First time here and won't be the last. The service is excellent and staff is friendly. The atmosphere is calm and nice. The decor is very nice and modern, Xmas tree in the corner is very nice. I chose to get the special Sonoran Benedict, this plate was very good with poached eggs, chorizo and green chile with a side of hash browns. This restaurant was a much needed place for the area! I've only been here once but I live nearby so I know I will be in again. Place seemed to be run by youngsters where this may be their first hospitality gig. Bright view of outdoors, food and coffee reasonably priced. Not a bad experience, but I felt like I had to flag them down for coffee refills and the bill. This breakfast and lunch spot is super clean and all the workers are super sweet. The food is really good. It's also a great price. It's in a cute little hidden corner. I'm so happy it's there. What a hidden gem! My husband, sister, brother-in-law, and I decided to have breakfast here this morning, and it was the best decision we've made all year!! The food was absolutely delicious. I've never had such tender country fried steak, buttery and crispy hash browns, and perfectly salted and cooked bacon. The rest of my family additionally enjoyed their meals. It felt like with each bite, we were commenting on how we'd come back. The service was equally wonderful, as the staff was very attentive. If you are going, be warned that it might be a little of a wait because the building is relatively small, with about 15-25 tables. It is worth any wait though! read more

First, all the things I like. The way it's decorated is beautiful, and some of the staff seem friendly and it's convenient. Now the things I'm not a big fan of, it's LOUD (could have been because it was SO packed) but still hard to have a conversation being it was SO loud. Everything bounces off the walls. The waitress was okay and I mean just okay. Maybe she was just having an off day. The bigger deal was the SUPER simple steak salad. In my opinion, it was probably the worst steak salad I have ever eaten. The first bite of steak was total Grizzle. Which would have been okay but after the first 4 bites of grizzle I lost my appetite. Literally, the grizzle should have been cut off. I mean $13 for a steak salad is cheap but super expensive when you get maybe an ounce (might have been 2 oz) of steak and half of it was inedible. Wish they would have cut it out. Would I go back probably not but I do like to try a restaurant at least twice to see if it was an off day. read more

So pleased to see more business out this way! Great hours, cute and clean diner space. Friendly service. Incredibly reasonable prices. I have been 5 times and will continue to go. I am grateful we have something out this was as I said earlier. Again, prices are awesome. However, the food is not great. Pancakes are fine. Eggs were fine. French toast has been dry each time, coffee is mediocre, but probably what one would expect from a diner. Kinda nostalgic so I don't mind. My main issue is the oil they use overwhelms the food I've had. Particularly the breakfast potatoes and the hash browns. Not only saturated in oil, but it's all you can taste. This has been 3 times now that it's consistently ruined the food for me. I will try other menus items and do feel it's safe to get the pancakes and waffles. My kids have had chicken strips and fries and those were decent. When it's busy, it's preferred as I've been a couple times when it was slow and the kitchen and wait staff were kind of standing around watching us. Ha! I don't even think they knew how it looked to us at the table and they were certainly attentive. Staff has always been friendly and helpful. I do hope they continue to do well and maybe think about making some changes to the oil in many of the dishes. Also to note, the sausage, bacon and some other dishes, even the French toast, do taste like they were from the freezer section and just reheated. Regardless, it's nice to have a place to go that's close to home, relax, have some friendly service and not break the bank while doing it. Going during the week insures you get your food prepared by the family that owns the business, and it's much better than the time we went on the weekend. I haven't been disappointed when stopping here for breakfast, ever. New to me and the menu is the Sonoran Benedict. Beautifully poached eggs served over a Palano pepper, and chorizo patty on an English muffin. I substitute a potato pancake for the hash browns.
