Came here around 5:10 PM on a sunday and waited about an hour on the waitlist before receiving a…read morecall that our table for 2 was ready. The restaurant had a very unique interior that felt very authentic. We ordered the dual flavor pot with mild and tomato broths. They were both delicious, but we especially liked the tomato broth. Be aware that even the mild broth is relatively spicy. We also decided to pay an additional $1.95 each for the self serve dipping sauce station, which we definitely found to be worth it. We ordered napa cabbage, wide potato noodles, potato slices, enoki mushrooms, milky beef, streaky pork, black fish, and beef tongue. We found this to be a lot of food for two people, and the final bill came out to around $110. Our favorite meats were definitely the beef tongue and the milky beef. The milky beef was so tender, and we liked the slight chew of the beef tongue. The black fish and the streaky pork did not stand out as much, and I would want to try something new next time. This was definitely one of the best hot pot experiences I've ever had. You can tell that they put a lot of care into laying out the ingredients, and the staff are very attentive at adding hot water to the broth regularly. Definitely worth the wait, price point, and commute from the city!

The interior feels warm and cozy and very well decorated, like you're actually eating in a historical location in China. It feels like someone's hone. The food is delicious- can't go wrong with anything, I especially loved the shrimp paste. Great service for both English and Chinese speakers. The waiter even took a picture of us! I wouldn't come again since it was so expensive and the wait time was so long but I felt like this was a very special experience. Glad I got to try this place after hearing it hyped up.

Our daughter took us here while we were visiting NY for her graduation for Wagyu Shabu. I normally…read moredon't like places with many prices, but since our daughter chose it so we enjoy with her. The prices on the windows are very confusing and more like false advertising for me, the lower prices are for the members which we're not since this is our first time and definitely our last, unless our daughter wants to come here again. So the price is the more expensive one. For me, I prefer straight forward pricing, so this didn't give me good vibes, it's not the money, just the way they advertising and we have to know what we can only have with the price we chose. The restaurant just gives us the specific menu for what we selected to have then we don't have to be denied for what we chose because we selected gold instead of top of the line menu. The place is clean and nice. For $78/per person and only have Australian Wagyu Beef (not really Wagyu) then it's over priced. We did have some premium beef which I liked because of the marble of fat on the beef quite tender and tasty, but only a sampler or whatever they called it. Service with one person is quite inadequate but she's very attentive and pleasant, since she had to run the whole restaurant, sometimes forgets things. The tomato broth was good and everyone liked it. The seafood plate is OK and our sweet shrimps are sweet. Some snow crab legs, jumbo shrimps, fish fillets, nothing to make me go wow. The appetizers tempura is crispy and good. The raw octopus is tasty. The vegetables are fresh and clean. After they denied me the premium beef sampler, I let my daughter to order everything else and I just enjoyed with the family. My daughter seemed to be happy and ate a lot, so I was happy. I've eaten enough shabu, hot pot to know that Australian or American Wagyu are overrated, many of them are tough and chewy, not as tender as normal ribeyes or Brisket that I like. This restaurant Wagyu beef does have marbles of fat in it, so it's tender and not so chewy. So, for the GOLD menu, I don't think it's worth the $78 but for special occasions, it's OK. I just don't like the confusion of many menu, many prices, and not getting my own menu and get denied for something on the menu because I didn't pay enough.

A wonderful experience with the family and our son! They really set the bar high for great food and…read moreservice! We had a pretty large table and upon entering we were seated pretty quickly. You place your order on a tablet and then as the food comes out you can check out their sauce bar which also had egg rolls, fruit, jelly dessert, and some other items! Ambiance is casual and relaxed. They gave us aprons to wear to protect our clothes which we appreciated and they even had a mini one for our baby who was in a booster seat on the booth! Love their tom yum, tomato, and house regular broth. We ordered a ton of meat and veggies. Of course we also got the dancing noodles which was both delicious and very fun to watch. The staff was so nice to our baby! They gave him a free toy and also some kids food!

Seated very quickly and got the lay of the land. Ordered on the iPad. It is not all you can eat so items can add up quickly. Items are usually delivered with the robot. The soup base came by a server. Staff is very nice and checks in occasionally without rushing. Pork stomach and chicken broth was very flavorful. This can double as a soup dish. Ordered wagyu which was buy one get one free. It's a good deal since a decent amount came. The Angus short rib wasn't bad either. Lobster isn't usually what I order at hotpot but added a touch. Taro was flavorful. Even though it's a la carte, one can get filled fast. There is ice cream, fruit and jelly to seal the deal. Got some cute toys for saying the magic words to the wait staff. Big clean open space. Enjoyed for lunch since it wasn't overly busy.

There's often a long wait on weekends, especially during the peak lunch and dinner hours. Lucky for us, we usually eat early dinner around senior hours of 4pm-5pm and less waits. Our kids go to Goldfish swim school which is literally across from the restaurant. This is the most convenient choice for us to sit down and have a quick hotpot meal. The food quality is one of the best around the area in my opinion. The broth is comparable to the other ones around Flushing. You order via a tablet and the food comes out fairly quick. The service has been great every time we been here. The sauce station carries some snacks as well, such as pigs ear, seaweed salad, peanuts. I think this may change from time to time. I also recall them charging everyone $2 to access the sauce station when they first opened, but I didn't see that on my bill last week. Overall, this is a 5 out of 5 for quality, service, convenience, and overall experience. The space is big and you're not being crammed next to another party.
