Had a great time with my friends, but the karaoke host was kind of a dick. Who cares if you don't put two names for a song you want to sing with a friend? The technology is super slow and mildly difficult to navigate, and he refused to give my friend another mic for a song that another friend wanted to join on after she signed on. Instead of explaining anything like a human being he just pointed to the lengthy instructions on the machine. It's fucking karaoke, it's not that deep. The atmosphere was really fun though and the cocktails were yummy.

Cool small karaoke bar, our server was nice and kept visiting to see if we needed anything, the kj kept the party going, we didn't order any food but the food that came out looked pretty decent. Thedrinks my friends and I had were mixed well.

If you are looking for a place to sing karaoke and have a tiki drink this is it. The decor was really fun and the place is big so you can easily get seats. We didn't get any food, so I can't speak to that. For a drink I got the sailors mule which was not great. I think you have to go full tiki drink and accept the sugar or get a beer here. Seemed like a place we should have gone later in the night. Bartenders were friendly!

Came here because my guy loves it, and I should have known better about ordering a sweet drink, as they're not my preference. I was eager to try a tiki drink, though, and our really kind server picked up on that. They recommended a Mai Tai. They were so welcoming and friendly on a relatively quiet Wednesday night, and I did my best to act happy with my drink, but they sensed my disappointment and offered me a free drink. My guy happily took my mai tai and I ordered a vodka soda, into which I could tell they put good quality vodka :o) So I came away very happy and feeling cared for. I hope to come back on a more rambunctious night, as the atmosphere was still really fun and vibrant and I can definitely see why my guy enjoys it so much on the weekends.

Great Happy Hour! If Cecelia is bartending sit at the bar. She is fun to talk with and makes great cocktails. The Tiki Tea Shot is enchanting. Never had anything like it before. Ambiance is cool and great music.

Dragged out of town friends to this bar because I wanted to do Karaoke. It was a slow night and perfect for a first timer here. Super fun vibe and of course tiki drinks. Signing up to sing is easy and fun. Search by song and or artist. Make a choice and wait for your name to be called. Super fun bar if you want to be a rockstar, I mean pretend to be one. Lol. Good singer, bad singer, just have fun. YOLO and SYOY.

If you find yourself in the same boat (haha, get it? see what I did there? boat ... same boat .. because we were in a boat ... No? Ok, nevermind, moving right along ) ... I recommend you check out Navy Strength, a cute tropical themed bar in the Belltown area of Seattle. We actually came upon them by accident when heading to a local musical event nearby but we were definitely taken to that tropical head space, just sit back, relax, take in the ambiance and music, enjoy a drink and feel the motion of the waves .. or was that from the drink, either way, highly recommend! Being a big fan of the Twin Peaks tv show, my wife was taken by the novelty of a drink called "Fire Walk with Me" and, between both presentation and taste, it definitely didn't disappoint on either level. We didn't think to check the food menu at the time but in hindsight, they look to have some good options worth going back for. They have a Jackfruit slider that can be made vegan. In addition, they have nachos which can be made vegan as well. I reached out to ask about this, instead of vegan cheese, it's prepared with a house peanut sauce, sounds intriguing to me. Last (that I noticed) they have Smoked Almonds and also Marinated Olives, both labelled "V" for vegetarian but I can't imagine what might keep them from being vegan, worth inquiring further on that.

Fun bar with average decor and service. The drinks are creative and taste good too. Went there…read morebecause it was listed as a top five tiki bar in seattle. When we got there, the music was not tiki and the staff when asked said "we aren't a tiki bar... we are more of a tropical bar" I wouldn't avoid this place... but I wouldn't work hard to go here either. Middle of the road.

Rumba is different because not only do they have amazing cocktails, but they also have 780 different bottles of rum that you can try (as of the time of writing this review)! The bartenders are super knowledgeable about rum and they'll help you with your rum exploration journey. Make sure to ask to start a rum map while you're here. Different countries produce different styles of rum, and the rum map allows you to keep track of what you've tried and where it's from. They'll keep your map indefinitely in some filing cabinets in the back so you can always pick it back up on your next visit. The best part is, if you fill out all 60 spaces, you'll get discounts on a special monthly bottle! The food here is also pretty good. I love the empanadas. They're baked but the crust is made from puff pastry, so it's super flakey and buttery. The pollo has an amazing pepper jack cheese flavor and the beef patty is rich and curry spiced. The yuca fries are also great. They're freshly fried, super crispy, and the aioli is bright and delicious.

Our bartender let us know from the jump that he was newer, but I wouldn't have known if he didn't say anything. the bar quickly filled up and I could tell he was busy, but we felt well taken care of throughout our visit. We also asked for a more guided experience, which I have to say he delivered on! He apologized for a "bare bones" explanation, but I found him extremely helpful and thoughtful. The flaming birthday daiquiri shot was a lovely touch. Also, get the tuna tostadas!! They are so, so delicious and I could have eaten many of them. They have some decent happy hour drink deals. The ambience is like an elegant rum library--not quite the over-the-top tiki experience (which is accessible near the entrance ;), but is a lovely place to stop in or to pregame visiting Kiki next door.

It was a Friday afternoon, so there was no one else there but us The ambiance of the place was so chill with the wispy octopi and blowfish that was reminiscent of the Crusty crab, if it was allowed to mature and become refined. The food was great but the drinks were phenomenal. The key component was the master bartender that just happened to be on shift that day. Michael. Talk about being someone who has a passion for their craft, being a master and loving every minute of it. The history of the drinks and their components, the origins of the makers, the sensory experience of the bitters and personal stories that went into every drink that he made. Some of them on the menu and some of them not. I asked for a rye whiskey drink and he produced the most amazing manhattan I've ever had. I inquired about Mezcal and he made me a drink that embodied the structured flavors of smoke and leather with sweet and savory. And then there was absinthe. The original Zombie was a fine introduction to that, and it did not disappoint, but he had a plan for each path. We will absolutely be back for more.

We've been here a few times and always enjoyed their food, drinks, and service. Their cocktails are amazing and pairs well with the chill atmosphere. Seating is spacious and is perfect for group gatherings. Cocktails are undeniably their forte. Their menu features 13 cocktails, however their bar has a decent collection and can certainly create more than what is listed on the menu. My favorites are The Original Zombie, Painkiller, and Jungle Bird. The Original Zombie has a limit of 2 per customer and for a very good reason. They also have a kiddie cocktail menu featuring 4 drinks. And yes, they're non-alcoholic. Their food is also noteworthy. I tried their Tokyo Tots, Nui Nui Banh Mi, Big Wave Brussels Sprouts, and Saigon Kick Chicken Tenders. The Banh Mi was decent and was served with a side of mac salad. The chicken tender was spicy and was topped with pickled carrots and daikon radish. The brussel sprouts were crispy and flavorful. Our server was very attentive and always checked in on our table. Overall, a great neighbor spot. They do have a happy hour menu and is worth checking out.
