Dive time at streamline! Came here on a Packed Saturday night for some drinks and I remarked to the doorman that it looked like New Years in here. He got a good chuckle out and was real mellow which for me seems to be a good sign of a place. Right off the bat I was surprised how cheap the drinks are here. Surprised at how awesome it is. I got the first round for me and a friend and it was only $15! These were mixed drinks too, I'm used to paying that much for just 1 not 2! Following that, they were pretty good too, considering how mobbed the barkeep was. Again this place is DIVEY - drabby, low lit, old and shabby looking furniture and just looks overall worn, save for the stickers and such plastered all over as if to help hide it. Even the sign outside looks it would be at some roadside stop. I had some wings which were pretty good. Some were fat and saucy. Chatted up some of characters who let's just say they were at the end of their streamlines and fit right into to the atmosphere. One of whom looked like Tommy Wiseau. Maybe it was him? Fun spot. Would go back for the drinks for sure.

After and hour and a half flight to Seattle, three of us took an Uber to our Airbnb and unpacked. We were ready for a cold one at a nearby bar. This place was right around the corner and upon entering we were greeted by the bartender and grabbed a seat at the large bar. After getting some good information about local places to eat/drink, we downed a couple of beers and were off to get some fish and chips. Nice people at this dive bar and a good start to what we all hope is a great trip in Seattle.

This place has got to be one of Seattle's best dive bars. From the interior and exterior looks of it...it's an old house wooden house. Warm and cozy with dark moody lighting, a long classic old bar where when seated you can see everything , almost everywhere all at once. X mas lights hanging from the walls, old classic neon booze lights, booth tables, a couple of flat screens,,, music on the PA but the cacophony of bar chatter drowns it all out. It's a few minutes from the Climate Pledge Arena( aka formerly Key Arena).Lots of locals and a several out of towners like myself. Me loves it. Talk about frenetic energy and good vibes! Good bang for your buck .

First off dive bars are my go to bars. This is as divey as it gets; local regulars, pool, Smokey smell, punk decor and cheap drinks. I stopped here while In town for work to people watch and grab a couple drinks and am glad I did. Streamline had a great vibe, great bartender, cheap drinks and made me wish I was a regular.

I love dive bars and Streamline didn't fail. Free street parking can be found. Credit cards are accepted in the bar (located upstairs) area. The kitchen (located downstairs) accepts cash only. Happy hour is offered in the bar daily from 4pm-7pm. A barrel of peanuts (self-serve) is available to snack on while slurping. On Thursday's, beef and bean tacos are $1 from 5pm-11pm. Streamline doesn't offer table-service. Drinks orders are placed and picked up at the bar. Food orders are placed at the kitchen window. Food orders are dropped off at ones' table (the cook will "find you"). Streamline doesn't have AC so expect to sweat during warm days. Tables are on the small side so the fit is snug. A single pool table is located downstairs for those interested in shooting pool. An outdoor patio/deck is available for smokers or for those wishing to sit outdoors. Pints of Manny's were $4 (hh). My wife and I shared the Chicken Strip Basket w/ Tots for $8. Perfect bar grub. Staff are blunt, unapologetic and real. Perfect to me. Patrons were all over the spectrum. You could tell that everybody just wanted to have a good time while slurping on an ice-cold brew. Thank you Streamline for keeping it real and unpretentious. I/we will find ourselves in your bar before every Key Arena event going forward.

They have games, an ATM to get quarters to play the games, free condoms box above the quarter ATM. And my favorite part a Photo Booth! A great bar to me has a Photo Booth, street fighter, and private booths. This has it all. Love how we can have fun playing games, taking pics, choosing a song, and having great conversations in the comfy booths. Service is helpful. One night one of the games ate our quarters up and never worked so we let the bartender know and a few minutes later he gave us our quarters back. Staff is efficient and keeps the bar clean picking up any left behind glasses quickly. The bar is quirky and fun. Private and comfy booths, and lots of clowns everywhere. Sad clowns, happy clowns, creepy clowns, and more clowns than you can count! The bathrooms are unisex with plenty of stickers to look at. Always hand soap and toilet paper available even when busy. Hard working staff! Some areas of the bar like near the bathrooms have flashy lights and makes it feel like you're at the circus. The vibe is laid back and care free. Have yet to try the food so no words on that quite yet! Always a great time at Shorty's. Literally one of my favorite bars! Highly recommend!

