The service was AMAZING! Jennifer was a great waitress! Fast, friendly & gave me everything I needed to enjoy my brunch with my family. I would give her 5stars if she was the only person I encountered today. Unfortunately, this is a review for their manager Charlie. I wish I could give him one star. I understand their lobby is cramped up & small but if he's in front of the store, he should be welcoming to all customers & provide excellent service as a major representative of the company! He's the manager of the restaurant, I expected better. As soon as I walked in, I see the lobby pretty full but only notice one couple standing up waiting for assistance. I saw no one at the sign up podium they have in the front, so I asked Charlie who was at the cash register signing a receipt or something, where I'm able to sign in. He looked up and told me that their was a lot of people waiting and to just stand and WAIT. After the couple on the side of me heard that, they left. But Charlie proceeded to do something at the register and then asked me for my name to sign me in after some time passed by of me just standing there waiting for someone so I can join the waitlist. During this time, my father decided to stand up and ask the wait time since we barely got to write our name in (usually doesn't take long to join a wait list) in which Charlie looked at us and stated he doesn't know the wait time. He couldn't even provide an estimation because as he said, people keep coming and going, calling friends and sitting back down. There were booths empty... & the reason the seating at the lobby was full was because there was a party of eight.. after they got up there was no one. I understand businesses get busy and what not but addressing a customer that is trying to sign in, in a rude and unfriendly manner to WAIT, wasn't the way to go about it. I worked in customer service for YEARS & have never addressed a customer this way. It was possibly because I'm a young adult. He ended up sitting my party 5min later after my father asked numerous times how long the wait would be. He never gave us an answer but we were sat down shortly after. Come on! If he would've told me to hold on a couple of minutes and that I would've been helped shortly, I would've been content. But he talked to me in a manner of no respect as if I was a child waiting for a game in the arcade or something. Be respectful to all & if your in a manager position, address everyone in a friendly/ positive attitude! We're going to this establishment to spend money and have a good time! Finally asked for help but the employees had no idea how to use the app. The next morning she signed into the app and manually added the barcode number in order to build up the points. At first I thought it was the toothpick that held the burger together but once I removed it I quickly realized I was biting something else. The service was horrible. We were never even seated. We asked for a table and the tall, older host at the register told us " yeah, if a table ever becomes available." Both my son & I thought he was quite rude. Expected wait was 15-20 minutes. After more than 20 minutes my son asked for an update and the host just said, "I don't know." We decided to grab some breakfast and walked to the IHOP. Note that if you check in on Yelp, they have a deal for "$5 off your bill of $20 or more". The seating area is actually not that big and would be hard to fit a large group inside. It's mostly booth seating. I ordered an orange juice to start. My husband was feeling like some soup, but unfortunately our server told us that the soup was not ready yet. I ordered the 2x2x2 combo with two pancakes, two eggs over medium and one sausage and one piece of bacon. My husband ended up ordering a chicken salad. Once our food came out, there wasn't any dressing on his salad. Our server went back to get some Ranch dressing for him, but it wasn't the dressing that he wanted. Overall, the meal was just okay and the service was mediocre (could have been better). We came here because it was open and walking distance. The meat also tasted like it was old meat that had been refrigerated a few times. The crapes had a really strong egg taste that it felt like you were eating eggs with barriers. This IHOP appeared to be closed as I drove by. However, I saw the sign which said "open", so I stopped. The place is clean, the service was great(very attentive), the food was served piping hot and was very flavorful. Best of all they're now open 24 hours! YAY!!! Not only did they charge delivery fees and online fees but they did not deliver my full order. I was missing A whole entree, a whole omelette. That means 1 person in my family will not eat breakfast despite me paying for it. He gave me 2 options, go pick up the order (although I already payed for delivery and online fees) or get a refund only on the omelette, not all the extra fees they charged me. I ordered the original buttermilk full stack of pancakes. They arrived hot and fresh. I really don't remember why I stopped going to IHOP, but after this visit, I will be coming more often. Three servers and even a manager stood right in front of them and did nothing to clear the mess. I just wanna let you know. I felt discriminated here in ihop on citrus. The Asian lady who ignored she refused to seat me in first. She had me to wait another 30 minutes.
