VIP Premium $36.99pp, all you can eat. I was pretty disappointed with Mikiya Wagyu Shabu House so I didn't have much hope for this place however it was surprisingly A LOT better than for 3 times LESS the cost. The meats are OK for the price you're paying for. Their sauce selection has more variety than Mikiya which is one of the things I value most in any hotpot places.

Food/drinks: biased review cause hot pot is my favorite food, so I'm already happy before I've tried it lol Solid selection of veggies, seafood, etc in their self serve bar! I also like the other treats like white fungus papaya soup and breads Liked the original broth and tomato broth was just okay Would definitely come back again Wouldn't get pork, strange flavor Atmosphere: cute! Very clean and lots of seating, got lucky with a table because I came on weekday! But normally, I heard the wait is long Service: quick! Price: very very affordable!! AYCE!

Such a lovely bustling environment! It was quite full on a Saturday night but we still only had to wait less than 10 min as a party of 2. You can add yourself to the Yelp waitlist kiosk check in right by the front, and there's space to wait inside while you wait for a text. Once they call your name/text they ask you which AYCE you like, and then seat you and you can pick your soup base(s), and protein. Everything else is self serve! Including all the veggies and other proteins, and sauces and drinks and hot apps. The dumplings are VERY good, very crispy. They give you a bib upon request which I really needed - amateur move of mine of wearing all white to hot pot. They also re-up you on protein very quickly. My only sadness is that they don't have enoki mushroom or fish roe fishball, and that would truly be the only deterrent I have for coming back. Super reasonably priced at $28 for AYCE!

This was my first time trying happy lamb at this location. This location is much bigger than the one in Chinatown. They have more buffet options for you to choose from. I enjoyed the lo mein noodles, the fried rice and the chicken wings. They also had fresh white rice that was excellent to pair with our hot pot meats. Along with edamame, a multitude of sauces and soy sauce. This location was all you can eat for real. The broth was consistent in taste it was good. They have so many drink options and dessert options. I can't wait to go back. My favorite was the lo mein noodles. That was my first time ever trying them. They were delicious! At this location, the service was much better. The employees were way more nicer and accommodating to your needs. The cleanliness of this location was up to par. I absolutely will be back for more!

I enjoyed this hot pot so much.It will be my new AYCE hot pot place with the prices being decent the meat quality being great and the selection of AYCE ingredients is so broad.Wish they had lotus root. You have to select the meat first band you only get one time to but that wasn't a big deal for me as the service was good and the restaurant felt so calming.would come back here again!!

It's worth the price if you love meat and seafood! The wait is not too bad at all even they are busy

Come hungry and come early. For peak days and hours expect to wait. Once you enter be sure to put your name on the waitlist. Everyone must be present to be seated. Happy Lamb has a good selection of hot pot favorites. From your classic fish balls, vegetables, thin sliced meats, and the interesting offal (various organs) selections. They also had good hot bar appetizers such as fried dumplings, fries, various fried pancakes, and more. They also have hot desserts like steam buns with sweet fillings, dessert soups, and fried buns with condensed milk. The cold desserts are typically slices of cake and fruits. The sauce bar has a comprehensive selection for your mixing needs. Happy Lamb doesn't have the same choices everyday. They rotate out certain vegetables and meats. Some days they might enoki mushrooms and some times they won't. It's a lively place, people will be getting up to get refills on food and drinks. It can get quite messy at the drink section. Overall it's a tasty option that doesn't break the bank. No frills type of vibe. Go to your table order your broth (pro tip: order the best of both worlds broth and choose whichever two broths you want, you do not have to get its default choices) and then go get your ingredients. Certain tables also have seats where you can put your jackets in (that hot pot smell is powerful). Come hungry and gobble it all up.

This review is for weekend dinner. Overall this is a solid option for hot pot. I came here on a whim because the spot I originally wanted to go to had a 3+ hour wait. I walked in with a party of 6 around 6:20pm on a Saturday and was seated immediately. However by 8pm there was quite a long line of people waiting for tables. I'd recommend getting here before 7pm to avoid a wait. This is AYCE. You can pay extra to order from the "VIP menu" - I recommend because you get wagyu, fish ball roe, among other things. You get the table for 90 tables and it actually is plenty of time. Aside from the VIP menu, all other toppings are self serve. They have a good selection of veggies, meatballs, noodles and they have a sauce bar. Soup bowls are for the table, not individual, but you can split and do half and half. Meal comes with soft serve ice cream.

