I love the food here. The menu is simple but very delicious! I definitely believe in supporting this place. I got the Club with Clam chowder. It was really good and I love the Texas toast. The chowder was a bit runny but very yummy. I love the cleanliness and decor. The service is also very good and friendly. I highly recommend coming here!

Great lil restaurant located on the southwest side of Tucson, First walking in. You notice the beautiful country style decor. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. You were able to get seated rather quickly and have your order placed. I see while it's called hustle bustle because they get you in get your food order and it comes out nice fresh and hot and delicious. Breakfast is served all day. They're open from 7 AM to 2 PM. . Looking forward to returning and tasting some other menu items.

Nice little local diner on my way out to the cactus national Park Seguro maybe cactus. Got me a standard breakfast. It was pretty delicious and served up by friendly faces. They have adult cocktails for brunch and a wide array of breakfast delights for your dining pleasure and a reasonable prices.

Wow! Amazing little spot on the west side. I ordered a BLT, my husband got the potato pancakes. Both were very well done. The real test was finding potato pancakes, and they were extraordinary! Kudos to the staff they were extraordinary too! Great find, close to Old Tucson, the desert museum and west side Saguaro NP.

My boyfriend and I always have such a great experience at this restaurant! From the moment we walk in, the atmosphere is always warm and inviting. The staff is super friendly, attentive, and make the whole visit feel effortless. The food is always the real highlight -- everything tast fresh, well-seasoned, and thoughtfully prepared. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in what they serve. Our dish came out quickly, and every bite was just as good as the last. The portions are generous, the prices are fair, and the overall vibe made it a place I'll definitely return to!! We love it here!!!

Visiting Tucson and was told to stop here for breakfast and glad we did. Very clean and staff was friendly & efficient... We had the French toast & egg combo and the Cali Benedict. Both were very good, hot, fresh & tasty. The portions are large & reasonably priced.

From the other reviews we were expecting more. We were not offered water. Waitress brought me the wrong tea. My Benedict had watery Hollandaise that lacked lemon. The English muffin wasn't toasted and they served me the end of the tomato. My husband's basic breakfast lacked anything like veg with potatoes.

First experience coming here and it was amazing! Food was nice and hot, bacon extra crispy, welcomed as I walked into the door, service was attentive. Definitely will be coming back!

Found this close to Tucson Mountain park. It was clean and cute inside. Our waiter was very nice and helpful. We got to order exactly what we wanted as side items which worked out perfectly for us. Our meal was delicious. One of the best breakfast restaurants we have tried in Tucson. Check out the menu and try them out.

Fish and chips enough for two meals! Delicious.

A pet friendly patio is at the back. Menus are pretty big with a variety of preconceived dishes although they seem OK with substitutions. My friend tells me they have a turkey sausage option for those who don't eat pork sausage. Our waitress was very friendly, kept our waters filled and checked in on us often. All our food was well prepared and there were plenty of left overs. My mocha cold brew was full of flavor and not too sweet with lots of that coffee flavor shining through. So glad I ordered that with the optional whipped cream on top! Thanks to our friends information we received a military discount on our order. We won't see our friends for a while and we sat at the table talking. After paying our tab the waitress let us know we could stay to visit and offered to refill our waters if wanted. Very sweet. Two gender neutral restroom are down a hallway at the back. Highchairs and booster seats are available. A pet friendly outdoor patio is at the back. Parking is in a shared lot with a handicap spot near the entrance.

It's a very casual place staffed by kind and welcoming students, and the food is genuinely good. The Smoked Salmon Beni stood out in the reviews, and it did not disappoint when I finally got to try it. I'll be attaching a photo, but it tasted every bit as good as it looked. I also noticed the shaved steak sandwich on the menu and in several Yelp photos, so I'll definitely have to come back and try that next. I really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, friendly service and overall character of the place.

These Pastries Should Probably Be Illegal…read more Prep & Pastry has been serving Tucson since 2014, and after eating here, I completely understand why they've built such a loyal following. This review is only about the pastries because the rest of their menu deserves an entirely separate review. The first thing I noticed was how incredibly light and airy everything was. Every bite felt fresh, fluffy, and perfectly balanced. The frosting wasn't overly sweet, and nothing tasted heavy or overwhelming. As I've gotten older, I've become much more conscious about what I eat. Surprisingly, these pastries never leave me with that "I shouldn't have done that" feeling. They're indulgent without being excessive. Now let's address the real issue... I always buy two. Not because I'm planning ahead. Because I know exactly what's going to happen if I don't. I'll eat one in the parking lot, sit there for a minute pretending I'm satisfied, then make what is almost certainly an illegal U-turn and head back inside for another. At this point, I believe the owners should stand trial in a savory Food Court of Law. Dun... Dun... "In the Criminal Food Justice System, pastry-based crimes are considered especially delicious. In Tucson, the dedicated foodies who investigate these sugary felonies are members of an elite squad known as the Special Pastry Unit. These are their stories." Prep & Pastry is guilty of making "I'll just have one" the biggest lie you'll tell yourself all week. Whether you're stopping by for breakfast, brunch, or simply because life is better with a great pastry, this place delivers. WIT Inspection Score: -- Truly Among the Best.

The line was really long, so we used the iPad they provide to place our order. We selected a matcha, but the iPad never gave us the option to choose between hot or iced. We assumed it would come iced, which is our mistake for assuming. When our order came out, the matcha was hot. We went inside and politely asked if there is any chance we could get it iced instead since there was no option on the iPad. The owner herself took the drink and remade it, which we appreciated, but her attitude toward us after was unnecessary. She told us that next time we should order directly with them because we just "wasted their cups" and so on. We apologized again and explained that we would have selected iced if the iPad had actually given us that option, but she didn't really acknowledge what we were saying. What made the experience more disappointing is that I work in coffee myself, so I understand what it's like when things get busy. I chose Barista Del Barrio out of all the coffee shops in the area specifically because I'm Latino and wanted to support a Latino-owned business. I even tipped when I placed the order on the iPad, so I was disappointed with how we were treated over something as simple as an ordering-system issue.

Interesting atmosphere with flamingos galore and other things decorating the inside. Gives it somewhat of a party and fun feel. Food comes out in a timely manner even when they are very busy. Prices are reasonable. Give it a try, I think you'll like it. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!
