Soups served in the cast iron bowls provide for HOT HOT temperature for a longer than average so that's good for those that like that and during cold weather for warmth. Not a long wait for food to come out. Four bowls of soups were ordered. The fish slices in bone broth with udon noodles actually are fish pieces and not processed pressed fish. The Tom yum soup with rice noodles did have a strong Tom yum flavor until you get to the end when there is a faint flavor of it. This was disappointing. The tomato soup with rice noodles was good. The tonkontsu ramen was good also. There is a punch card for ten orders that is provided. The four star rating is for overall service and food. I love yunnan style noodles and this spot fulfills that craving. There are a good amount of seats inside and it doesn't seem like they get enough attention cause we never have to wait for a table, which I don't mind cause the food is great. I've tried a few of their rice noodles and I think they're great. It's all the same type of noodles but with different toppings and soup bases depending on what you choose. It comes in a hot claypot so it stays hot for a longer time, perfect for a cold day or just a comforting meal. I loooove the sauerkraut soup base for that tangy flavor and a bit of heat. If you're tired of Ramen, pho (I mean i'm never tired of pho!) or Taiwanese beef broth noodle soups. This is the spot! The broth is not too heavy, it has that warm your soul without all that sodium in your belly. I always get the chicken with the fish maw. It's great when you get a cold or feel cold or just vibing for good noodle soups! If you feening to beast you can also add more toppings on top of the noods! Don't sleep on the sides too! The chili oil dumpling, the poached boiled chicken, heck even the crispy chicken wrap! Hands down pact with flavors. I think I honestly like the Bayside location more cause they have more options and its not as crowded vs the one in Flushing. Due to steady stream of people I feel like the chef pays more attention to the dishes and gets it correct consistently. The one in flushing is as good too but sometimes it can get a hit or miss every now and then but so far I haven't had any issues with the one on Bayside. Definitely recommend this spot. Excellent lunch set. I upgraded to a lemon tea passion fruit for $3 more. I had the Tonkatsu ramen that was chock filled w a whole soy egg, pork, corn and lots of bamboo, and a piece of seaweed. There was also a couple of slices of this white chewy thing, shaped like a flower. Lol, not sure what its called. We were craving rice noodles & hot soup, and decided to stop by this Bayside location. I ordered my usual, the seafood tom yum soup, and my fiance ordered the original bone broth. I was a bit surprised to see the price difference compared to other locations ($14 for mine instead of $16), but the quality kind of explained it. While the soup wasn't bad by any means, it was disappointing because I knew how good it could be. My tom yum broth was rather diluted, with just hints of tom yum but not much flavor or spice. My fiance's was similar - the broth was lacking its usual depth and flavor. The toppings and noodle portions were consistent though. Service was quick per usual, nothing to write home about. The interior of this location is rather spacious though, and the middle table is perfect for solo diners. Cash & card are both accepted, but this location doesn't offer the discounted membership priced or honor stamp cards from other locations. read more

We came here for lunch after church. It has a good variety of noodle and rice dishes. Inside was spacious and brightly lit. They seated us right away and handed us menus. We asked for water and started looking through the menu. It was hard to decide there were so many good stuff in the menu. My daughter got the tonkotsu ramen, I got the tom yum seafood noodles and my husband got the curry beef brisket over rice. My daughter enjoyed her ramen and my husband thought his beef curry was ok. He didn't like the fatty bits or the tendon. The sauce was reminiscent of the sauce we dipped our roti canai bread in at Malaysian restaurants. My tom yum seafood noodle was full of flavor and quite spicy. You can taste the sweetness of the seafood in the spicy broth. There was plenty of seafood as well, two large shrimp, fish, two large mussels, as well as assorted tofu and mushrooms. I didn't really like the noodles. I felt like the texture was strangely slippery and crunchy. It's like the consistency of konjac jelly. But over all it's a good meal and I want to try more of their noodles. read more

Be warned: the soup comes very hot and stayed warm throughout the meal, which we loved. We also tried the Beef Yakiudon, which was decent but not as impressive. The ambiance was modern, casual and spacious for lots of customer to dine in. I noticed there was a bench at the middle of the table. Quite interesting. Ordered the Supreme Fish Maw Chicken Soup Rice Noodles and Sauerkraut Soup Rice Noodles. The broth was flavorful, nourishing, and not oily. The noodle portion was generous. But the protein portion was alright given they are like in the high ten $. Wish they provided more proteins. Some of the tofu cubes tasted rotten, had to discard them.
