I ordered the eggs Benedict with ham and the ham was not good. It tasted like it was expired. They offered to change the plate for another one so I asked for the poblano Benedict. They brought the new ones but it felt like they just took the ham out and replaced it with the meat. The bread still tasted like the bad ham and the eggs were over cooked. The meat also tasted like it was old meat that had been refrigerated a few times. The crapes had a really strong egg taste that it felt like you were eating eggs with barriers. This is the second time I go to this location and both times the food has been horrible. The food is so bad that it leaved me feeling sick the rest of the day. This IHOP appeared to be closed as I drove by. However, I saw the sign which said "open", so I stopped. The place is clean, the service was great(very attentive), the food was served piping hot and was very flavorful. Best of all they're now open 24 hours! YAY!!! I am currently waiting for the General Manager!!!! My family and I are regulars, we come 2 up to 3 times a week to IHOP to have breakfast. BUT TODAYS BREAKFAST WAS UNACCEPTABLE!!! I ordered the original buttermilk full stack of pancakes. They arrived hot and fresh. I really don't remember why I stopped going to IHOP, but after this visit, I will be coming more often. Ok, where do I begin..... How about recent visit as soon as an hour ago. Now, store appearance was pretty good inside and out I saw a little debris on the floor under a table across from me; but the lot and other tables seats, etc. were clean. The food: excellent. It was not cold upon serving and I must say IHOP makes the best pancakes ever. With that various flavoring syrup to go with it, can't go wrong. I'm an omelette guy myself and wow. I've never been disappointed with either. The thing about eating out, is you never know what's going on behind the walls of the kitchen. If your standing or seated in front of a kitchen, are you going to watch the cooks hands the whole time? I don't know many who will. Could make the cooks nervous, who knows. If someone in that position is conscious enough (thinking as a customer) then they'd be mindful about being sanitary around the food. Would you agree!? You see, we ran into a little bug this morning with our waitress (Beverly). It may be etiquette to repeatedly come over to the table and ask if everything's ok. Personally, this disturbs me when I'm eating good food. If there was a problem with it, I'll be sure to contact you. Yes I'm there for the food. But that, plus customer services is 50/50. That's just me. So, while we were waiting for our food I observed the waitress take a tissue and dig in her nose. In plain view of the customers, smh. Then she wiped her nose with the tissue of course and put the tissue in her apron pocket. Yes! She then wiped her fingers onto the apron. Now I'm picky as it is but because I'm big on appearance, image and or perception, particularly in a place like this where it matters. Back to what I saw this morning. I started to leave, but I wanted to give the IHOP rep another chance. Just before we received our food I seen her grab a small cup and prep it with butter for our pancakes. Then she grabbed the plate/s and brought them over to our table. While eating, I observed her take her bare hands and (in front of another customer) attend to her nose again (without any tissue). I said, wow. Where is the awareness? I was expecting someone in that position to go over to the restroom, clean yourself up, and wash your hands. DID NOT HAPPEN. Will I be going back to this IHOP? Idk....I'm still at an awe of what I saw today. To the manager, I saw you on the way out and you looked quite busy with managerial concerns that required you to focus out of the way, yielding confidence to your waiters/waitresses that they'll be professional without your supervision. I hope this warrants a serious talk with your waiters/waitresses. Because the thought of what I saw this morning, being on the mind when eating, interferes with the taste-buds at the least. "Customers" and tips, at the most. To the waitress in question, try and be more mindful. That tip could have been more. Although it was left for you. It was actually for the cooks. My family and I have been coming to this iHOP since around 2009. The prices and quality food has always been pretty consistent. Today we were a party of 3 seated promptly, and our food came out maybe 7 minutes after ordering. Our server Sherri was super friendly, quick, and kept checking on us to make sure our dining experience was great.