Amazed by this place! I knew of this hotpot place as it's been opened for a while now but did not try till now since there's so many hotpot places in downtown flushing. They have diff sets of AYCE, from $21.99 weekdays for vegetables, sidebar and drinks, to $25.99 weekdays to include meat. These are their discounted promotion prices, which is a great price already. There's an additional promotion of $20.99 for those ages 55+ (bring your id). They had a variety of meat selection, but was blown away by how much variety the side bar/vegetables had. They had a range of fishballs (beef ones always the best!), tripe, tofu, fish, noodles, mushrooms, a good amount of varied greens, some fried food, and a little desserts. We went in on a weekday at 12:45pm and were seated quickly. Service was also quick as you only order meats and alcoholic drinks through them. It seemed like everyone spoke mandarin, but unsure since I didn't try English there at the time. Place is also very clean and new considering it's been opened for a while now. It's super spacious with numerous tables of ~4ppl a table. Note that you can set the level of heat of the hotpot at the side of the table towards the hall. All the vegetables and meat cuts were great except what I'm assuming to be beef. I know there are fatty beef but this one was like 80-90% fat, in which the English menu doesn't list it to be fatty beef as well. Their desserts also seem to be lacking. The coffee sponge cake is pretty safe if you do want something sweet tho. But overall, everything else was amazing in my opinion!!

This is the best affordable ayce hotpot. I recommend the house special ayce. Beyond that, it's not really worth it for the price. Value ayce is best for the vegetarians since there is plenty of veggies in the buffet/cold bar. I have gotten all three tiers.

One of my favorite hotpot spots in Flushing @happylambhotpot truly hits the spot every time! They serve an 8-hour slow-cooked bone marrow broth that's rich, comforting, and packed with flavor. It's all-you-can-eat hotpot with a premium selection of lamb, Wagyu, seafood, and more -- all freshly sliced in-house. With over 100 locations in 11 countries, Happylamb is a global favorite, and the Flushing location is a gem. They even sell their take-home soup kits on Amazon so you can recreate the experience at home! Unbeatable price, huge variety, and top-notch quality -- easily the best AYCE hotpot in Flushing. You'll love it here as much as I do!

Food is always good here. We always have an amazing experience. You can never leave hungry, if you do, you did something wrong. Sometimes their bubble tea machines are on, sometimes they are off. Their dinner desserts are always different. When we went, they had steamed taro buns, mango mousse, edamame and fried chips. Staff is attentive and busy at all times. This is our favorite ayce hot pot buffet! We don't go anywhere else.

Two of us had hotpot on Sunday. We are regular customers. We used to go once a week, but this time I had already given a cash tip of $13 and this guy took another $13 from my credit card. After that, I called the restaurant and told the manager that they had charged me an extra $13 and that they should refund my money. When I asked them, they said that no such transaction had taken place on Sunday. I have put the proof here. You guys can see how stupid the people at this restaurant are. The manager and the people working here are very rude. That's why you should check your credit card balance carefully after eating here. This is the rudest restaurant I've seen in New York City. What kind of workers don't have any shame in charging extra money to customers? The manager is unprofessional and doesn't speak English well, does she know how to greet and say goodbye to customers. Thank goodness this restaurant is still open. Please don't go to this restaurant from now on. They really cheated me. You might make a living by cheating me out of 13 dollars. stupid Another thing is how embarrassing it would be if the manager said I'll return it tomorrow and gave it to me tomorrow, but the next day there was no transaction. What a shame old lady women I hate and you don't feel ashamed when you lie and cheat others.silly old lady and Look at your eyes, they're cracked or not. I've also posted a photo of proof of you . Is Sunday here or not? Crazy

Great place. Amazing food. You need to wait a bit to get a spot, but it's worth the wait. Recommended if you like Spicy and Asian food.

Ask the Community - Happy Lamb Hot Pot

Do they still offer glass noodles?

There are few different types of noodle in the buffet area. I think there is glass noodles.

Do they serve for one person or someone eating alone? Has anyone went there to eat alone before?

I am sure they can give you one type of broth only if you'll be eating alone. I was thinking one day of going by myself as well.

