order. We're relieved nothing was damaged but I wonder what OSHA would have to say about that. Also why does the staff here never, ever, ever pickup the phone? I needed just 2 sheets (about 12" x 12" each ) of decorative tile for an accent piece in my kitchen. I was told I could not purchase just 2 sheets, but had to buy the entire box. But I could return unopened sheets that were not used. These were purchased in August 2025 and altho my receipt clearly stated that items could be returned within 90 days, when I attempted to return the unused , unopened sheets of tile less than 60 days after date of purchase, Floor and Decor REFUSED MY RETURN STATING THAT THE TILES I JUST PURCHASED 60 DAYS AGO WERE NOW OUT OF STOCK AND UNRETURNABLE!!! Beware of buying anything from this place as everything is "out of stock" within months of biuying it! read more

Floor & Decor has been a Godsend. After getting an astronomical price from another tile place, we came here from RI. The prices as well as selections are excellent. One quick comparison -- I chose tile at the other shop which would have cost $1900. At Floor & Decor we got beautiful tile for the same space for $500. Today, we were helped in Avon by Gabriel In flooring. He couldn't have been more responsive and helpful to us! We have been here about 10 times in the last month and have more trips in store. read more

I had to deal with them and had a terrible experience. I needed two pieces of marble baseboard because the ordered I did online before was just a little shy from it. So I needed right away and their store was the only one that had it. I needed two and they only had 3 so I ordered 2 from the website to secure it then went to pick it up. I had to drive 2 hours back and forth. When I got back, I found they gave me the wrong one. I then tried to reach them and called a dozen times and no one answered. Huge The biggest flooring store I've ever been too. It's a new facility and people say, "if they don't have it no one does." The place is so big it can be overwhelming. From tile to hardwood flooring they have you covered. The only issue is that we couldn't get anyone to help us. In a store this big on a weekend day, you should have more helpers. I would not set foot in this store ever again!! I purchased 65sf of stone ledger @ 5.49sf. Within in a short time I saw it advertised @ 4.39sf. I called the store and they told me that the only way I could get the better price was to bring it back(return it) then buy it again Isn't that efficient????? I then called the customer service center an they told me the same. I will do just that to save $75,but will never buy from them again. It's been a long while since I've been impressed enough with service and knowledge to take the time to write a review. I wanted to specifically call attention to the outstanding care and attention that David Picard, as well as the store manager (Janice) provided. At every single inflection point, David followed up, checked in (by email and phone), and made absolutely certain that the order and job was completed well. He helped me through an exchange when 5-6 of the boxes that were given to the installer were incorrect and was incredible fair and kind throughout the process. There were logistical snags nearly every step of the way on this order (not due to him or the store in any way) and the entire staff and David came together to make it better, more manageable, and less frustrating. It's worth the drive to work with these folks- they know what they're doing, the selection is stellar, and the service (particularly from David), is some of the best I've ever had in a store. Ever. We're in the throws of remodeling our (very) dated kitchen, and despite our best efforts, my husband and I have been unable to "commit" to big decisions like the tile backsplash and flooring. While we were in the area at IKEA, we took a peek at what home improvement stores were nearby-- this one popped up unexpectedly. The store: -Easily accessible off of Route 24 in Avon. -nearby other frequented stores: IKEA, Home Depot, Jordan's Furniture, Christmas Tree Shops. -warehouse feel but clean, spaced out and well organized. -easy to navigate. Aisles are clearly marked. The staff: -we were approached several times by different staff members throughout the store, offering assistance. They have help available no matter where you are in the store! -checkout was quick and easy-- no wait. The cost: -we found that the cost of items that we were pricing (tile backsplash and flooring) were $1-2 cheaper at Floor & Decor than at big-box competitors. While we only walked away with samples, we felt encouraged by the vast number of options presented to us (compared to their competitors)-- styles and finishes we'd yet to come across! Add to that the more than attractive price, and it's all but certain we'll be utilizing Floors & Decor to finish out our kitchen remodel. read more

My review is specifically for the Avon location. I drove over 2 hours to get to this location to get one thing. I knew exactly what I wanted and git there ten minutes before store closing to be greeted to a locked door and an employee who acknowledged my presence but gave me a wave away. First I want to say communication could be greatly improved ... I placed an order for tiles and set up delivery. I was never advised that the product would be dropped on a pallet in my driveway and that they couldn't bring it inside and place in my hallway. I am disabled, I did not want to leave the pallet of tile outside in the cold elements so I had to call someone to come and pay them to carry the tile inside. Upon inspecting the product, there was one whole box tiles completed shattered and broken! I have been on the phone for the last two hours trying to get through to someone to advise. No ANSWER at all!!!! This is unacceptable. My first and last dealing with this store. read more

