Recently came back for dine-in with a few friends. Service from Michelle and her team was fantastic! And the food was delicious. We tried Banh Hoi for the first time and learned how to wrap them properly. The rice paper roll platter came with a generous serving of fresh herbs. The special soup noodle dishes are SO GOOD. Highly recommend 429. Bun Oc (Whelk Soup) and the 429A. Bun Cha Ca I Love Pho (I Love Pho Style Fried Fish Cake Soup. We also enjoyed our drinks: fresh coconut Juice, and avocado shake. Will definitely return!

First time trying here and the pho soup is much better than the store I tried in Ottawa The soup is clear and has a distinctive taste which is good The pho noodles stays the same even when I leave it overnight in the fridge For the price, the portion is huge The banh cuon has a traditional taste of the North. The dipping sauce is excellent Would try again in the near future

The best bun mam in the gta, and probably one of my favourite Vietnamese restaurant as well. The staffs are also very accommodating and friendly. They have a patio for dinning and they offer a fair portion size for take out.

My two colleagues and I went out for lunch a couple of Fridays ago. Our original plan was to eat at Dairy Queen. When we got to the plaza, I noticed a sign for I Love Pho. I was intrigued. So were my colleagues. We completely changed our lunch plans and hit this restaurant. It's a good sign of a decent pho place when it is packed at noon. We got the last available table. Yay! I pointed out what I normally get as far as pho goes. I like the rare beef and beef balls pho. They followed suit. It's nice that they trust me! One of them ordered the small size. The other person and I went with the medium. We looked at the table to my right. The couple had ordered the large, which looked like they could have both dunked their heads in the bowl and they would have fit. It was huge! We also got the four-piece pork and chicken spring rolls. I filled out everything and handed the little slip of paper to our server. The pho broth was fragrant and perfect. I immediately knew that I was going to enjoy my pho. The rare beef and beef balls were exactly right. The bean sprouts, mint, and lime wedge were fresh. My colleagues enjoyed their bowls of pho, too. I always feel like you are not eating pho right if you don't splatter your food on your shirt. We all did that. Or, perhaps we are just slobs and want to feel better about ourselves. Our spring rolls did not come. I flagged a server to ask about them. It's funny how I had that item at the top of the filled-out form, but they were fine getting our pho orders correct. Eventually, our spring rolls came. They were yummy. Had we got our rolls without my flagging someone, I would have given this place a full five stars. It's a decent place for pho. It's one of the better places that I have been to in a while. I can't wait to return here soon. (230)

I Love Pho 2 is doing a pretty good job with ensuring there's distancing between patrons and minimal contact for communal items! We'd been craving pho for a while and the options near home just weren't satisfying enough. Based on their first location's rapport, we dropped into this location over the weekend. Brightly lit, simple décor that's been upgraded for distancing measures, no frills experience. The tables were kept clean and patrons sat in the booths on either side of the shop - the booth walls have been extended upwards with clear plastic barriers that served the purpose but didn't obstruct view. There were quite a few tables occupied actually, so good to see that business was still happening! Menu was on an electronic device - easy to read, swipe, and easy to clean off! No more paper menus or laminated sheets with food stuck on them. The health survey is attached to the order sheet - so no chance of missing that either! Once we'd ordered, eating utensils, napkins, and sauces were provided on a tray to minimize contact - no more communal containers with someone else's mess, or risking prior patrons having played with all the spoons! Pho bowls come in medium or large - a 75c difference only. Primarily the change is in the amount of noodles and broth you get, the toppings do scale up but not in a super noticeable way. The broth was clear and flavourful, the toppings were good, and notably the tripe was fresh and cut thinly which was very nice! Many times in the past I've suffered slimey, elastic tripe that just won't give, but this was thinly sliced and had good crunch. Being not too busy, this will join my roster of go-to locations for pho when I'm in Mississauga!

As a Vietnamese, I love trying different pho restaurants. Love coming to this pho place. So many options to choose from and the place is always packed. Many delicious dishes, however favorites include bun bo hue, and hu tieu my tho kho (comes with fried shrimp, very tasty) and mi xao! can come here multiple times a week whenever I'm craving authentic Vietnamese food

One of my go to vietnamese restaurants in Mississauga for pho and vermicelli! Love how much meat/toppings their pho and vermicelli comes with, the ratio of noodles to meat is absolutely perfect and always fresh. Soup base is very flavourful, also get my vermicelli with their homemade vietnamese meatballs! I've been to this location 3-4 times and every time has been consistently good. The price is right and value is there. Smoothie durian here is also done very well, bursting full of durian flavour!

