Houng Long Keele and Wilson Broth 7/10 with sauces 8/10 Noodles 7.5/10 Saltiness 6/10 not a bad thing Meat Well done meat - 4/10 Tendon 8/10 Beef Ball 7.5/10 Tripe 7/10 Overall a lot less tripe decent amount of beef and the set of 2 beef balls is standard Portion for Large was perfectly feeling, lacked some more noodles but the beef amount make up for it Fresh Rolls were pretty basic, not much of a crunch that is needed nowadays, although their peanut sauce was quite good runny but good enough to stick. Service was quick, standard book order. Ambiance everyone was very welcoming and saw interactions with regulars who seemed to pleasantly enjoy their meals every time they come or so they say.

Grilled pork vermicelli. Small thin noodles. Pork is super tasty. Comes with cucumbers, shredded lettuce, picked carrot, reddish and bean sprouts. Love the combination for just under $15.

Bun Cha Gio Va (B7) Spring Roll, grilled Pork with vermicelli, my favourite. Service is always quick and friendly. And very well priced. This dish will fill almost anyone. Washrooms are in basement so there is a staircase if your mobility is challenged.

I have ordered a couple of times from here. The Pho is fine, I wouldn't really write home about it but it as very decent. The Vietnamese coffee was also ok but not great, It is a go to place for work lunches in the area. But I don't know if I would go often on my own volition.

Tee hee hee.. and the beef balls and rare meat was pretty good too. In all seriousness, it was very good Pho! One of the tastier soups in the city. It's a bit of a hidden gem dive.

Late night eats on the cheap! That's why this place is so popular. Went here late on a Friday night and the place was busy but our party of 11 adults and 2 children were seated right away. We wrote our orders down on the order sheet and our food came out quickly after. I ordered the B7 Vermicelli noodles with grilled pork which came with an egg roll ($7.49). I enjoyed my dish, the vegetables were fresh and meat was flavorful with a touch of sweetness. The egg roll was a little greasy but still very tasty. I like to pour a little bit of the dipping sauce for the egg roll onto my noodle dish to add more flavor to the vermicelli. My hubby ordered the P18 Pho with beef, tendon and tripe ($7 for a large). I tried his soup and it was delicious (after adding the condiments of course) and the meat was tender. The balance of flavors was excellent! Servers were attentive and efficient. Will definitely be back.

Fast service, good portions and weekly specials. The seafood red curry had too much coconut in it. But theHue noodles was tasty enough. I see some people eating the rice portions which are huge too. Ambience is like a fast food restaurant. Although they can get rather busy during the weekends. But they clean up fast

This place has also do it yourself rice paper rolls or wraps! I have been on a Vietnamese craving trend and can have it everyday! Other then the flies/pests flying around, the food is decent! They have an extensive viet Chinese menu! I would have gave it a 4 if there wasn't so many bugs flying around!

This is my second time coming back to this place and both times, it was great! It gets really packed in the evenings which seems like a good sign. I do prefer this pho place over the other one across the street. Portions were large and everything tasted amazing. I got the grilled pork vermicelli (the usual for me at any Viet style restaurant) and it didn't disappoint. The grilled pork was really yummy, lots of noodles along with it. They also have really yummy milkshakes. I'd definitely recommend this place and will be coming back myself.

Parking can be a bit tricky at times, due to the limited parking. But the food is on point and reminds of my visit to Vietnam every time.

I ordered the bun bo hue, pho, and spring rolls. The bun bo hue tasted more like a spicy pho broth, and the pho reminded me of the broth at the Michelin recommended restaurant on Ossington. Overall, the bun bo hue and spring rolls were just okay, nothing special. The pho was good if you're looking for something simple. They also put a large piece of beef tendon in the pho, which I loved! One thing I didn't like was that the owner seemed to be rushing us to order, which felt a bit off putting. I'd come back for the pho and spring rolls, but I'm not sure about the other dishes.

This really is soul food when you're feeling sick. My one quarrel with this place is the extremely small wide of their "large soup bowls" this is just terrible. I wish they would just go back to a regular large bowl of soup. This is the smallest "large" pho soup size I've had just about anywhere I've been. Honestly amazing place, but the portion of the soup really really irks me. Also the fried spring rolls are a must try! Incredible every single time.

The dry noodle dishes under the green column use egg noodles & those under the brown use rice noodles but the toppings & sauce are the same. The most pricey rice noodles are Japanese but otherwise the difference is width. Got the thin egg noodle version in large. It's recommended to add pickled garlic & red vinegar. The soup was pretty tasty with a natural sweetness, 2 springy half fishballs & a large, very fresh shrimp. The sauce was basically oyster sauce but pickled garlic, red vinegar, hoi sin & chili sauce were available to add complexity. The noodles weren't wet but were not dry either. Large was a very big bowl it came with minced pork, thin sliced pork beansprouts & greens. The pickled garlic was good. Also got a shrimp fritter on the side for $2.50. It was big with one tiny shrimp. The juxtaposition was comical but it was cheap. It was not warm but the fritter was crispy & tasty. Unfortunately the shrimp itself was dry & brittle. Service was good, especially for an Asian place.

Right down to the non-white washed clientele. I'd always prefer to dine where the "locals" dine, and being in a multicultural city like Toronto, it's difficult to fine a hidden gem that hasn't been invaded by foreigners (I'm laughing inside because I'm not Viet and am disliking myself for being that invader; however, I can pass for a Viet if I just point to the table I want and the menu item I'd like ). So, please keep this place to yourself as I would hate to line up the next time I come.

Got the dry pho with chicken - personally would prefer a bun (vermicelli) instead. The green onion tofu had a good flavour with the sauce but found it was fried a bit too much, making it crispier than I'd like (it felt more like tofu skin than I could enjoy the tofu itself). The stuffed chicken wing was my favourite of the 3, just felt slightly pricey for what it was. The mango sticky rice cocktail was delicious - would get again.

I really like the decor at Dzo, it gives off a cyberpunk Vietnam nightlife vibe. Here was I ordered: Bò Tái Chanh (Beef Carpaccio) - $21.95 - Thinly sliced raw beef with coconut leche de tigre, pickled onion, herbs, garlic, peanuts. This was served with a bowl of sesame cracker and prawn crackers - very tasty and a fairly large appetizer you can share with friends. There was definitely more beef than there was crackers but very tasty - 8/10 Pork Belly Claypot - $20.95 - steamed rice served with clay pot of braised pork belly, egg and pickled vegetables. This was really tasty, the pork meat was very flavourful. The pork meat had a little too much fat on it but overall still very tasty! 8/10 Overall I recommend Dzo Viet eatery, good value but a little more expensive for Vietnamese food, but there's usually a premium for restaurants within downtown Toronto Total spent was: $55.87 after tax and tips
