This is my third or fourth time visiting this restaurant in Flushing. It is on Prince Street, on the same block as Tangram Mall. I've brought friends here because I've always enjoyed their dishes. There also aren't many noodle restaurants left in the neighborhood, so it's nice to have a spot like this. It's a great place to visit on a cold day. The restaurant itself is a decent size. It can get busy in the evenings, but for the most part, you can still find a table. The portions are quite generous, and the service is good. There's minimal interaction with the staff since you place your order through a tablet provided at the table. Be mindful if you have peanut allergies definitely let them know so they don't sprinkle peanut on certain dishes. Overall, this is a great place to get a warm noodle soups during Winter season.
Broth is super clear and tasty! Definitely get the beef based broth or the mushroom based one. It was a great, no-frills, easy spot to step into and get a hearty meal on a cold day.

I ordered the Abalone chicken noodle soup and it came out better than I expected. The soup was extremely flavorful and the noodles was just the right texture. I liked that you can order right on the tablet they give you and then bring the food to you once it's ready . Would definitely try other soup flavor next time when I am around the area .
These noodles HIT no matter what!! I LOVED the tomato soup (I chose fish fillet as the entree and it was such a good pair). The soup is hearty, the rice noodles are the perfect texture, and all the ingredients inside were perfect. The crispy fried pork appetizer is a must-try! The service was fast, and it feels casual and cozy inside. It really is the perfect bowl of hot soup on a cold day. I definitely recommend a try!
This is the perfect place to go on a cold New York Winter night. Take out service was super fast and efficient, which is so appreciated. The food was delicious. Love the Sesame Oil Chicken Noodle Soup. So rich, filling, and warm. This dish enters your mouth and immediately warms your soul. The noodles have such a nice chew and texture to them and they do an amazing job of soaking up all of the broth. Really excellent place to go to :)
I come here from time to time for delicious and filling soups! I came here with 4 others on a cold winter day and we were seated promptly. The service was fast and friendly.

The Chili Chicken and Cucumber appetizers were amazing. The Laksa was okay, it definitely has more of a Chinese-style to it and the soup isn't like traditional Laksa where they use the paste and it's thick. The soup is more thin and brothy, and has a pretty clean taste. The beef was a bit tough, but the noodles and soup were good and light. If I came back, I'd try more of the classic Chinese noodle soups!
I love that Ji Bei Chuan is popping up in different boroughs, and I'm so glad this one is right on Prince Street! They're a serious competitor with 10 second noodles - the prices are slightly higher but the broth is much tastier. I was a bit disappointed by the Tom Yum broth here though. I've had it previously at the Brooklyn location and thought it was super flavorful and perfectly spiced; the Flushing location was a bit watered down and fishy. Portions are still massive though - noodle portions are generous, and topping variety is good. The original pork bone broth is really yummy too. I also love that JBC tries to change up the menu - definitely looking forward to trying the curry laksa next time! Card & cash are both accepted. Service is really standoff-ish, so don't expect much other than being handed an iPad. Parking around here is terrible - classic Flushing parking experience.
Food: The broth and noodles are delicious here! This place is known for their chicken and fish maw broth. I have wanted to try this place since they opened three locations in NYC - Manhattan Chinatown, Bensonhurst, and Flushing. I have heard good things about this place and found it's true! The broth is rich and flavorful. We tried the chicken and fish maw broth as well as the fish broth. They come with a variety of items depending on which broth you order such as rice noodles, fish slices, enoki mushroom, cabbage, tofu, fried tofu, beef slices, quail egg, fish maw, wood ear mushrooms and more. You can also choose items to add on for an additional cost. The texture of the rice noodles was perfect and not overdone. It's a perfect meal for a chilly winter day. Service: Service was average. You order from an iPad, and they bring you your food. They don't really come to check on you during the meal but are friendly and helpful if you need something. Ambiance: The place is small but can accommodate small and large groups. Tables are very very close together. The place is nicely renovated and nice. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant!

I got the M6.assorted beef sauce mixed rice noodles and the tomato beef brisket rice noodle. The noodles were flavorful and the meat was delicious. The beef intestines tasted good and were cleaned very well. Service was very good.

