Very rich, green curry, not much spice even tho I ordered level 6. nice Thai milk tea, a little too sweet for my taste however.

Literally the best Thai food in the city. Arguably better than Pai. Which is pretty high up there! Good service, portion sized are excellent, spice levels fantastic. Great place to dine and eat with friends or if you're grabbing takeout.

Recently came back here for dinner with friends. And still confident to say a solid spot for Thai food. I tried their squash fritters for the first time and they were really good. Crispy and flavourful, with a tangy flavour dipped in their plum sauce. It's a great stater to share with everyone at the table. I got the pad see ew again with chicken this time. The medium spice level gave a good kick to it. I love how fresh the rice noodles are. I'd easily get this again many day. My friends got the curry and the pad thai and they both really enjoyed their meal. No reservations allowed but we came on a weekday around 7pm and were able to get a table on the patio right away. The patio chairs weren't very comfortable but we made do.

I'm back two years later and food is just as good, if not better. I ordered the Khao soi and I'm was in heaven from the first sip. The server was efficient and friendly despite how busy they are. I still highly recommend this place.

Came back again recently with a friend who told me that the Pad See Ew here is amazing. He was right! The best i've had! Delicious, and the spice was on point (chose a level slightly over medium? Not the highest. And was a great kick for my spice-loving self). Great ambiance, buzz, customer service as always

PAI for those who don't want to have to reserve a month in advance. I've been to both several times and I'll be honest, they're on the same level. Prices are reasonable and flavors are great. Expect 30 min plus line during weekend evenings, but there's a cozy bar upstairs where you can wait. Service was good overall. Perfect to catch up with friends. Special shout-out to the green curry, the table favorite. We wanted to order more rice just to make the curry last a little longer.

I recently discovered this gem for Thai cusine and I'm in love. It's a cute little restaurant with flavourful authentic Thai dishes. I tried out their Khao San which is a soup and noodles based dish which was amazing!! Everything was on point, from flavours, service and ambiance.

Dont let their plating fool you, the plates and bowls are pretty much bottomless. Ordered their pad thai and the portion appeared normal just like any other places you'd get a pad thai from but digging in you realize there's a massive amount! Big back here and I could not finish the pas thai (first time!). Good taste, quick service, the space is actually huge once you turn around the corner. Not accessible friendly if you're on a scooter.

7 Years Later & Still #1 - Khao San Road is THE Thai GOAT! Revisiting After 7 Years | Still Our Family's #1 Spot Time flies, tastes evolve, new Thai restaurants pop up across the GTA... but one thing hasn't changed: Khao San Road still reigns supreme. Consistency is key, and they have mastered it. A Restaurant That Grew With Us My daughter literally grew up on their rice--and to this day, she refuses to eat it from anywhere else. That's the magic of Khao San Road--a place that has stayed reliable, authentic, and delicious no matter how many times we visit. What Keeps Us Coming Back? Their curries are still unbeatable. My husband swears by their red curry, and while I used to be a green curry fan, I've now shifted to Penang curry--though let's be honest, I'm here for the noodles! Thai Iced Tea - The Best in the City! Just the right balance of sweetness and strength--a must-order every time. Pad Thai, Pad Kee Mao, Pad Gar Pao - Unmatched Flavors! Every noodle and rice dish stands out from the crowd--flavorful, rich, and a cut above the rest. Khao Soi - Still a Showstopper! The creamy, bold flavors of Khao Soi keep it a must-try dish every time we visit. Three Menus: Regular, Vegan & Gluten-Free. A great option for different dietary needs! Room for Improvement - More Vegetarian & Vegan Options? Tom Yum Soup Needs a Veg Version! My husband raves about their Tom Yum, but it has shrimp, so as a vegetarian, I still can't try it. KSR, please make this happen! The Ultimate Pregnancy Craving Spot! When I was pregnant with my first, we used to drive 70km just to have their Pad Thai (which they customized to be pregnancy-friendly with no sprouts, etc.). Now, my kiddo loves their food too--start 'em young, right? (Even from the belly! ) The ONLY Thing That Would Make It Better? Reservations! We drive from Brampton, and the long queues have sent us back more than once. Maybe a reservation system with a small cover charge would help? Final Verdict: 100+ Visits & Still Our Favorite Thai Spot! There may be plenty of new Thai places in the GTA, but nothing beats Khao San Road. After 7 years and 100+ visits, it's still our family's #1. Returning? LOL, always! Just take my money already. #KhaoSanRoadTO #ThaiFoodDoneRight #GTAEats #PadThaiPerfection #FamilyFavorite #FoodieAdventures #BestThaiInToronto

Khao San Road serves solid Thai food. The portions are large, the ambiance is nice, and the service is quick and efficient. I like how you can customize each dish with your choice of protein. There's sometimes daily specials as well. The only con is I found it a bit salty, but I think that's just outside food. I recommend any of the curries and the fritters. There is a good amount of seating (~30+ people) but it does get busy fast. The washrooms are upstairs and so is their sister restaurant/bar.

I came here for dinner with two of my girl friends and we had a great time! There was a bit of a wait when we went, so if you can, be sure to book reservations! The inside of the restaurant is lively and fun, but space can be a bit tight. Service was very friendly and quick. My friends and I ordered the garlic chicken appetizer, khao soi, and bangkok style pad thai. The entrees were a huge portion and the three of us were able to share two entrees and still have left-overs. Everything was phenomenal, with strong fragrant flavors and good textures. Loved this Thai spot and I highly recommend! Next time, I would love to try out their bar and their bar food.

Mediocre food and experience. They were playing 2010's pop music the entire time, which I enjoy but it was a bit too loud. Squash Fritters: I absolutely adore fritters, and its my goto starter at most thai places. But i found them to be a bit overfried. They also served it with a sweet-and-sour sauce, while I prefer something spicier with my fritters. Overall meh. Three Flavours Pad Thai: Good pad thai. Nothing to write home about, but no complaints. Khao Soi: A very boring khao soi. The broth lacked depth and the beef was very boring. It was braised, but had a chewy almost stringy texture.

LOVE the food here. My favourites as someone who cannot handle a lot of spice are the pad see ew and the green curry fried rice. There are no reservations, be prepared for long waits to be seated but food comes pretty quickly after ordering.

We ordered 2 cocktails to start with the tapioca dumplings and green papaya fritters. The drinks came out immediately. I had the Tincture Perfect, which was outstanding. It was the perfect mix of sweet, sour, floral and bitter. I loved it! My husband had the Unit 75 which he really enjoyed. The grapfruit bitters rounded out the sweetness of the Chambord and the sourness of the lemon. We decided to order another cocktail each just as our food arrived. I had the I Have a Lychee Secret. It was a little on the sweet side, but was very yummy. I loved the black pepper on top but didn't really taste much cilantro. My husband had La Passionista which was great. It was so well-balanced and flavourful. The dumplings were AMAZING! The butterly pea infused tapioca gave the perfect bouncy, chewy texture to the outside and the mushroom and radish centres were so tasty. Our waitress explained that they should be eaten in a lettuce cup with cilantro, mint and peanuts. YUM! Such a flavour bomb. The only thing I would have changed would be to add some sort of a spicy, salty, sour dipping sauce like a nuoc cham. The green papaya fritters were also just fantastic. They were crispy, crunchy and the dipping sauce was a little spicy and sweet. All in all, we really enjoyed our meal and would 100% return. I have already reccomended them to others.