I came back after a couple of years and the food is still on point. Service is still minimal but the food is still the highlight. We came on a weekday after 2pm and the place was not busy and we were able to get a seat fairly quickly. We ordered the Pho and the Broken Rice dish. Portions size are still big. Reading the recent reviews, they were concerned with the cleanliness of the place. I have to attest that we noticed flies around the tables. Something to keep in mind for next time. #13 of 2019

201. Special pho

I love pho! Large size special pho came with ample amount of meat( tendons, tripe, beef slices etc). Broth is solid but less sweet if I had to compare to pho88. Overall, great value for under 10 bucks. P.s: XL size pho is not an option. Large size will be sufficiently filling.

There's many Pho places in this area of the city, but noticing that they changed their name awhile ago I decided to finally try this place out over the weekend. We came in at about 6PM and yet there was already a massive line-up out the door - that's a good thing right? Anyways it took about 15 minutes for us to be seated so I'd imagine this place gets pretty busy during weekend lunch and dinner hours. Their menu is much more extensive than other Vietnamese places because they also serve Chinese and Thai food. Of course with the store name being what it was I had to try out the large Pho Dac Biet. The two other people I was with ended up getting a Beef Pho and Com Thap Cam. When the Pho came out the first thing that I noticed was how large it was. For the menu price I was expecting less content similar to other places in the area, but that was not the case. The broth had a pleasant smell before it even hit the table. Unfortunately the quality of the beef, beef balls, and chicken didn't seem up to par and I'd wager they were low quality cuts. Regardless the Pho was overall delicious and quite filling which prompted me to finish off most of the broth. I'm definitely going to come back and would recommend this place to anyone who loves Vietnamese food. Although one thing I have to knock them for was the service. Our waiter was pretty dispassionate about taking our order. He brought us the wrong order and the manager (I presume) came to our table and started yelling at him. When he apologized to us it was sounded more sarcastic than anything. It could've just been because they were so busy, but the service was certainly subpar.

Overall, I really enjoyed the experience here. I would say though that it is quite a bit expensive. The dumplings came with a salad that was basically just cabbage, so crunchy, no taste, no dressing, at all, like squeeze some juice/dressing of any kind, so no attention to detail here, at all, the chili chicken was great though, just wish I didn't three orders for a satisfying lunch, literally 3 x $5 was necessary for one person, so, good luck,

We recently reminisced about going to Bao Sandwich Bar for lunch between interviews at the University of Waterloo. I had mentioned to him that it had a second location in Mississauga, roughly a fifteen-minute drive from our workplace. He said that when we were both in the office, he'd only want to go there for lunch with me. It's nice that he trusts my judgment when it comes to eateries. I also believe that he likes my company. A couple of Wednesdays ago, he asked what I was doing for lunch. I normally hit Treats nearby. He wasn't feeling it. I said that we could go here and provided some details, including its online menu and such. I also asked him if he had any meetings. I'm that type of a planner, down to the departure time. He was game. I said that we should leave at 11:15 am. The place opens at 11:30 am. He had a meeting at 1 pm. I wanted a leisurely, unrushed lunch. Done! I drove us over there. With my lead foot, it was more like thirteen minutes, without hitting any highway. Like the Bao place in Waterloo, this one is also located on a lower level of a plaza, with a tall building at the top of this hill. I parked in front of the eatery. We walked in. We were the first customers. It looks like the place kept some of the seating from the previous business that occupied the place. The upholstery looked shabby. Otherwise, the rest of the eatery was spruced up. I got a combo consisting of these items: - Crackle belly bao - Korean garlic chicken bao - Purple flower lemonade - Dynasty duck poutine My manager got the following items: - Dynasty duck bao - Thai yum pork bao - House salad - Thai tea I took a star away because I wasn't expecting my order to be $40! It was okay for the large portion of dynastic duck poutine that I got. It was rather steep. You won't see me eating here every day. I split the poutine with my manager, so it was okay. I paid with a credit card. The transaction was smooth. It didn't take long for our food to be ready. The woman who had taken our orders was nice to bring the food to our table. I have always loved the crackle belly bao. It was equally as delicious here as it was in Waterloo. The pork belly was tasty and perfectly seasoned. The bao was nice and malleable. The veggies provided a nice contrast. I loved it. I tried the Korean garlic chicken bao. It was heavenly. The sauce was spicy and garlicky. The chicken had a crispy exterior and was juicy inside. It's nice having another decent bao to call my favourite. The purple flower lemonade was delicious. I normally don't like sweet lemonade. This version had a touch of sweetness that I enjoyed. This drink's colour was also pretty to look at. My manager enjoyed his food. He oddly doesn't like green vegetables, so I saw him pick out the cilantro and green onions. He felt that the sauces were mixed up. His Thai yum pork bao wasn't spicy. The dynasty duck that he has had in the past was oddly spicy. We had a baseline of the dynasty duck poutine that wasn't spicy to compare. Even with the sauce mix-up, he still enjoyed everything. His side salad had a bit of a spice kick, so he was happy. I loved eating here. It was a nice, casual lunch with yummy food. I wish that it were cheaper. However, the quality was excellent that I'm okay shelling out for it as someone who likely won't be dropping by weekly. (67)

