Everything flowed seamlessly, and they made us feel truly valued and well taken care of. The food is consistently good, as are the drinks. Tonight, we shared a House Mule, which was refreshing, delicious, and a great way to start our meal. For dinner, I had the Crunchy Seafood Fried Rice without XO sauce and the Buddha's Claypot, a vegetable dish. Hubby had the General Tso Chicken. At first, I thought he was joking, so I responded, "Can you imagine how rude I am to my husband?" His response was completely inappropriate and offensive. He said that if he were my husband, he would slap me on my behind over and over again in a sensual manner and that I would enjoy every moment of it. My friends and I were absolutely stunned. When I asked him to stop and bring us the check, he then said that "you Jews always give me problems." A few minutes later, after I told the waitstaff that I intended to share my experience on GN Mommies, he came over with hot sake to apologize. He even offered to refund our meal, but I declined. I don't want anything from someone who makes hateful remarks about Jews. After living in Great Neck for 40 years, I have never experienced anything like this.