This place is terrible. I'm a flooring contractor who ordered thousand of dollars worth of flooring on august 4th and was told 7-10 days. We saw a bathroom vanity online and it was in stock, we drove 40 minutes there. Once we got there they told us it wasn't in stock to order online for store pick up. When we got home we went online to order it and it said it was in stock again, only 40 minutes later... my husband bought it online. We drove there for the second time to pick it up. The customer pick up associate couldn't have been any ruder to us. When they brought it out the front was scratched and the back looked like someone had punched a hole in it. We got a full refund and will not be back for anything else. My only reason for giving this 1 star is because the front door attendant Adam was awesome!!! Store is pretty big. Has a lot of selections. Unfortunately, what you see is what they have for the most part, in relation to tile. The design services is a joke. Total garbage and waste of time. The 'design' person (soraya) was totally uninspired and dragging. There is no way she is a 'designer'. Think the most useless person at a Home Depot. I have no idea how she got a job as a designer. She didn't look at what I gave her for photos and reference. This is the Box Warehouse store of flooring products. Great layout, and selection. Great prices. Staff could be more knowledgeable about the Shluter Bath and shower systems, otherwise great company. Saved lots on marble. Mom and Pop tile shops still have some things Decor doesn't have much selection of like bull nose rounds for shower tile. read more

It was my second time here and came to pick out and take home tiles for my bathroom remodel. Janice greeted us warmly and saw we were overwhelmed and called Josh over to help me and husband make our choices. Josh was amazing and patiently walked us through the large variety of tiles for both floor and walls to find us the perfect fit. His suggestions helped us narrow it down and we left with everything needed to put our bathroom back together. Can't wait for the finished product and Josh made it so much easier to do. This is the second time that I shopped at the Avon, MA store and I have to say the service is excellent. Patrick helped me today and he was very well-informed and a real sweetheart. I'm looking forward to purchasing all of my tile products at this store! Location is very convenient and close to 24. There are several other Home Improvement stores nearby. If you have a large complicated pro-service order Asia Jones in the Avon, MA store is the person to work with. She went above and beyond in helping me with a complicated Pro-Service order. She made sure the 4 orders were packed on one pallet, double checked inventory versus order, and transitioned the order seamlessly when it was picked up by an outside shipping company. Asia is an exceptional employee who showed leadership and a dedication to her job. **Update** I want to update my review below to state that I am extremely happy with the customer service here. I went back a month after purchase and they took care of my issue promptly. The whole process was very easy. The tiles here are way cheaper than Home Depot and Lowe's. In some cases, the exact same tile is 50% cheaper. Porcelain is porcelain so it doesn't matter where you buy it from if you are concerned about quality. Just look at the PEI rating when you are buying porcelain tiles. The boutique tile stores have very nice looking porcelain and if you are looking for that, then this is not the place for you. But there's still good stuff here comparable in beauty to what you see at fancy stores. I bought $1000 worth of beautiful glass tiles from this place yesterday for a new shower. Not regular glass tiles but tiles with some detail in them. It was $7.50 per square ft. If you've shopped for glass tiles you know that this is a very good rate. Pretty certain I'd have to pay $16 per sf at other places. (I'll update my review in case the tiles crack or something.) The staff here is wonderful. Several of them approached us and guided us to the right aisles and helped us with our purchase. The store is huge, clean and organized and the staff use up-to-date software to pick out the tiles and check for inventory etc. We were helped by a young lady Pamela -- she was very personable and helped us with the square footage (we knew it already but she still verified it on her computer and made sure we weren't doing anything incorrectly). After seeing the ad on TV, my husband and I decided to go to Floor and Decor for tile for our bathroom renovation even though it is 60 miles away from where we live. Within minutes upon entering we approached by a young lady, (Pamela), who asked if we needed help. After discussing what we needed, she came up with several combinations as she asked questions about our preferences. We came up with a great combination of tiles that I am certain will look great in our bathroom. She figured out all that we needed and finished up the purchase with the grout and sealer. That was at the other side of the store and we met the manager (Jonathan) and another associate (Dylan) who directed us to the correct grout for our tiles. After paying, Jonathan and Dylan loaded all the tiles into our car. We had a very positive experience and the customer service was fantastic! I came by a week ago after setting up a design appointment online. I dont have a very good eye for what looks good together. If i was rating on my first experience it would be a zero. Melissa was not knowledgable at all. she tried to sell me 8 boxes of tile when i needed 2! she also was not very good at customer service. I asked to speak to her boss. Landon comes over to help and he was so understanding and helpful. I feel confident that i was sold the right product from him. he listened to me when i explained the project specs for this project. The girl on register who I have had numerous times and so helpful and pleasant but can only do so much.. I returned product and 6 weeks later waiting for refund.
