    Schezuan Fried rice

Mixed experience with the food! The good - Manchurian soup - decent portion and price The average - Mix veg pakora Veg schezuan Fried rice Absolutely below Average: American chop suey Also when you order online they have +$1 extra for dry version of any item, and the confusing part is you have to specify that you need a gravy. Ideally you should only specify if you need dry version. Got charged for dry veg pakora when I was expecting a gravy portion. Prices are otherwise on the higher side!

Been to this place a few times and visited this establishment after a long time. We were promptly seated and staff quickly came over to see if we were ready. Ordered a large Vegetarian Manchurian soup which came pretty quick. The soup bowl to drink are pretty small and between the five of us we got one bowls each and two of us got extra half's. The soup tasted good, but was overloaded with green peas. Glad that they confirmed that all noodles they use in the soup and dishes are egg free and makes it suitable for vegans like me. Also ordered a Vegetarian Manchurian, Hakka Chowmein, Vegetarian Fried Rice, Garlic Paneer and a Mixed Vegetable with Cashews. The dishes come quickly as well. The taste of Manchurian was good. The sauce/gravy less than we would liked, and pakoras a bit on the soggy side. Would have preferred a crunch left on the pakoras. The Paneer dishes family enjoyed. The rest of the dishes tasted same - there was no distinction between Manchurian, Paneer and the Mixed Vegetables. The noodles and rice also lacked some punch as it tasted more bland than spiced. Overall very disappointed with quantify of food as it comes in a pretty small bowl. The quantity and tasted and quality are not in sync. The service is below par. 5 of us and we were charged a mandatory 15 % service charge which was not warranted. Mentioned on the menu, BTW. However I find the 5 number to be lowest I have encountered. Which wouldn't have been an issue when we don't get served water, or condiments or the plates not being cleared promptly so that other dishes can be kept on the table.... I have a few more.

This is my boyfriend's favourite Hakka restaurant m. I have never tried Hakka before and really enjoyed the food. The hot and sour soup was flavourful and delicious. We have been twice together and always order the beef noodles and garlic fish which are consistent and tasty. This time we tried the crispy beef based on reviews. Yum! The service is excellent.

My favourite hakka place ever! I go here every time I'm craving hakka food. My favourites and recommendations: + lollipop chicken!! (pictured) + tiger shrimp pakoras + hot and sour soup + chilli chicken dry + Manchurian chicken + garlic chicken The serving sizes are quite large so order the dishes to share! The service is great and the employees are very friendly, welcoming, and willing to give recommendations on menu items. The space is very clean and well decorated. The place isn't usually crowded. **I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to try hakka food for the first time. You will not be disappointed!**

I've been eating on occasion from Royal Jasmine for 10+ years and have to admit that it has maintained consistent quality and service! I recommend getting the hakka noodles if you want a true hakka experience and get them spicy (only if you can tolerate the heat)! The chilli chicken is good, but quite a standard dish. I have recently discovered (thanks to other Yelp reviews), that they are known for their spicy garlic chicken dish. After having tried it for the first time, i can say it'll be my go to over the chilli chicken or manchurian chicken. The spicy garlic dish still has fried chicken, but the sauce is more flavourful than the other two! Get extra chilli vinegars on the side to add kick and some sourness to your food. Portions are big and quality and service is great!

This is an amazing place for indo-Chinese food. It was my first time here and I've heard great things from friends we ordered the chicken Manchuria soup and Tom yum soup. For starters we ordered the chicken lollipops and for main course we ordered the Schezwan chicken friend rice and chilli chicken wet. For the soups the chicken Manchuria was amazing it was hot spicy but not too spicy it was perfect will come back more for this. The Tom yum soup was a little too much on the sour side but it was not too bad at all just a little sourness coming through tingling a little on the taste buds. The chicken lollipops were amazing and over the top, in love with the lollipops. One the best lollipops I ever tasted The Schezwan fried rice was spicy. But in a good way hopefully the next time I come here it will be my go to dish. The flavour really came through . The chilli chicken was a little disappointing as the chicken felt a little harder on the inside. It smelt a little stale too. Over all good restaurant will be trying more dishes soon.