    Is it street parking only?

Yes. There is a large unassociated parking lot across the street, but you need to pay

Do they have a vegetarian broth?

    Yeah.

Does the restaurant do any birthday special or promo?

    no they do not

Has any one went there this year? And is the ayce still available?

    Yes

Are they still doing the AYCE special?

They have all AYCE hot pot Mon - Thurs. They also acept their Groupon for the AYCE!

How it is compared to the one in Manhattan?

    Do they have lunch specials?

Yes they do. Currently 13.95 for meat and veggies and noddles and soup!

    Are there vegetarian options?

Yes! You can get menu options without meat. They have plenty of vegetables to go around!

Is this a byob hot pot?

    No. I don't think so

    When is the AYCE offered?

They are currently offering all you can meat for 16.95 from Tue to Fri after 5pm. The type of meat is very limited (fatty beef, sliced chicken breast, sliced lamb shoulder, sliced fish, pork korobuta). I think this kind of specials run starting from… Read more

Is the Summer crazy Tuesdays available yet? I called them in the winter and they said to wait until the Summer. I really want to try the lamb dumplings and the buns on the AYCE.

Does anyone know if this place is open/ when are they opening back up or is it Permanently closed?

Apparently under renovation. Had to check the main website to make sure since since it's been way longer than anticipated. It just sucks because they aren't being transparent. The Bowery location can't compare :/

Is it all you can eat in the winter also or just a summer thing?

Its not all you can eat. And its open year round.

Cuisine: 6 Service: 7…read moreDecor: 4 Value: 7 I have not been here in a long time. Maybe because the prices are no longer considered cheap eats. Or maybe because my taste buds have evolved over the years. Or maybe it's just not as good as it used to be. The answer is maybe all three and somewhere in the middle. I have never came here, or any other Latino-Chinese restaurants in NYC, for service or decor, so let's set that aside. The value is still somewhat there, but the food did not hit that nostalgic note I was looking for. I wanted to get the Fried Pork Chops (Chuletas De Cerdo Frita), but our server suggested the "juicier" Broiled Pork Chops (Chuletas De Credo Asada) instead. Sorry to report, if that's juicy, then how dry is the fried pork chops? I shutter at the thought. It was also under seasoned. I substituted the House Fried Rice for my side at an $4.50 additional fee. It was just okay and not worth the upgrade. Boneless Crispy Fried Chicken (Chicharron De Pollo) was also a disappointment. The batter was more hard than crispy, but the idea that boneless dark meat isn't more juicy simply tells me that the chef over fried the pieces. It came with Fried sweet plantains, which could have been a but more ripe but not bad. I'm not sure how I feel about the Beef Stew (Carne Guisada), which had relatively tender meat, but the sauce was so weak and lacked any real flavor. The black beans and white rice that came with it was decent. What might bring me back to this restaurant sooner rather than later was the Shrimp Egg Foo Young (foo Young Con Camarones). I felt that the eggs were cooked extremely well, but the star of the show was that delicious brown sauce full of umami. Having this over white or fried rice made this meal much more acceptable. I'm not sure when I'll have another craving for this type of food. If I do, I'll definitely get the egg foo young again. However, the other dishes were misses for me, so maybe I'll try the Fried Pork Chops and Shredded Beef in Tomato SayceRopa Vieja.

It's amazing to step into this restaurant, it's like stepping into another world where anything is possible. I feel like home whenever I come here. I ordered the cured pork with garlic shoots and dry fried green beans. The cured pork was quite salty, and paired well with the buttery, tender leeks it was cooked with. The dish was not overly oily, and was pleasant over white rice. I enjoyed the chewiness of the pork which allowed you to experience the complex flavor. The green beans were well fried, with characteristic texture signature to this dish. The seasoning was very well balanced and not overpowering to the natural sweetness of the green beans. I would recommend either dish. They were both slightly toned down iterations when compared to the times I've eaten these dishes at other Sichuan restaurants in flushing, but still well seasoned and well cooked. The service was very warm and friendly, and many other customers seemed to be returning regulars.

Warning to all with a pineapple allergy like me: do not eat the duck sauce. If you like spicy ask for hot mustard instead. Orange chicken was crispy and flavorful. For me the fried dumplings were good, but not great. Worth a try but nothing to rave over.