I ordered the Golden Broth Fish Maw Chicken Rice Noodles. The rich golden soup was smooth, savory, and full of comforting chicken flavor. This is my go-to spot whenever I need a break from my usual dining routine. Their noodle soups hit the spot during the colder fall and winter months, and the appetizers are a great bonus. Plus, I love how customizable everything is with all their extra add-on options! I definitely recommend their Signature JBC Rice Noodle. Just basically a surf and turf kind of deal. But just FYI the fish maws. You only get like a piece or two. If you don't find t he value in there then stick to their original. read more
3.5 Overall Decent sized space for the area. They weren't too packed on a weekend afternoon. They seem to get more takeout/delivery orders than dine in. You order on iPad at the table, and the staff is available if you have any questions. When you confirm your order on the iPad, they will confirm with you. Service is friendly and helpful. The food came out quick! Their kitchen is in the basement and they have the dumb waiter sending up food, so very efficient use of space. The Dumplings in Chili Oil (can adjust spice level and cilantro) has added texture with crushed peanuts. We got the regular spicy, but could have gotten extra spicy. They were a decent appetizer but I'd go for something else. The Abalone and Chicken Rice Noodles had decent chicken flavor. There were a couple pieces of dark meat, which I enjoyed. Not sure if there was abalone in here, but if there was, it was nondescript. The rice noodles were well cooked. The Plum Juice had a lovely smokey flavor, along with a lemony flavor form the couple of lemon slices inside. It was not too sweet, though I personally could go for less sugar. Overall, a decent spot for rice noodles. They do have multiple locations, so go to the one near you! No need to go out of your way. read more

Such a nice and cool place. So many seats and it's peaceful and clean. I got takeout (super nice packaging btw) and the worker recommended so many dishes and was super respectful and patient. I ended up ordering appetizers, brown sugar rice cakes and fried wontons. Both were so good. They give so many wontons and it's worth $7, it's filling and so crispy. The rice cakes are so addicting and so tasty!! The tomato noodle soup is also good, a bit oily, but the enoki mushrooms and veggies make up for it. A must try!! read more

Dropped in for a quick weekend lunch around 1pm - somewhat busy but relatively quick turnover so there were plenty of seats available throughout. I ordered the original bone broth rice noodles with sliced beef (肥牛 原湯米粉). Service was a tad slower than expected (usually these restaurants are super speedy) but not a big deal. The bowl was really quite large and came in a double layered bowl+holder so that it wasn't too hot to move around, which I thought was a nice touch. The noodles were very yummy - not too overcooked or too chewy - and the plentiful toppings really helped bring the whole bowl together. Lettuce was cooked quite well to be still crunchy without tasting too raw, and other things like the tofu bites and quail egg added some welcome variety overall. The broth was a highlight - very rich and fragrant without being too heavy or salty to drink directly. Portion sizes were correspondingly quite large, I was starving when I came in and was very fully satiated at the end of my meal. Such a good value especially considering the price point, which - while somewhat more expected for Flushing - is a welcome surprise from the continual trend of ever-more-expensive dining in the city nowadays. Great meal and will definitely be back! read more
Seriously underrated noodle soup! My closest comparison is yunnan rice noodles - it's the same sort of rounded rice noodle that is springy and slippery, super delicious. I've gotten takeout (perfectly packaged, with noodles separate from soup to maintain the springiness) and dined in and thoroughly enjoyed both experiences. I like the tomato soup the most but you can't go wrong! Also love the pork intestines as a topping. read more

I've been craving the beef brisket at Ji Bei Chuan ever since I first tried it last Saturday (in Brooklyn), and well, here I am again, back for more :) The aesthetic at this location is simply gorgeous, very classy and modern, with grey walls and light wood accents. They utilize a tablet POS system, but the service is still very much there. During our visit, the staff came around to inform us of any changes to our order (e.g., they ran out of passionfruit sparkling water), repeatedly checked in on us, and refilled our water. My partner and I initially wanted to order from their $17.95 set menu, but since that wasn't available till the afternoon, we ordered à la carte instead. * Tomato Beef Brisket Rice Noodles $14.00 My partner ordered this at my recommendation (well, he loves tomato beef stew in general, but I'd like to think he took my high praises into consideration). To my surprise, the tomato soup was very rich, much more tomatoey than the one I had at their Brooklyn location. * Mala Spicy Beef Brisket Rice Noodles $14.00 My partner's rice noodle came out first, and after seeing his, I have to say, I feared for mine. Their mala spicy broths come in three spice levels: mild, regular, and hot. Given my previous experience, I confidently went with hot, and when my rice noodles came out, I thought "It's over. I'm gonna die." Their soup was the reddest I had ever seen, and it looked nothing (NOTHING!) like what my sister and I had in Brooklyn. As expected, it felt like I was inhaling spice with every bite and I had to eat very, very slowly so as not to choke. Spice aside, the rice noodles were delicious-- the noodles themselves were bouncy and well-cooked, the brisket fall-apart tender, and the ingredients fresh and plentiful. **They also have loyalty cards, so be sure to get one! Buy 10 rice noodles and get 1 free on the next visit! (According to the staff, these cards work at their Prince St, Flushing; Chrystie St, Chinatown; and 86th St, Brooklyn locations). read more
I'm still surprised there aren't as many customers eating here, but more for us! Their menu is all electronic, and when you tap send to server, the staff is immediately notified and comes over. I got the Surpreme Fish Maw Chicken Rice Noodles ($17), which I had been craving since my last experience in their Brooklyn location. Their fish maw were fantastic substantial pieces. I remember distinctively their chicken pieces being so soft and juicy, but the ones this time around were kind of lacking. Their Tom Yum Soup Rice Noodles ($16) are a must-get if you've been looking for this Thai dish in the area! I can't speak to the authenticity but it sure had enough delicious flavor for me, with plenty of seafood. read more
Was craving noodles in Flushing and stumbled upon this place! We ordered our items to go and it was ready very quickly - only 10-15 min! Make sure to not shake the bags on the way home. The togo bag was a very sturdy cloth based material which was a nice touch. The togo containers separate the noodles from the soup broth on top, which prevent them from getting soggy and soaked. It seems they're know for their sauerkraut fish noodle soup so we ordered that, tomato beef noodle soup, fish and chicken noodle soup and woodear mushroom appetizers. Note for those with meat restrictions - their broths are pork based (and the chicken soup is of course chicken based) but there is no pork or chicken meat unless specified. Highly recommend the sauerkraut fish noodle soup if you're craving noodles! Though if I'm just craving the fish, I prefer B2J sauerkraut fish. The sauerkraut is pickled + preserved Chinese vegetables and the broth is slightly spicy and sour. Tomato beef broth was great as well, reminded me of Haidilao's tomato base. Was disappointed by the fish and chicken soup (hence the 1 star deduction). There was no fish and instead some weird dumpling skins. The broth was good but my least favorite of the three. read more

