    Raspberry & mango

I liked the vibe and ambiance of this spot a lot, and the drinks were also pretty good. We found this place when walking around cap hill on a Friday night and it seemed to have a pretty good crowd. Luckily we were able to get a booth to sit at before it got much more crowded later in the night. For drinks we got the last mango in paris and raspberry beret. Between the two I think I liked the raspberry more since it had an especially unique tea flavor due to the sweet tea vodka. The mango one was less sweet and was also pretty pleasant. For a nice spot to talk, I would definitely come back here.

Funky bar! We did not try the food so cannot speak to that, but drinks were low frills and got the job done. They were out of the seasonal cocktail noting it was very good haha so I just got a vodka soda. We did the photo booth and bought a t-shirt because we liked the design. Good music!

Nice bartender and DJ playing vinyl records. Has a fun astrology wheel to spin. It does take extremely long to stop and is partially weighted but fun! The drinks and vibes are good. Not too crowded.

Great ambience. They have amazing vinyl music all the time and they have great collection of it. We got the drop shots and they all were super good. They have huge sitting area. Overall well priced drinks, amazing staff and great service.

Was walking by with some friends one afternoon, when the thirst hit, and this place caught our eye. So, in we went for a pre-dinner drink, and we were all immediately immersed in the warm colors of the place, the wall art, and the throwback music mixing in with the atmosphere. Although the place was buzzing with customers, the staff never lost their cool, the epitome of quirky and attentive. Truly, a place that can only germinate and thrive in Seattle. I'm definitely adding this bar to my list of places to show out-of-towners, as it captures some of the best features of Seattle's nightlife: unpretentious, charming, and memorable! And if you are a music lover, this place has vinyls!!!! I was told you can actually request songs you wanna listen to! But you must be wondering why I'm ranting on everything but the drinks in a bar review. Are the drinks bad? Not in the least! They were strong and so delicious!!!! And this wasn't just my opinion! One of my friends that night is a professional bartender, and he loved the drinks! Seriously, the drinks were great, the colors intense, but let's go back to the music for a final round. I'm sure I heard some Beatles and Led Zeppelin, but I'm definitely going back, and SOON!, to test their claim of having a "vast collection of records". Besides the familiar songs, I didn't know a lot of the other artists, which made it not only fun, but also educational. Now, when was the time you went to a bar, and got free music lessons? :P

Visited Seattle last week staying in Cap Hill and wandered down the road and saw a good amount of people in here. I immediately saw why... Such a great selection of Spirits/draft beer and even small bites if you're hungry. Had me some great Manhattans and delicious Hazy IPA and felt so happy to be there. Went back the next night and this became my favorite bar in the area. Love the outside tables to have a cigarette and enjoy the Cold weather.

We weren't here for very long. Just killing some time before karaoke. Super chill little bar and I always love bars with a little section of arcade games which is upstairs. The lady at the bar was super friendly and attentive and she had cool hair too. We don't come to this area too often but definitely will be coming back

Jammed packed on a Friday night, this is the place to be! Okay beer selection, reasonable prices. The fried mushrooms weren't much to rave about, but I really appreciate the fact that they were fried properly and didn't get all soggy! The staff was friendly enough. I don't know if I'm into their food, but they're definitely a great spot for drinkage and tunes!

What an AMAZING spot. This bar is nice and was a lovely stop on a Saturday afternoon. You walk in to some spooky vibes with fun Halloween decor. They had a vinyl record collection hanging out behind the bar and a friendly bartender. I had the bellwitch, a vegan pumpkin White Russian. I'll definitely stop by next time I'm in Seattle!

We tried the Japanese Breakfast, which is a savory cocktail and such a pleasant surprise. It genuinely has miso soup notes. It's very unique and creative. I also had El Boho (flavorful but not overly sweet). The staff are always friendly and very knowledgeable when it comes to recommending drinks. The First Gentleman was attentive and we got our drinks and an appetizer timely. We ordered our second appetizer with our first server and thats where the service deteriorated. I could hear the table next to us ordered the exact same appetizer as we did 10-15 mins after we did and a new server who must had just clocked in brings them the order literally within 2-3 mins later and the male commented, "oh that was fast" and I thought to myself they got our order. Another 10-15 mins go by and I had to ask "do you know how long our order will take to which she seemed to get annoyed. It could have my energy because by that time I was annoyed. I'm not sure what happened to our original server but he must have gotten off. About 5-10 mins goes by and here it comes. That confirmed the table next to us got our order because of how long it took. They never apologized for their mistake. Doing all that time they never came back to see if we would like another drink. I had to flag someone down. The clincher was we got our bill and there was 22% service charge. That was on me because if I would have seen it I might not have gone. I'm not a fan of automatically charging a service charge. I'm a great tipper but it must be earned. By than I was really annoyed and thought to have a conversation with the manager but let it go. I would not go back. The craft cocktails are spendy but I had no problem with that because they're creative and they earned it by being creative. But the energy and the environment wasn't like the other speak easy bars I visited. It was boring and to top it off the service charge of 22% and the service that came with it sealed it for me. Make sure to read the website on their thought around the 22%.

When the city reopened in 2021, I was eating here almost every day; partly because of convenience, but mainly because the food and service never miss. I've hosted everything here: birthday celebrations, after-work hangs, and dinners with friends and colleagues. Every single time, it's a hit. People walk in, fall in love with the vibe, and walk out talking about the food. The consistency is unreal. They even order food to go. The flavors? Bold, intentional, and layered in a way that makes each dish feel crafted, not just cooked. The presentation is always stunning; plates that look as good as they taste. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in what they send out. Drinks are equally impressive. Their cocktails are balanced and creative, the kind that make you slow down just to appreciate the mixology behind them. And for anyone planning group outings: reservations here are a breeze. They're incredibly accommodating with large parties, and the service stays sharp even when the place is packed. Attentive, friendly, and perfectly paced; they know how to take care of people. Dead Line checks every box: atmosphere, flavor, presentation, service, and seamless hosting for big groups. All the flavors worked so well together and the arepa itself was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The pork was sweeter due to the marinade and not salty at all which i preferred. Roquette was a surprisingly small space with a wonderful vibe serving up "destination" bar-worthy cocktails. It reminded me of some of the neighborhood gem cocktail bars that I'd frequented on the East Coast. I grabbed a seat at the bar. Roquette's lineup of cocktails were varied in flavor profile using a wide range of spirits. They also served non-alcoholic offerings which looked equally intriguing as their boozy selections. I started off with the 99 Problems ($28), which, unfortunately, I forgot to note what was in the drink. It was boozy, clever, inventive, and most importantly delicious. My second drink was the Imperium Old Fashioned ($24) made with Westland Whiskey "Roquette" Barrel, Clement Cask Strength Rhum, Old Delicious Apple Brandy, Pineapple, and Spice. It was an excellent, boozy, balanced update to the classic Old Fashioned. Although I went with drinks off their menu, I have no doubt that any of their skilled bar professionals could've crafted me a wonderful cocktail if I had simply requested a classic or something on the fly based on my choice of spirit and desired flavor profile. Yes, the prices on the two drinks I ordered were pretty steep, but they were comparable to prices I've paid in Las Vegas. Plus, I don't have a problem with paying a premium for a well-made cocktail made with premium ingredients in a comfortable, welcoming setting (the drunken guy next to me who tried to engage with me in a political discussion excluded). Bottom-line: Roquette was a revelation. It served up two of the best cocktails that I've had this year.
