Margherita
Katherine L.

This was such a fun find! My husband, 1 year old, and I went on a Friday early evening (around 5PM). The weather was still nice enough to sit outside, and it was delightful! We got the margherita and sausage pizza. We would definitely go back to try the others! You order at the counter, grab a seat, and then they bring out the pizza to you when it's ready. So in that regard, the pizzas don't come out at the same time, because they are dropped off as they come out of the oven. The pizza was delightful; a chewy crust, and the right amount of cheese/sauce/topping so that you get a good bite each time. Parking was easy, and we saw a mix of groups, including people on dates, groups of friends, and families. We are looking forward to going back!

Everything about humble pie is well...humble. From the freshly grown herbs and vegetables, to the well taken care chicks, and farm to table mission - it's truly a vibe and the best little gem. It's fully outdoors with coverage for the misty days but tbh, I don't even care if I'm misted on bc the pizza is just that good. We got the angry lamb - the crust was crispy and fresh from Their outdoor wood oven. Each ingredient thoughtfully placed and curated for the best bite of pie I can't wait to come back!

Humble Pie is a hidden gem in Seattle! If you're a fan of wood-fired pizza, this place should be at the top of your list. The setting has a cozy, laid-back vibe, and the outdoor patio--with string lights and rustic decor--is perfect for Seattle evenings. The pizzas here are incredible! The crust is the star of the show: thin, crispy, and slightly charred with that perfect wood-fired flavor. They use quality ingredients, and you can taste the difference. The staff recommended the "Whole Hog" meat pie and it was perfect, delicious pulled pork, flavorful prosciutto, crispy bacon with fresh mozzarella, and a tangy tomato sauce. Their seasonal and unique pizza options are always fun to try too. Did you know they had a happy hour? With such a vast menu, I am excited to try more. The staff is super friendly, and service is extremely quick. It feels like they really care about making you feel welcome and making the best pizza in town. Plus, they're eco-conscious--they even have a chicken coop outside where food scraps are recycled. It was late, so I didn't see any chickens, but it's cool to know that they have that! Definitely try their house-made hot honey on your pizza if you like a little sweet kick--it's delicious! Whether you're a local or just visiting, Humble Pie is a must-visit spot in Seattle for pizza lovers.

Food - this is probably one of my new favorite pizza places. I LOVED how many vegetarian options there are and the unique offerings. All the sizes are the same 14"ish. The crust was good too. I got the mushroom, egg, and arugula which was excellent. My partner got the Whole Hog and loved it too. Very tasty and fresh ingredients. We got them as delivery. Service - the pizza was well made and packaged and the order was correct. Ambiance - N/A delivery

Easily some of the best pizzas I've had with amazing vegetarian options! Humble Pie has unique pizza combinations that'll please everyone, vegetarian or not. All pizzas are roughly 14" and have a wonderful crispy, chewy, crust. Service is fast. Plenty of table and bar seating available. Having tried some veg and non-veg pizzas, the vegetarians are definitely on par with the meaty pies. When I tried the Field Roast "Sausage", I thought my partner had ordered a meat pie but it was vegetarian. Crazy right? Wish I got to try the Mushroom, Egg, and Arugula Pizza, but they'd run out of eggs for the night. Random note but if you're being chased by hungry wasps, I suggest eating at the bar tables! Some of my favs are the Field Roast Pizza and Lamb pizza. The sausage and Gorgonzola is also excellent. I might just list the whole menu if I keep coming back.

The crust is thin and cooked to perfection. The service was really fast. Street parking and outdoor seating.

Delicious 14" - Fresh Mozz Margherita Pie and small salad. The food was served fast and fresh. We enjoyed sitting outside.

We enjoyed the delicious Margherita pizza and small kale salad. The ingredients tasted fresh and the service was quick. We enjoyed sitting outside.

Soppressata Pizza

I got the sopressata and eggplant 14 inch pizzas. In total it was about $54 or so. The eggplant pizza was average, not much to write home about, but the sopressata was very flavorful and a little salty from the meat. I wish for the price you'd get more, as the crust was very thin and the toppings seemed lacking, especially on the eggplant pizza. Otherwise, it's a solid pizza place. There's only outdoor seating however so it's not the best place to dine in during colder days. My friend said it looked like a shack. They do raise chickens so you can watch the chickens as you wait for your order to cook up. I have tried their apple pizza before (my roommate's workplace ordered for a meeting and she took some home) and I remember liking that as well.

Yelp reviews brought me here The pizza oven creates these magical pies, slightly charred, crispy, perfect balanced amount of ingredients. They taste fresh too. Had the Roasted Garlic Pie and it packed a punch! Service was friendly and quick. The ambiance was laid back on picnic tables and they have shaded areas, open to the elements. Great spot and pies!

Beautiful little hidden gem, right off busy Rainier street. Was easy to find side parking too. All the tables are outdoors, surrounded by their own mini garden, and grape vines! It was prettt pictureque! They have wonderful happy hour pizza die $6-7 for an entire pie, and regular pizzas for +$20! We tried their margarita and their truffle mushroom pizza. Both super delicious! They are thin crust, and packed with flavor. Also delicious the next day, and that's when you know... a pizza is great!