The bartender said Screwdriver Bar. I looked it up, closed my tab, and walked over to Screwdriver Bar which was a short walk back to my hotel. Score! First off don't get confused. There is one (1) door attendant possibly for two venues?! I want to say there was a venue on top of this bar. Either way I saw Screwdriver Bar was downstairs so be sure you kinda know where you are going. Screwdriver Bar is (seemingly) free from a cover. I walked down the steps and entered a whole world of vinyl records, throw back artwork and memorabilia that filled the very top of the ceiling all the way down to the tables and floor. This spot made me feel welcomed right off the bat with laughter, people dancing, and a busy bar staff serving up all the drinks from tallboys to fancy hand shaken cocktails. I really enjoyed my time here when I visited. On the menu I thought I saw a dumpling type of food situation going on. This is…read moreparticularly the case after 3 AM, but that's where this cafe shines as the light in a sea of darkness, welcoming in people from around the city who just want sustenance after a night of mostly alcohol. It serves comfort food - classic breakfast diner items that can bring a person back from the dead. The eclectic fellows that inhabit this establishment in the wee hours of the morning come in all shapes and sizes, but they just have one goal - eat something greasy and satisfying. That's where this place delivers. I ended up here at slightly after 3 AM - and it was pretty packed. All the tables were full, and we were considering leaving after about ten minutes when one finally opened up. The servers are incredibly busy, and it took us about 15 minutes to actually get our order in. I got the cheese curds as my meal. These were easily the best cheese curds I've ever had. In Seattle, I've had a few instances of cheese curds that are relatively sad on the inside - they have a decent fry, but fail on the cheese aspect. That's absolutely not the case here. This cheese is amazing. It's the perfect level of squeakiness, and the stretch is unreal. It has a very unique flavor that you'll only find in cheese curds, that soft yet milk-like taste that's so addicting. It was melty, gooey, and hot inside. The taste was just pure heaven - I was shocked at how good these were. The fry on the outside is also so good. It's light yet so crispy; a beautiful golden brown that produces an amazing crunch when you eat it. Just phenomenal. The sauce provided with this was solid, but honestly I didn't even need it as the curds were amazing by itself. I tried some of the chicken fried steak as well. This was fine. The scrambled eggs were decent, but the hash browns felt a little limp and soggy. The steak itself was pretty average. The prices here aren't too bad either - my cheese curds were around $16, but the portion size was more than enough. Overall, this is a true late night classic that serves pretty great food as well. 8.75/10

We came here to eat because it was near our hotel. I was OBSESSED with the crab nachos. 2 months later, I moved out here all on my own. Now, 8 years later, I live nearby. Whenever someone is visiting, we come here. Whenever I run into a stranger visiting, i say they have to come here. My friends know if i'm celebrating anything, "are you getting crab nachos?!" It's become a part of my personality at this point. I have so much respect for the owners, the way they run their business and their honesty online. No one I've brought here has had a bad thing to say regardless of what they ordered. My go to is: Pull apart bread, crab nachos (with their hot sauce!! which, btw can i buy that by the bottle.. cause YUM) + whatever drink is calling my name (they rotate, but if you can get the pina colada you won't regret it). tldr; you'll regret NOT coming here.

I underestimated the attractiveness of Happy Hour where many drinks are $1 to $3 off. The place was full and became even fuller (and louder) by the end of our meal. This bar is hopping with many regulars, alcohol-filled, with multiple screens televising sports. When we went in October, the food menu says the food is discounted 25% off during certain late hours. The current online menu doesn't say that anymore. Not sure if that deal is still available. Our server was easygoing. Note they charge 3% for credit card use. The Food: SRB Burger, $22 - 3 Stars Menu: Painted Hills beef, burrata mozzarella, basil aioli, arugula, pickled onions, hand cut fries Per the menu description, this burger sounded great. Unfortunately for hubby, this burger has the exact pet peeve that he dislikes the most - where the patty is small and tall (he calls it ball shape) compared to the bun. The patty diameter is significantly smaller than the bun. He literally hates that. I had to tilt the camera much lower to see the patty inside. On the plus side, the fries are great. Grilled Shrimp Club, $24 - 3.5 Stars Menu: bacon, lettuce, tomato, house made guacamole, roasted chipotle aioli, hand cut fries This club sandwich is very good except for the one thing that the menu didn't specify - the bun. They use ciabatta bread, which I find doughy, thick, and overwhelms a sandwich. That is my pet peeve for a sandwich. Neither of us is betting well on this night. They are probably more of a 3.5 Stars overall. We find their prices to be high, especially since they additionally charge a credit card fee. When we went, the cost was $21, $23 respectively. The prices are now $22 and $24 per online menu. I would not return for food only. I would return for a bar vibe.