I had an early dinner at Sansotei Ramen, which is by mall entrance 9. It'll get you to Tanghulu. Alternatively, you can cut through Walmart's second floor to get to Tanghulu. I was fortunate to be the only customer at Tanghulu when I arrived. I ordered on the right and picked it up on the left. Tanghulu means that fresh fruit gets coated in melted candied sugar. On my first visit, I got the following fruit: - Mango - Green grape - Strawberry I also got a strawberry banana coco cup. I got the option to get milk chocolate or matcha white chocolate sauce. I went with the latter. I got a box with my tanghulu fruit on sticks. I liked that they had the fruit skewers ready in advance. It was cool watching the female staffer put together my banana strawberry coco cup. I saw her pour the matcha sauce over the fruit, which was oddly zen and satisfying. She asked if I wanted white or coloured sprinkles. I got the latter. The downside to this store is that there isn't any seating. I walked out and headed to a small area with seating in front of Peoples Jewellers. I nabbed the last free table with a lone chair. If you know me well, I love fruit. If I don't have any fruit, I feel as if something is off. I didn't know how I'd feel about the hard sugar glaze over the fruit. As someone who does low to no sugar in my drinks, I didn't know how sugary the tanghulu would be. I started with the mango tanghulu, which wasn't at its full ripeness. Hearing the crunch of the sugar glaze and then munching on it was unique. It was sweet, but it balanced out with the not completely ripe mango. It was fun. I had the grapes next. Each grape was plump and juicy. I started to get a bit tired of crunching on sugar glaze, so I took half of it off. It was perfect for someone like me who doesn't consume that much sugar these days. The strawberry tanghulu was also amazing. I love ripe strawberries. I did half of them with the sugar glaze and took some of it off to not bounce off the mall walls. I enjoyed the matcha coco cup with sliced strawberries and bananas. You can never go wrong with this fresh fruit combination. The natural sweetness of both fruit was perfect. I liked the matcha sauce. It was sweet, but not gross. The matcha balanced out the sweetness. It was excellent. Last Wednesday, I returned. I saw that it had a Dubai coco cup. Sign me up! I got strawberry and banana as my fruit. You can also go with strawberries. This cup comes with milk chocolate sauce. I paid with a credit card. I tapped and was good. This place is super generous with fruit and chocolate sauce. My cup was so full that I had to take a sip of the chocolate sauce before heading over to the seating area by Peoples again. I love the coco cups here. The strawberry and banana slices were delicious with the milk chocolate. I loved the crispy bits in the Dubai pistachio filling. It worked so well with the chocolate and fruit. I thoroughly enjoyed my time consuming my coco cup. The Dubai coco cup is here for a limited time. I wish it were on the menu permanently because it's excellent. I need to return to get another one before it goes away. (134)

Mai Bistro has a small patio out front that's covered and indoor seating as well. We opted to sit on the patio. I'm guessing that those items have already sold out. The grilled lemongrass pork with rice and asian slaw was $22 and the shrimp ceviche with fresh salsa and avocado on a crispy tortilla was $11. My Vietnamese style pork tacos were a good deal for $10. Even at the regular price of $14 the price isn't too different from tacos at other restaurants. The pork was flavourful and portions are like what I found from food trucks in LA (but leave you wanting more).

She assured us not to worry as the owners are very kind and it was a place you could dress up but accept casual wear as well. So off we went. Pulling in we saw it was a restaurant attached to the Orchid Hotel. And old but beautiful looking home converted to a hotel/restaurant. Once inside I saw white linen table cloths with nice stem ware and crisp white napkins and silverware. I looked at my sister and said I think we are underdressed lol. It was a Thursday around 5 pm, no reservation but it wasn't super busy yet so we were immediately seated. The host was kind, and put two tables together for our party of 5. The menu was simple which I liked. We ordered appetizers to start, the spring rolls and the crab cakes. I apologize for not taking pictures, I was tired and forgot so I'll just say they were delicious. Sidenote: I don't like seafood but one taste of the crab cake and I could have eaten both cakes myself! So very good! For the main course I ordered the Thai chicken coconut curry which had a side of rice. My hubby ordered the salmon with rice and vegetables. From the first bite we both let out yummy noises. We each took a bite of each other's food and I can say the salmon was absolutely delicious as was my curry dish. The portion sizes were great. We were both so full. My brother in law got the lamb-it looked like it was cooked perfectly and he said it was delicious.
