My favorite red in Arizona, we have been coming here since 2006 and their service is incredible with prices you cannot beat. Viv's is a truly special place with people that make you feel at home.

Great service, food was good, big portions. Will definitely come back. They had a nice patio and it was dog friendly inside and out.

Solid diner breakfast spot - food is reasonably priced, and comes out quickly, and the staff is lovely! The food is good overall (the only exception was the hashbrowns came a bit undercooked our first time there but the other dishes made up for it) - our favorites are: - Denver omelette: glad I went with the suggestion to also have their fresh salsa with this because it added an extra fresh flavor and was tasty! You can choose your sides (hashbrowns and toast, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, etc) - the buttered sourdough was great. - Corned beef hash: my husband ordered it extra crispy and prepared like we like it; the pancakes on the side were fluffy - solid diner pancakes We've been here twice - definitely adding Viv's to our go-to breakfast spots on the east side of town!

GREAT DINER! Shoutout to Jill, she's awesome! She made us delicious milkshakes to start. I got the South Of The Border omelet and it was so good! I asked for a side of sour cream too. The food was absolutely delicious! My boyfriend got a dish that came with gravy, and it is some bomb white gravy! This place gets pretty packed on a Sunday morning so plan ahead. They always have great specials daily. Come try it out!

I know I just posted on Tandem, but this must be told, lol…read more Birthday dinner tonight at Tandem. The prime rib was succulent, perfectly seasoned, and medium rare. The stacked scalloped potatoes are unlike any you've ever had: creamy on the inside and crisp on the edges, and asparagus, my fave. We shared the gluten-free flourless chocolate cake with chocolate syrup and real (of course) whipped cream. Sorry no pic of dessert, but we went after it the second it hit the table, lol. So so good.

We got seated immediately with menus in the bar area and the bartender was our server for the evening. He was super knowledgeable and gave recommendations and let us know about the specials which was mozzarella sticks with a bacon fat marinara to which we ordered. My husband got the prime rib cheesesteak, I had a burger, and my friend had the lobster roll. I expected the mozzarella sticks to come out first but they came out with all of our food which was fine. The mozzarella sticks really lacked luster the breading was un flavorful and the bacon fat marinara sauce was actually not good either. The burger was maybe 4/10 they just cook the burgers well done - I was never asked how I wanted my burger. The bun ended up non existent half way through. The chips were interesting I think they must fry them in the bacon fat or a blend because the same flavor was in the marinara sauce which wasn't good. Hy husband loved his cheesesteak said it was great. My friend loved her lobster roll, she agreed with other reviews of the ratio of butter and mayo was great vs ones she has had in the past. We all didn't eat the chips. I think if they were fried in a regular oil it would've been fine or given the option of just plain fries would've been a nice substitute. It felt wasteful. Loved their large bar selection, would've loved to see a mocktail on the menu.

Wish the pretzels were bigger like BJ's Tacern as we had to get a second delicious pretzel to kill off the AMAZING beer cheese dip. Pretzel size not withstanding I'd totally get that again as it's the beer cheese was possibly if not definitely the best I've EVER had. They also had a damned decent beer selection. I've seen much better but my wife and I found options we liked. Considering how picky we are with beer that says something. The service was amazing. Attentive, fun and professional. For snacks, we tried the chicken wings: half honey sauce (our favorite, crispy and delicious) and half bourbon. The bourbon wings had great flavor, though we felt they were slightly undercooked. They got back to me right away and were very friendly and encouraging that they'd help me out. When we got there, it wasn't busy at all, so we didn't need a reservation. It was a bit disconcerting that the hostess didn't know anything about me having the reservation, but like I said, it wasn't busy at all. We put a couple tables together and had all the space we needed. The large garden setting was spacious and lit by strings of lights which created a nice ambiance. Every table was in the shade by the time we arrived, so if anything, we should've dressed warmer. Our server was friendly and answered our questions. The menu isn't huge, but there were a couple of things I could have with my dietary needs. I ordered the chili burger on lettuce instead of a bun. I upgraded to the Tuscan salad for my side for an extra $4. I asked for some ranch dressing on the side for dipping my burger. My hamburger was very well done, almost to the point of being burnt on the edges. It was hard to cut with the plastic knife I was given. The tiny bit of Tuscan salad was disappointing. It tasted ok, but was definitely not worth the upcharge for the amount I got. So, my meal was disappointing and unsatisfying. The people we ate with would probably rate the place higher than I did because they enjoyed their meals and I didn't hear much complaining. My husband got the Reuben with fries and enjoyed it. The sandwich had a sweet taste to it, perhaps from the apple on it or their sauce. The ones who ordered nachos got a gigantic portion of those. When we got our bill we saw that there was a charge for the little side of ranch dressing. It would've been nice if they'd told us when we asked for it. It might be fun to go back when they have live music.

We asked him about the drinks and we were left to feel like it was an inconvenience. His demeanor and attitude was just so rude. Any questions we had about the menu he seemed so angry. He hardly said anything to us all evening. I tried to make some light hearted comments and he told me he didn't appreciate it as he was so busy. All of the other servers seemed fine.
