The broth was just okay but the noodles were quite good! I wish they added more meat. They're pretty quick on service.

One of the more popular stalls at the New World Mall Food Court. If I were to be fully honest, the beef soup was a bit bland. The unlimited chili oil and Chinese picked cabbage by the counter sure helps! Knife sliced noodles were great and had the perfect texture. Overall still a good beef noodle soup that tastes like something you'd get from China. Will definitely come back to try other dishes.

Really good and fast hand pull beef noodle soup. Noodles are really good and the service was really fast. Lots of people in this food court and overall a really good spot. They've been here for a long time too. I would avoid the chili oil on the side though because that ruin the soup and dish for me

I thought their beef noodle soup was solid. Extremely generous with the noodles and protein. Would've liked more bok choy though! The broth tasted pretty standard... needed a decent amount of chili oil to enhance the flavors. I think I would've enjoyed this dish more if the noodles were thicker as well... but that's just a personal preference! Very affordable though!

Local places with hand pull noodles always draw me in, but this one was pretty mid. Located in New World Mall, you can't miss this spot. I think it was the only one serving these noodles, with people constantly ordering here. Bring your own water, as they don't offer that here. Cash only. The Beef Noodle Soup ($10) lacked flavor for me, that I had to dunk in lots of chili oil. But even then, the broth didn't give off the flavor one would have when tons of beef slices were submerged in. The noodles were clumped in, thinner than what I would have liked, but handmade alright! I wish they gave a tad more veggies to balance the meat veggie ratio. I feel like there's better elsewhere!

The house special noodle soup is tasty. The amount of food fed 2 people. It's located in the food court in the New World Mall. Food is served in front of you, and service is quick. There are plenty of tables in the food court.

Absolutely huge and delicious portions that make it a nice meal. It is cash only though, but 2 bowls of the beef noodle soup will run exactly $20 with tax. Bring your own water or expect to buy some if you get thirsty because this one doesn't have self service water. There is, however, self service chili oil and pickled vegetables. Picking up your order is a bit chaotic since they just try to yell numbers but it's pretty loud down th Beef noodle soup ($10) - broth has such a strong flavor that brings so much depth to the soup. Decent amount of meat and the noodles were perfectly chewy.

This stand in the basement of the New World Mall serves up a big bowl of noodles for really cheap. Be sure to pay in cash, and adding an egg to the bowl costs just an extra $1. I got the beef tendon noodle with egg. The time between when I ordered and when I received my food was merely 3 minutes - the time it takes for the fresh noodles to cook in the soup. Food is good, but not particularly special. The portion sizes are big, and the draw is that the cost is low (less than $15) for pretty much all items on the menu.

The service is kind of lacking. We ordered two noodles and one of the noodle arrived more than 15 mins after the other. The food is amazing and the cold chicken noodle is a dish I didn't expect to be this good. It's nice that you can chose the thickness of your noodle. Tried one of their bun with meat before and that one was kind of lacking. It's just like any casual chinese restaurant with no extra bell and whistle. So a good place to chat and eat with your friends.

This hand pull noodle shack is located in the New World food court. We ordered the seafood noodle soup for $10.50, tax included. There was plenty of seafood in the mild but satisfying broth. What made this soup special was the hand pulled noodle. The noodle was perfectly chewy and there was plenty of it. The only disappointment was the rude lady that took our order.

Located in the food court(basement) of new world mall. Super filling and delicious noodle soups for ~$10. My fave is the beef noodle soup(#1). Service is fast and it's a filling portion. Great for a quick meal on a cold day.

A great bowl of noodles for a fair price. What more could you ask for? I always go to New World Mall to get my noodle fix. Lan Zhou handmade noodles are delicious to eat and really fun to watch them make. They are booth #15 near Gong Cha and Tea Baar. The lady who takes orders in the front is super loud and can handle so many orders so quickly! The food is prepared fresh. Within 5 minutes, you have a hot bowl of hand pulled noodles in front of you. I always either get the wonton noodles ($6.50) or the beef noodles (~$8.50). I prefer the beef because wonton noodles are better with the yellow noodles. I also saw someone who ordered their yellow fried noodles with thick sauce and beef. It looked SO good. There is a huge bucket of chilli oil for you to take as much as you need as well as pickled vegetables. Need to try all of their menu items here!

This beef noodle soup was fire. The broth was super flavorful and had strong hints of cilantro. The noodles were chewy and soft. The beef was UBER tender and melted in your mouth. And it was so cheap for the amount you get! I could not recommend this spot enough. However I'm busier days it is hard to get seating. You can add in your own pickled vegetables, chili oil, and soy sauce if needed.

The noodles were incredibly bouncy and had an amazing mouth feel. The broth was rich and bursting with flavor. I'm allergic to shrimp and got the vegetable broth with beef and was worried about that flavor but it was so amazing I plan to become a regular. Maxi's Noodle is a Hong Kong-style noodle shop that focuses on wonton noodles, beef brisket dishes,…read morefish balls, and comforting soup-based meals. We walked into a casual, local space with a straightforward setup that works well for a simple meal rather than a long dining experience. The seating is limited, and the use of paperware even for dine-in orders gives the restaurant a practical, neighborhood feel, the kind of place where the focus stays on the food rather than the atmosphere. The biggest highlight is the wonton noodle soup. The shrimp wontons are larger than the typical Hong Kong-style wontons and are packed with shrimp flavor, giving the dish a more filling feel. The noodles have a good texture with a slight chew, and the broth provides a light but comforting base that ties everything together without overwhelming the other components. The beef options are also worth trying, especially the braised beef and brisket, which add a richer, more savory flavor to the noodles. Beyond noodles, the menu has a variety of classic Hong Kong-style sides and add-ons. The curry fish balls and fried fish skin are popular choices that add different textures to the meal, while the Hong Kong milk tea works well as a drink pairing, with a smooth, slightly bitter profile that cuts through the richness of the food. There are also vegetarian options available, giving the menu more flexibility for different preferences. Service is generally quick and efficient, and the portions are filling for the price. The restaurant can feel busy during peak hours due to the limited seating, but the turnover is fast enough that the wait does not feel excessive. The presentation is simple and functional, and the overall experience feels rooted in the kind of quick, satisfying meal that Hong Kong-style noodle shops are known for. Maxi's Noodle is a solid place for Hong Kong-style comfort food, especially if you are craving wonton noodles. The large shrimp wontons, chewy noodles, and affordable portions make it a worthwhile stop, offering a meal that feels both familiar and satisfying without any unnecessary fuss. It may not be the most polished dining experience, but it delivers exactly what it promises: a simple, comforting bowl of noodles done right.

The food came out quick! Their kitchen is in the basement and they have the dumb waiter sending up food, so very efficient use of space. The Dumplings in Chili Oil (can adjust spice level and cilantro) has added texture with crushed peanuts. We got the regular spicy, but could have gotten extra spicy. They were a decent appetizer but I'd go for something else. The Abalone and Chicken Rice Noodles had decent chicken flavor. There were a couple pieces of dark meat, which I enjoyed. Not sure if there was abalone in here, but if there was, it was nondescript. The rice noodles were well cooked. The Plum Juice had a lovely smokey flavor, along with a lemony flavor form the couple of lemon slices inside. It was not too sweet, though I personally could go for less sugar. Overall, a decent spot for rice noodles. They do have multiple locations, so go to the one near you! No need to go out of your way.
