This is a my go to location for El Pollo Loco. I've come here multiple times for dine-in and mobile pick up orders. The staff here always has friendly interactions and make you feel welcomed. The drive-thru is very fast and efficient. The locations also offer outdoor patio seating and plenty inside seating for customers. The location is well kept and clean. My usual order is the $6 pollo bowl. They make it fresh and are not stingy with the amount of chicken. My wife and I frequent this location often when we redeem deals from the El Pollo app! Prices have increased, and container sizes are slightly smaller, but my family and I remain fans of El Pollo Loco; we just don't visit as often. The employees at this location have rarely made any mistakes on my orders through the drive-thru. Both the inside and outside of this location are very well-maintained and clean. It was quiet with steady foot traffic on Black Friday. They play 50s music over the loudspeaker for an interesting vibe. I always order the 2-piece meal (leg & thigh) with pinto beans and coleslaw - this was tasty as expected and fresh. Good selection of fountain drinks. Handy napkins at the table. I am at Pollo Local at least 3-4 times a week and know almost everyone there. Unfortunately I had a terrible experience today with ANNA. I am not sure if she is a supervisor or what her position is, but she lacks a great deal of customer service. I asked her for a container of salsa, instead of me asking for 20 individual tiny salsa containers. I have always ask for this in the past and never had any issues with any other staff member. I order 24 pcs of chicken, I was not asking for something that the meal does not come with !!! THE MEALS COME WITH SALSA!! I ordered a hard shell taco it was broken so they just put another broken shell over the first shell it was also freezing cold. I asked for 5 salsa Fresca's they gave me the avocado one. Came to this new location and was pleasantly surprised by their friendly service and quality. I ordered the eight piece, and was expecting it to be complemented with only two sides, but the guy taking the order told me that I get to pick three as it was the family meal deal which comes with three sides - a deal which I would have completely missed if he had not told me. The meats (dark) came piping hot and nicely browned but not burnt. Perfectly juicy still. Location is new since December but still looks very clean and neat. And music is good too, love the oldies. I had some expectations for this locations since it's brand new but fast food is fast food. You can't ever expect much. I purchased $40 with of food via drive thru on 12/22. Once I got home I noticed the majority of our meal was missing. We ordered 2 pollo for bowls, small rice and an order of churros. The rice and churros were fine, the salads were not. Majority of the protein and toppings were missing. I decided to call and spoke to a younger gentleman man who took my name down and the order. He stated to come in for a refund. Today 12/26 I arrived for my refund in store. There was a guest in front of me being helped by Gaby. Once gaby finished she walked away although I had been waiting. At this point 4 other workers (Ana, Gaby, Fabiola and Rosario) were standing there until one of them wanted to help. They proceeded to ask the same question as the gentlemen on the phone. Got food from here last night, and it was terrible... i understand its fast food, but the moment i walked in, another customer was leaving furiously telling us to check our food because apparently, you kept giving them the wrong order or were missing stuff. I thought they were just exaggerating. However , i also noticed that the majority of your employees in the back were more hanging out than actually working. I ordered an 8 piece meal with 2 large sides of coleslaw and mash potatoes. When i got home, i was missing 2 pieces of chicken, and my large mash did not come with any gravy, and instead of coleslaw, ya'll gave me corn... I ordered some chicken today and asked for some house salsa. When I got home, everyone at the table agreed the salsa was rancid. I simply called to inform them that their salsa was rancid. Was not expecting anything- simply informing them! Aldrin (sp) who allegedly is the manager was "assisting" me with my concern. He was VERY rude and unprofessional. Places me on hold to go and taste the salsa he claims. Comes back and tells me the salsa is good. He proceeds to tell me "what is that you want. The salsa is good. " he would not let me speak and kept interrupting me. I told him I was unable to speak since he kept speaking over me. I said "I can't get anywhere with you as you do not let me speak, I will just call corporate" he replies "you can call I don't care. I'll tell them the same thing, that the salsa is good.