A newly renovated small restaurant in the heart of downtown Flushing. It is walking distance to LIRR train station, subway and bus stops, however, parking was an issue. No customer parking lot available, so either street parking or parking garage nearby. The food portion is generous and we were filled with a good amount of left over from almost every dish we ordered. The soup base was tasty and delicious. Service was so so. We were not even offered hot tea or cold water after we received our orders. Our orders came very quickly, maybe about 5-7 minutes after we placed our order. The restaurant is small, so not really good for big groups. We came during the lunar New Year time, so the restaurant had lots of decorations for the New Year! Overall this was a good dinning experience and my family enjoyed it. read more

MY STAR RATING 0-5 Service: 4 Food: 4 Space/Ambiance: 3 Price/Value: 3 Just so we're clear on my rating. I rate as 3 stars being average and we go up and down from there based on the whole experience, not just the food. If I'm giving a 5 star review it's because the experience was exceptionally above average from start to end and everything in between. After a long morning in Flushing Bay Dragon Boating we deciding on Ji Bei Chuan, an authentic Chinese noodle soup spot in Queens. Thankfully, upon arrival, it was not over crowded so our 5 top table was seated quickly. They use a tablet for ordering. The only downfall is that there was one tablet for our table so we had to take turns reviewing the menu and placing our orders in the app which slowed things down and also puts a bit of pressure on the last person adding their order. Haha The menu includes many segments to choose from including soup noodles, ramen, sauce mixed noodles, rice, cold dishes, appetizers, braised and some fun beverages. I decided on the 'M6. Assorted Beef Sauce Mixed Rice Noodles' (全家福干拌粉) extra spicy and with extra cilantro. I think this is one of the first times I have actually ordered extra spicy and gotten it. I'm assuming it's because the app doesn't see who's ordering it so it just sends the original request to the kitchen without questioning it, whereas when giving the order to a person they see this very white girl with the round German face and think my version of hot is white people levels not realizing that I can probably take heat better than them. ;) The noodle dish was full of flavor and rich. The meat was seasoned well and the tripe was perfectly chewy and soft. There were only two things I didn't love about my dish. One was the hard boiled egg. It's a ME thing and not a dish issue as I just prefer Ajitsuke Tamago, ramen seasoned jammy eggs. Since they have ramen I could have asked for a ramen egg but I wanted the dish as it was intended. The other thing for me was the noodles as they were a little too soft for me. I like my noodles firmer so as I am eating them and the heat from the dish is still cooking them they slowly get softer. In this case the noodles were already softer than I like from the start. That being said, it was still a delicious noodle dish with the perfect amount of heat and umami. I ended up taking half of it home as I was stuffed and I have to say, cold then next day, they might have been even better. Crazy, I know but the flavors seems more intense. Sooo good! The rest of the teams orders included 'M1. Minced Pork Sauce Mixed Noodles' (肉酱干拌粉) and 'Thai Style Soup Rice Noodles' (泰式金汤米粉). Everyone loved what they got and I would eat there again! They have several locations with at least one in Queens, in Bayside, Brooklyn on 86th Street, and at least one in Manhattan's Chinatown on Chrystie Street! Supreme Fish Maw Chicken Soup Rice Noodles $17.00 至尊花胶鸡汤米粉 This is their signature, I saw many customers came here for it. But the soup is not same as what I expected. I thought it would be gelatinous soup, but it actually just a regular soup. It has lots of ingredients inside. $17 is a fair price. Assorted Beef Sauce Mixed Rice Noodles $16.00 全家福干拌粉 I love this one the most! Omg it taste soooo good. It's a little bit spicy, but I think they added either sesame or peanut sauce inside, so it smell sooo good! I will definitely recommend this rice noodle to all of my friends, and I will come back for this dish definitely. The rest dishes including Fish Soup Rice Noodles W. Silken Tofu & Fish Slices ($14.00), Fried Chicken Wings, Spicy Flaked Sausage, Fried Wonton are all okay. I loved the Fried Wonton the most, but I think it's off menu item. The service is pretty good here, the staffs are caring people and polite. Overall, this is a good restaurant. read more
Seems like a huge bowl of never ending noodles and broth. Bf ordered the Tom yum soup with fish slices and I got the tomato with beef shank. Both broths were flavorful. Noodles were yummy and there was plenty of protein and assorted veggies. The Tom Yum was on the spicier side. By the time my bf finished he had to blow out his nose. We also got a side of cold cut chicken. It was yummy to try with spicy and nutty flavors. We did have to wait a while more though since the waitress forgot to put in that order. Wish it was a bigger portion of chicken for $9. Would come back to try other soups and definitely comforting on a cold or rainy day. read more

