Haven't been to this location since they closed to renovate. I like the new updated interior yet welcoming. We tried the new buttermilk biscuit menu items. Unfortunately, they didn't look like the menu pictures. My mom's Fresh Strawberries & Cream Biscuit Combo was missing the whipped cream and cheesecake mousse should have been ladled on. Looks like they had it in a squeeze bottle and it looks like mayo. It tasted better than it looked. I tried the Buttermilk Biscuit & Gravy Combo. Biscuit was good but gravy needs a lot of work. Needs to be thicker to cling to the biscuit. The gravy was too thin and just dropped off. Also needs more seasoning and sausage crumbles would push it over the top. Had breakfast here with my family a few weeks ago on a rainy Saturday morning. We figured it was a good idea since we haven't been here in quite a while and breakfast is usually pretty decent. That day, I have to say the only good thing we had was the coffee and the French toast. For a place being known for its pancakes, they really need improvement on that item. The pancakes were just really dry, even the syrup didn't help, plus the prices are so high now when you dine out-you're better off having breakfast elsewhere. Probably won't be back for a while. I stopped by after dropping off a rental. I have never been here for lunch. The cheeseburger with bacon is outstanding. I tried the onion rings and they are delicious. I just finished having a truly wonderful breakfast experience! I had to bring my car to a nearby dealership early this morning. I decided to find some food while I waited. I walked into IHOP and was immediately greeted and seated by Jose. A minute later, he brought my drink and took my order. He was an absolute joy to have as my server! He is very friendly and seems to enjoy his work. He was great with everyone in my section of the dining room. Every time he passed by, he checked in with me to see if I needed anything. He was quite busy but he did an excellent job! I ordered the Colorado omelette with crispy hash browns. It came out quickly and was very well made! I love the combination of tender roast beef with all the breakfast meats. Jose was very helpful with bagging up my leftovers with a fork and condiments so I could eat the rest for lunch if I was still waiting at the dealership when I got hungry again! I don't live in this area but I will definitely visit this IHOP again whenever I'm nearby! read more

This IHOP location is my sentimental favorite for a traditional breakfast. In my youth, I remembered IHOP sounded impressive as the "International House of Pancakes." Spies must eat here I thought. When I registered for a table and they asked my name, I would say "that's classified" and the server would politely laugh. Today, IHOP remains a popular place and it was crowded when I visited. I ordered scrambled eggs, bacon, ham, hash browns, pancakes, and coffee. The food was delicious and the server was attentive. There is a parking lot and it gets crowded on weekends. Upon paying he was arguing with a customer in front of us as well as other customers waiting to be seated. When it was our turn to pay he was unfriendly and rude. After spending almost a bill here you would think you would get good customer service considering it's the customers keeping you in service. I will be calling corporate on Monday when they are open to explain detail. It is inexcusable to be disrespected by a manager or any team member in that case. The staff and waiters were super friendly and were very accommodating. However, the manager was extremely rude and unprofessional. The AC was not turned on and it is 98 degrees out. Apparently it's been "not working" for 6 months now since the change in owners? Our table was right next to the kitchen which made it even worse. We were drenched in sweat before our food even made it to the table. We politely asked one of the servers to move to a table with better ventilation and the staff said they've figure something out. Our waitress came with our food and the manager was along her side. We informed her that we had requested another table before she set the food down. The manager accused of us of lying and said we never requested anything. It was so uncomfortable that the party at the table next to us jumped into say that they heard us request another table. The manager angrily walked away saying he'd deal with it when he's done dealing with all the other complaints. Once we were finally moved to another table the manager said "there. Hope they're happy that they got moved to a table that is 3 degrees cooler." His attitude and behavior were so out of line that the waitress apologized for how he was acting. If you refuse to turn on the AC on a 98 degree day, at least inform your potencial customers so they can make decide to stay or not. We've been coming to this ihop for years, but won't be coming back due to the temperature and management. I've eaten here for more than 20 years - NEVER AGAIN! I brought my 7-yr-old granddaughter in on Friday about 11:30AM for our weekly IHOP pancakes. There were 2 groups ahead of us waiting for tables, a party of 3 and a party of 6. The hostess takes my name and says "I have a small booth for two ready, would you like that?" Before I can answer a manager barks at her "THERE ARE PEOPLE AHEAD OF HIM!" The hostess just looked down and walked away. The manager then seated the other parties (and not in the small booth for two BTW). When he returns I asked him what was the big deal a why was he so adamant about not seating me. He then started to raise his voice and wave his seating list around. I don't need to pay to take abuse. plenty of other IHOP restaurants around. I saw no one at the sign up podium they have in the front, so I asked Charlie who was at the cash register signing a receipt or something, where I'm able to sign in. He looked up and told me that their was a lot of people waiting and to just stand and WAIT. After the couple on the side of me heard that, they left. But Charlie proceeded to do something at the register and then asked me for my name to sign me in after some time passed by of me just standing there waiting for someone so I can join the waitlist. During this time, my father decided to stand up and ask the wait time since we barely got to write our name in (usually doesn't take long to join a wait list) in which Charlie looked at us and stated he doesn't know the wait time. He couldn't even provide an estimation because as he said, people keep coming and going, calling friends and sitting back down. There were booths empty... & the reason the seating at the lobby was full was because there was a party of eight.. after they got up there was no one. I understand businesses get busy and what not but addressing a customer that is trying to sign in, in a rude and unfriendly manner to WAIT, wasn't the way to go about it. I worked in customer service for YEARS & have never addressed a customer this way. It was possibly because I'm a young adult. He ended up sitting my party 5min later after my father asked numerous times how long the wait would be. He never gave us an answer but we were sat down shortly after. Come on! If he would've told me to hold on a couple of minutes and that I would've been helped shortly, I would've been content. But he talked to me in a manner of no respect as if I was a child waiting for a game in the arcade or something. Be respectful to all & if your in a manager position, address everyone in a friendly/ positive attitude! We're going to this establishment to spend money and have a good time! At first I thought it was the toothpick that held the burger together but once I removed it I quickly realized I was biting something else.