If you're not coming here on Wednesday's during happy hour, you're doing it wrong. Happy hour is 4-6pm every day I think and it's $7 margherita pizzas and $8 margherita pizzas with fresh mozzarella! Then add on their half off bottles of wine deal on Wednesday and you've got everything you need for a nice hump day meal. I got here around 5:15 and every table was already taken but only had to wait a couple minutes. I'd definitely try to get here on the earlier side because it seemed like people really posted up there to hang out. I got the fresh mozzarella pizza and my partner got the soppressata. The soppressata pizza was so good! The soppressata wasn't too overwhelming like it can sometimes be. The fresh mozz on my pizza was so yummy! I'd say definitely spend that extra $1 to get the fresh mozz and you won't be sorry. The only thing I wasn't a huge fan of was the crust. It tasted kind of like nothing to me for some reason and was just in the way but honestly pretty easy to just not eat the crust. The pizza had good integrity too! It wasn't falling apart in the center like some thinner pizzas can. The pizzas are 14 inches so I think two people could share one but if you're feeling a bit hungry or want leftovers two works too. They were also starting up some live music as we were leaving and it was so nice!

Karin has taken care of us countless times, whether it's a quiet Monday or an absolutely packed one due to the events at the town hall across the street, and they have always been warm, patient, and accommodating. I actually celebrated my birthday here because it's one of my favorite spots. I am part of the large group that one of the recent negative reviews is referring to. It happened immediately after the USA FIFA match, and the restaurant was the busiest I've ever seen it. Despite that, Karin still went out of their way to accommodate our requests that normally wouldn't be possible due to the rush, including trying to help with separate tabs when they'd already explained that large groups would likely need to stay on one check. As for things like grabbing water, silverware, plates, or chili flakes...our table had already gotten those before a majority of the group arrived. It's a casual pizzeria, on one of their busiest days ever. Setting and cleaning up the table (especially when seated outside) is not a problem for our group as we do it every week. Which is why it's upsetting that we opened our spot to someone that left such a nasty review. What stood out to me wasn't poor service. It's that despite how overwhelming it must have been to work post-FIFA, Karin was able to take orders, bartend, serve food, and close out checks with professionalism. Sometimes no matter how much effort someone puts in, not everyone leaves happy. The pizza is fantastic! I love showing up every week and trying what new slice they have come up with (in the year that I've been coming here there legit hasn't been a repeat). The atmosphere is great and the staff, especially Karin, have earned our loyalty over the past year. We'll absolutely continue coming back.

The reason my friends and I keep coming back is the main bartender Karin, who's always so adept at managing large parties w folks coming/going, including being honest with us about if there is time to split checks or order as a table, a pretty common thing at a smaller spot. I was here after recent World Cup game and had great service (compared to the review below by Paula P)! I was actually at the table where Paula came and sat and will say that the majority of our table were provided exceptional service, so it was a shock to read that other review of the same experience. The crust has that perfect balance of chewy and crisp, and the toppings are generous without turning the slice into a mess. You can tell they actually care about what goes out of the kitchen. If you're looking for a good pie in downtown Seattle, Rocco's delivers where it matters most. The service is good overall, and the staff do a nice job. However, keep in mind that Belltown can get pretty busy on weekends, and Rocco's isn't necessarily the place to go if you're looking for a quick meal. When the neighborhood is packed, expect things to take a little longer. My biggest criticism is the price. It feels a bit expensive to pay premium prices for pizza when the atmosphere leans more toward a bar than a traditional sit-down restaurant. The cocktails also fall into the now-standard Seattle price range of $18-$25, which can make a night out add up quickly. Overall, I'd give Rocco's four out of five stars. The pizza is very good, the service is solid, and it's a fun option if you're spending time in Belltown. Just be prepared for a potentially slower experience on busy nights and prices that are on the high side. It's worth a visit, especially if you prioritize good pizza over a quick or inexpensive meal.

The oysters were the main draw for me, and they were totally worth the visit. Old Stove serves them with a savory watermelon sauce in addition to a traditional cocktail sauce--eaten together, it's a flavor explosion that I can't quite describe. We also enjoyed the garlic everything fries, which were delicious! We just had to try a flight to sample the brews. There are some really good beers available here, especially the Belgian blonde, citra pale ale, and the stout. I did not really care for the seasonal sour (grapefruit, I think)--to me, it just tasted like a sour and nothing more, but someone with more interest in sour beers would probably enjoy it just fine. Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. If you can snag a seat outside, you'll get to enjoy the waterfront. Inside, the decor is industrial but fun. Not sure if this runs all the time, but when we were there, the tvs were playing vintage beer ads, which was quite fun. They also sell some pretty good t-shirt designs. Overall, Old Stove Brewing is the perfect combo of good location, good food, and good beer. Definitely recommend a visit when in the Pike Place area!
