My goto beef noodle soup spot. Really affordable and really good. The service is also super fast and definitely a dine and go place with lots of people/locals getting a quick bite.

Noodle was perfectly cooked with plenty of bok choy and the braised egg was delicious. Didn't think of putting peanuts in there but it def added more flavors to the dish. The staff was very friendly and helpful it's a hole in a wall place can seat about 7-8 and we'll maintained and clean.

The unforgettable beef stew rice noodle will be something you must try if you are around downtown flushing. The store is small, but I always can find a spot to enjoy my food there. Remember to ask for pickle cabbage. They would let you know it is free. Service is quick.

They are known for their variety of noodle soups, which are tasty. Not much of an ambiance or service, but that's expected.

This place is hidden away on the same block as Golden Mall. Just walk down the block until you get to a door with multiple businesses listed. You'll walk past a dumpling place and see this place next. I enjoyed the food, and it's more of a 3.75 star, which I'm rounding up to four. I went with the large beef noodle soup ($6.50) and added a serving of pork large intestine ($2). I didn't realize they did this, but they asked if I wanted to make it "tingly spicy". Of course I said yes! They essentially add in some chili oil made with Szechuan peppers to give it that distinctive tingly sensation. You can ask for different levels of tingly spiciness, so I'd suggest going for small or medium so you can still taste the broth. The broth itself was quite good, although with the medium spicy oil mixed it, I was tasting more of the spiciness than anything else. It did have nice body to it though. The meat was not quite as plentiful as I had hoped, but what was given was tasty. The beef had some tendon running through it so it was very tender. The intestine had good flavor. I felt the intestine was cut too thin and they could have given me a bit more for $2. The noodles were cooked well, although they were packaged noodles. This is why I'm rating this place a 4 instead of a 5. I feel you get a better bowl of noodles at Lan Zhou Hand-pulled Noodles inside Golden Mall. They give much more meat and the noodles are made fresh for you. I don't feel like I'd miss the tingly spiciness and I'm happy with just some normal hot oil.

Been eating here for years, owner always present and works very hard. Good attitude employees. Very reasonable price at $7 a bowl. Add in some veggies and a soy egg and its still under $10 bucks. Very comfortable little humble noodle place thats very underated. Lets keep it that way shall we.

Remember that the beef was my favorite? Well they swapped out buttery beef chunks for cheap cuts of fat. What a shame

Beef is tender, noodles are good, as well as the soup. My noodles came out really fast as they keep the water boiling all day.

I ate in the enclosed patio which only had two tables, and the inside didn't seem much bigger. There is no bathroom for customers so don't bank on bio breaks here. It's efficient in that I was seated promptly, was able to place my order when I was ready, and the food came out lickety-split. Carry cash for a discount. I ordered the Wonton, Dumpling, & Beef Stew Noodle Soup ($14.75) under the "Popular Items" section of the menu since it seemed sampler-esque. The wontons and dumplings were similar since they both contained shrimp and pork but I leaned towards the dumplings since they also included mushroom, bamboo, wood ear, and chives. The duck egg noodles, beef, and broth rounded out the awesomeness. Can't wait to return with others!

Walked in on a Saturday around 6pm and managed to get the last two top. Don't be surprised if you need to wait a bit on a Saturday or Sunday around lunch. At any rate, get the wonton noodle soup. Or the combo that includes dumpling and dace fish ball if you want to get wild. All the toppings are fat(!!) from the wontons to the dumplings and fish balls. It's great. But for me the real star of the show is those bouncy duck egg noodles. They have a bounce that really puts it at the top of the list for me when it comes to duck egg noodle/wonton noodles. A perfect comfort meal on a cold day. Throw in some vinegar or chili oil between bites and you're in for a treat. Also ordered the (imitation) shark fin soup. It was solid. Texture might not be for everyone, but nice thing to snack on while you wait for your food, but not necessary. Service is quick. The space as I mentioned is small and can feel a little cramped, but they offer takeout if you wanted to just bring it back home. I'd still recommend just dining in though. Overall, great spot. Also there's a decent discount if you pay with cash.

The gukbap had a strong, savory broth and rice came on the side, so I enjoyed dipping it into the soup. The beef was cooked perfectly. Our meals also came with plenty of banchan, and the baechu kimchi had a slightly sweet flavor that I enjoyed quite a bit. You order on iPad at the table, and the staff is available if you have any questions. When you confirm your order on the iPad, they will confirm with you. Service is friendly and helpful. The food came out quick! Their kitchen is in the basement and they have the dumb waiter sending up food, so very efficient use of space. The Dumplings in Chili Oil (can adjust spice level and cilantro) has added texture with crushed peanuts. We got the regular spicy, but could have gotten extra spicy. They were a decent appetizer but I'd go for something else. The Abalone and Chicken Rice Noodles had decent chicken flavor. There were a couple pieces of dark meat, which I enjoyed. Not sure if there was abalone in here, but if there was, it was nondescript. The rice noodles were well cooked. The Plum Juice had a lovely smokey flavor, along with a lemony flavor form the couple of lemon slices inside. It was not too sweet, though I personally could go for less sugar. Overall, a decent spot for rice noodles. They do have multiple locations, so go to the one near you! No need to go out of your way.

The portions are quite generous, and the service is good. There's minimal interaction with the staff since you place your order through a tablet provided at the table. Be mindful if you have peanut allergies definitely let them know so they don't sprinkle peanut on certain dishes. Overall, this is a great place to get a warm noodle soups during Winter season.

As for portion size, the amount of rice noodles they give you is MASSIVE. They basically give you an entire mountain of noodles, and next to your table on the wall there's even a sign that says you can get a free second serving of noodles (we could barely finish the first serving of noodles). This place feels like a hidden gem you almost want to keep secret... but it's just too good not to share. What makes Pho Metro stand out right away is how authentic it feels. You can tell this is truly a labor of love. One guy runs the show and somehow manages to do it all, from cooking to serving, and the care he puts into the food absolutely shows in every single bite. It has that comforting, homemade quality that makes you feel like you've stepped into a small family kitchen rather than just another restaurant. The food itself is outstanding. Everything tastes incredibly fresh, from the herbs to the broth. I highly recommend the thin noodles with the spicy lemongrass broth (you can request this if it's not listed). It's bursting with flavor, slightly tangy, perfectly spicy, and deeply savory in a way that warms you from the inside out. Every spoonful feels like a cozy blanket on a cold day. The summer rolls are another must-order. They're fresh, light, and packed with flavor, and the peanut sauce that comes with them is absolutely delicious. It's rich, savory, and addictive enough that you'll find yourself scraping the cup to get every last drop. Another detail I really appreciated is how everything you need is right at your fingertips. All the sauces are readily available at the table, so you can customize your bowl exactly how you like it without having to ask or wait. It makes the whole experience feel easy, comfortable, and welcoming. And don't skip the Thai iced tea. It's perfectly sweet, creamy, and refreshing, especially alongside the bold flavors of the pho. It's the kind of drink that makes you slow down and enjoy the moment. Overall, this place delivers on flavor, authenticity, and heart. It's rare to find a spot where you can truly taste the effort and pride in every dish, but Pho Metro does exactly that. I will absolutely be returning again and again.
