This was my second time having noodle soup from here, and I got their classic for around $12.50. It was packed with duck meat, blood, liver, and gizzard, along with noodles, cilantro, and scallions. The broth was absolutely delicious--I couldn't believe how generous the portions were for the price! I also ordered the chive fried dumplings, and they were amazing! You get 10 for just $6.50, and they were crispy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The wonton soup was also solid, with a nice authentic taste. So why only 4 stars? Both times I've had their noodle soup, I felt a bit nauseous afterward. Maybe it's a bit too rich or greasy for me--not sure. Only me, my wife and everyone else are all good. But honestly, it's still totally worth trying, especially if you love duck.

A warm, filling spot located in the New World mall food court. Their menu offers a variety of comforting Chinese dishes at a great price. Service is pretty quick here after ordering. I got the duck vermicelli noodle soup, and thought that it was so rejuvenating. The duck flavor was really strong, and the soup was light and came with tofu. The only thing is that I wish you could have the option to change the noodles as the noodles were what I would consider glass noodles, rather than vermicelli noodles. Nonetheless, great broth and I would love to come back here to try their dumplings.

Wow, this place is a hidden gem. 12pc dumplings for $7.50 and a chive pocket for $3.50: the value is incredible. Great flavors, dumplings were juicy, cooked to order and steamed nicely. I also liked the chive pocket - loaded with chives and paired nicely with the chili oil and vinegar. Great Shanghainese spot if you're in Queens.

We went to try the little nee store called Good Coconut and found this delicious, hidden gem in this baseman place They were delicious and so cheap, I got 12 for $7!! There is no better deal than that! Lol

First, the name of the restaurant is Yozl with an L, not Yozi. They have another location in the food court at New World Mall. Since my favorite soup dumpling place burned down, I have been on the hunt. This place is one of several establishments in this underground food court. There is seating available. The soup dumpling skin is pretty thin and decent amount of soup. Prices are inexpensive and the soup dumplings satisfied my cravings. Service was efficient. It is a nice hole-in-the-wall hidden gem.

I ordered duck noodle soup with guihua duck but instead got guihua duck with noodle soup (the ingredients are different and what I ordered was more expensive). It was takeout so I didn't realize until I got home. I called the store and they just said no other order was wrong on their end. As reference they left my number and said if I order again next time they will give me the missing ingredients. The price keeps increasing yet the quality of the food has been deteriorating, both in service and in flavor.

It's not the first time I've had Yozi, I first had it at the New World Mall... . I believe they are known for their offal noodle soup, and offal is not for everyone. It is totally my kind of jam.. . I thought the noodle soup was ok, the liver was a bit dry though. Good flavor but dry. . They give you a lot of the gizzard and blood, but it's a pretty simple soup overall. Nothing overpowering, and since I can't eat spicy, I can only eat it as it. The broth is very milky... . Got the 1/4 smoked duck, it wasn't bad honestly. It wasn't too salty... . The scallion mixed oil noodle was good, it's not a big portion, but good enough for someone who isn't very hungry and it's less than $5.

Came here to grab a quick bite. The flavor surprisingly in the soup is pretty good when I had it at food court. Would recommend to try. The dumplings are meh. And won tons meh. But their noodles with the intestines are good.

Came here for frozen dumplings because of the decent reviews on Reddit. Pretty average frozen dumplings. They are just as tasty as the much cheaper dumplings in the area. Also the dumplings are pretty small. I got the shepherds purse with pork dumpling and those are actually wontons even though they called it dumplings.

The filling was decent, but the vinegar on the side was too mild. I'm used to a darker, more robust vinegar with XLB, so this didn't quite hit. Braised pork - very tender and flavorful, served with quail eggs. This was one of the stronger dishes. Yangzhou fried rice - not too oily which I liked, but served with only 5 an small shrimps... Sweet & sour shredded potato (cold dish) - slightly spicy, I really enjoyed this one. It was part of a promo where you can get it for $1 when you spend $30 on entrees, so definitely worth adding. Overall, I enjoyed the meal. Not everything stood out, but it's solid enough that I'd recommend it, and I'd come back to try more of the menu.

However, recently it's been hit or miss. Today was both - the garlic pork belly cold dish was super tasty! The garlic chili oil was spicy, sweet and fragrant. The pork bun ( I have eaten at almost every establishment that serves pork buns in flushing) was disgusting. The pork was almost grey and the it smelled like it was a day away from spoiling. It's really hard to justify a bad experience like this when there are literal hundreds of flushing vendors that serve the exact same cuisine with better quality control. Catch me a Zie Wei Xiao Chi next time I'm in the mood for a pork bun.

Plus, you get a free show out of it because all of the cooking is on display next to the register! The value is also amazing, because one order gets you a solid portion of meat and bun *and* the piping hot-ness of it forces you to pace yourself so you're not accidentally overeating 20 of them (I mean.. that's what I'd do if I weren't forced to slow down). Ambiance-wise, well, this is New World Mall's food court so be prepared to hustle for a table. This is not fine dining, people, but it is straight up good food worth going out of your way for.

Usually, the Sheng Jian Bao you get from the Shanghainese Restaurant are tender with a thicker bun. This one is with a thin and crispy bun with a savory piece of pork that splash soup into your mouth (Be alert that it will definitely burn your tongue). I was introduced to have it with aged vinegar and chilly sauce. It bought the taste of the bun to a level of an explosion. Stop by and try an order when you visit Flushing. It is located in a food court inside the New World Mall. It looks cheesy but tasty. Calvin