Ji Bei Chuan Noodle has become my preferred spot. I've visited twice, and the flavor and service time have remained consistent. Although three families were ahead of mine, the wait was brief. They don't communicate until there's a seat available, eliminating the need for a waitlist. It's ideal for a party of 1-4 people. There is only one restroom but I haven't encountered any waiting issues. I always order the Ji's Fish Maw Soup Rice Noodles but it's not always the same part of the fish. Either way, I enjoyed it and will order again. If you are looking for kid food option, then I suggest Tomato Beef Shank Rice Noodles. It's a plus they don't charge credit card fee like some other restaurants. I appreciate being able to enjoy the soup without the common MSG-induced thirst and discomfort found in other places and find it worth it here. read more
Came here on a Saturday night and it was packed! The place was opened recently and is now one of my favorite spots. I had the mala beef slices which is SPiCY! It came with a bunch of other ingredients that made it all come together. However, I recommend the pork intestines more! It's so tender and savory. My friend ordered the dry noodles with pork intestines and it was better than mine. On top of the noodles, I ordered cucumber and chili chicken as side dishes. The cucumber is different from other ones I had but omg is it well seasoned. The chicken was good as well, especially for $7. I highly recommend the pork intestine noodles and the cucumbers. Let's talk about service!! They walked by and checked in twice throughout the course. Another three times they refilled my water! When I asked for chili oil for the cucumber, they immediately grabbed a hefty scoop. 11/10! Highly recommend this place. Very homey and cute spot. read more
I'm consistently happy and satisfied when I leave here. There soups are delicious. I always enjoy their original fish maw and chicken soup. We tried the fish soup today and it was quite tasty. The chicken gizzard was nicely seasoned. As the weather gets colder I'm coming back to try their tomato soup. read more
I love this place. TLDR: great noodles with great broth and flavors. So far I've had the original chicken and fish maw (incredible broth and the fish maw is soooo good), the beef and tripe dry noodles (amazingly flavorful and a tad spicy) as well as the tomato beef soup noodles (good but not great). What makes this unique is also that they use rice noodles (not the flat type but ones that are pasta like) which have a great texture and flavor. The restaurant is clean, bright and the service is prompt and friendly. The staff is fluent in both English and Chinese here so no worries if you aren't a native and have questions. Prices are reasonable - ramen level - 12-18 per bowl but the quality of the food here is very good. It's most definitely in my rotation for noodles. read more
Mifen is the noodle of 2022! So many new restaurants popping up and this is definitely one of the best. Their space is clean and portion is big. I ordered three items: their signature fish maw chicken, the dry beef mix and the brown sugar rice cake. All the items were good. The noodle in the fish maw soup was a little over cooked, but the chicken was so good that I think it's ok that the noodle wasn't perfect. The dry mifen was al dente though. I really like the sauce they use, because usually the dry noodle sauces are too saucy or have too much peanut butter sauce or too spicy...this one is just right! They also gave me a lot of lettuce for the 2 dollar add-on. The last item, brown sugar rice cake, is the best I have had in flushing so far. It's not over fried! read more