I am surprised that I have been coming to this restaurant for lunch for over a year and haven't written a review. Geez! I like Hakka food. Since my employer relocated to a different office building, this restaurant is the closest one. The food is good. My favourite is the spicy garlic chicken. I order it so often that the server knows what I am about to order! I also love the spicy chilli chicken. You can also order the majority of the lunch specials with beef or fish, too. The lemon chicken was disappointing. The batter on the chicken was soggy in the lemon sauce that it peeled off on its own. I haven't ordered that dish ever since. Of note, the chicken is battered and deep-fried. If you want chicken breast that isn't batterer and fried, it costs more. The fish is also fried, but you don't have any grilled option. If you are health-conscious, go for the beef. It's neither battered, nor deep-fried. There are also many vegetarian options. I have a vegetarian colleague who didn't have a problem finding a dish the last time she was here. The last time I was here, we waited a good thirty minutes for our food. It normally does not take that long. My heart still loves Chopstick Cuisine best. Royal Jasmine is good, but it has room to improve.

Another great lunch spot during work! My coworkers and I decided to be adventurous and to try some different for lunch (aka not have a healthy salad) :p We ventured around Dixie and Eglinton area and came across royal jasmine. I've heard about this place before and that it has amazing Hakka Chinese dishes. All I can say is that we will be back here again. The lunch specials are about 10 bucks and it's filling! There's so much variety here - veggie, chicken, fish etc. The customer service was good and so was the food. However the gravy a tad bit watery.

There are actually quite a few Hakka restaurants in Mississauga, and this is one of the best. ATMOSPHERE: Decor's a bit dated, but space is large. They can accommodate large groups. Good for families. I recommend going with 4 or more people, and share different mains! There's so much choice. SERVICE: Okay. Though they may not check-in on you regularly, they usually respond fairly quickly to requests. PRICE: Reasonable. Good portions. Especially the family-style combos/meals! Got a minimum party of 6? Get the Family Meal! You get a soup, an appetizer (try the wings), 4 mains (from a select menu), rice, and dessert. FOOD: So tasty! It's true that a lot of Hakka food is spicy, but there are mild dishes (even some curries) and some completely non-spicy dishes that are SUPER tasty. Like, the chop suey chow mein (with fried egg - order "Royal" version), and the fish with lobster sauce. They have the best Crispy Beef (unfortunately, not a part of the Family menu). Pad Thai is good too. And if you need to bring down the heat a bit, order a sweet mango lassi. Highly recommended. :)

If you like spicy and/or sweet food, this is your place. First time I had a sweet and sour Chop Suey. General Tao's Chicken was also sweet. Mango Chicken wasn't anything to rave about. Only decent dish was the Korean Bugolgi Beef. I wouldn't not recommend this dish unless your a fan of spicy or sweet dish.

Finally had a chance tried this place on a cool October evening ! So we walked in and were surprised how busy it was ....guess it's pretty popular. We were seated fairly quickly and took a look at the menu and found a few of our favorite Hakka options right away . We oredered the typical chili chicken and chilli shrimp aswell as a Manchurian soup . The food came quick and it honestly tasted pretty good , I'm very picky with Hakka cause I already have my favorite place in Mississauga that I go to . But this place honestly does match right up with m fave spot . So we'll done jasmine well done ! The portion size was good the flavour was very good and the freshness and taste was on point ! All in all I was very pleased and would come back any day ! I'm excited to try a few other things on the menu upon my return ! Give them a try for sure !

One of the best Hakka restaurants in Mississauga!! Always packed with customers, very lively atmosphere, quite prompt service and good food. They have a good selection of Hakka Chinese dishes, and the good part is, you can customise the taste, spicy, very-spicy, mild..... We love the Tomyam Soup, it's really spicy but mouthwateringly delicious!! We have been there many times, and always found consistency in quality, taste and quantity. The servers are well mannered comparing to most of the Hakka restaurants, and it's quite clean. If you like to taste Hakka... it's surely a place to be recommended.

This place is OK! I would only come here because of the fact that they offer halal food otherwise this is a very subpar Asian fusion restaurant with very poor food choices!! we ordered some beef meat and it was extremely hard and very chewy also the curries and chicken dishes seemed like they were made with chicken nuggets dunked in a savory sauce that wasn't even that great! it was definitely not a great experience and after having spent $85 I don't think I will ever come back!!! the only thing that was half decent was the soup which was also covered with tons of Salt! all in all I would rate this a 1/5!!!
