We had lunch at Pho. Next time we'll definitely get the Pho. This time we had summer rolls which were delicious. We also had two kinds of Banh Mi. Mushroom and Pork. Both were very good. The rolls were perfection. Each sandwich was filled with fresh ingredients. The dining room was clean with tables that were comfortable. They had a lot of to go orders while we were there. We're glad we found this place, especially in a town like Manhasset. Great addition.

We were craving Vietnamese food for dinner on Labor Day but unfortunately, our usual place was closed so we decided to give this new place a try. We came around 6pm and were the only ones there. Our order consisted of the summer rolls one with pork and the other with shrimp, fried pork spring rolls, special combo banh mi and flank & brisket pho. They even have tacos. They don't offer meatballs and only have 5 pho options, which is quite disappointing. The summer rolls were fresh but didn't have enough pork / shrimp in them. They put too much noodles & veggies and the peanut dipping sauce was diluted. Spring rolls didn't taste like what we are used to, the pork tasted weird and had shitake mushrooms in them, we weren't a fan. The special combo banh mi was good and the baguette was perfectly toasted. However, there was no pate in it (did they forget or ran out?) but a slab of unmelted butter instead. It could've been the "perfect banh mi" with some liver pate w/o the butter. The flank & brisket pho was decent with flavorful beef broth but they used thick noodles rather than the thin ones that I prefer. Service was great and there was plenty of metered parking spaces all around. It is quite pricey for Vietnamese food but the cost is aligned with location and neighborhood. It satisfied our cravings.

Finally, pho close to home. Ambience - wooden benches and stools ... they get bonus points for decor and atmosphere. Very clean and spacious. Food: Beef Pho - thin slices of raw meat cooking in a hot pho broth. Yum. 4/5 Grilled Pork Chops over rice - the pork chop is already sliced for you! Seasoned and accompanied by some sweet Vietnamese fish sauce. 5/5 Fried Spring Rolls - deep fried crunchy on the outside, moist and savory on the inside 4/5 Tip: street parking may be a challenge during busier times of the day.

I chuckled when I read that this was the best Pho in Queens and Long Island. I know everyone has different taste buds but c'mon ... it can't be THAT different?!? The pho wasn't the worse I've ever had but definitely not the best either. When we got to Pho Manhasset, the server told us that the kitchen would be closing in 20 mins .. not a problem .. we'd get what we'd normally get at any Vietnamese place .. pho and grilled pork chop over rice. Well, the server didn't get to take our order till 10 mins later. I get it, one server with 4 tables and 2 were leaving. We ordered the flank pho, grilled pork chop rice dish and a Vietnamese coffee. We had to ask for water and utensils after we ordered. The flank pho was tasty, but for $16 I thought there would be more pho. The bowl is very deceiving ... it's twice the size of the contents inside. My husband ordered the grilled pork chop rice dish and Vietnamese coffee ... he said the pork chop was as dry as jerky and he never received the coffee. I tried a piece of pork chop and he wasn't kidding, it was super dry. I felt the dish was put together with whatever grilled pork chop was left over for the day. Whenever we've had grilled pork chop, it's been one piece .. where we cut it apart ourselves .. it's never been cut up already. Anywho, we had enough and asked for the check. At that point is when the server realized she didn't give my husband his coffee and asked him if he still wanted it. Really?!? Thanks but no thanks. Will I be returning? Highly doubt it.

Good bowl of pho that satisfies the craving. The Vietnamese coffee was strong and not too overly sweet. Service was friendly and attentive.

Stopped by Pho Manhasset last week because I was around the neighborhood. We ordered two beef pho, a shrimp summer roll and 2 Vietnamese iced coffees. Everything was mediocre at its best. The pho was ok ... I definitely tasted a lot of msg. The Vietnamese iced coffee wasn't what I am used to ... perhaps a different brand of coffee was used or the ratios between coffee to ice, water and condensed milk did not suit my preferences? Lastly, the summer roll was strange. There were lots of carrots in it, barely any noodles and herbs were included and it was paired with an off-putting peanut sauce. I'd return for the pho, given there aren't many options around, but will not order the summer roll again.

Not the most authentic pho place, but definitely hits when needed. The pho bowl in general is very big so they give more broth than other places. It is also the very few Asian restaurants in manhasset so def alot of high school kids come here after school. The service is very fast! Pretty sure they had the broth and noodles pre made but I liked the fast service since we were starving.

Our receipt. Prices were about right for the area.

For a small place in Long Island it's not bad. It's not the most authentic pho I've ever had and it's menu is small but it's not a bad place to go if you are craving a hot bowl of something good. The employees were nice and the service was fast. I saw a lot of take out orders and one group walked in, ordered, and was out in 10 minutes. Our order came out very fast as well. Although our appetizer of spring roll came out after the pho and banh mi. My daughter and I ordered a bowl of flank and brisket pho, duck spring rolls, and a special combo banh mi sandwich (pork roll, pork belly, pate, and butter). First the pho was decent. The bowl was large and there was plenty of meat. The soup was bland and needed the hoisin and hot sauce. The lime and mint helped with the flavor. The sandwich was not on a baguette but a toasty roll. It was still good and a classic tasting banh mi. The duck spring roll was very hot and crispy but lacked duck flavor. Tasty but if it was filled with some other meat I feel like it would have been the same. Overall, if you are in the area and are looking for something hot and quick you should give this place a try.

Cute, bright spot for pho and rice dishes. A nice complement if you are looking for something different in the area. Ordered summer rolls, catfish with rice, thai ice tea and pho with brisket/flank steak. Very satisfying, ordered some to go as well! Loved the catfish and now craving for it so will be back for sure.

The waitstaff were attentive and helpful. Only complaint about the setting is that every time someone went in or out, a rush of cold air would enter. Try not to sit too close to the door. As far as the food, daughter and I just ordered soon dubu (soft tofu stew) and ddukbokki (spicy rice cakes). We're Korean so flavor profile wise, it seemed to cater to non Korean palates. The soon dubu was not spicy and had too much of a sesame oil flavor and the ddukbokki was sweet with no spiciness at all. I think if you are non Korean, the seasoning was good and the food flavorful, just not the flavors we were expecting. Also, although the menu makes it seem like you have to pay for the banchan (appetizers), we did not, it came with the staple kimchee, and a couple other dishes. Not sure why they had prices on the menu unless they charge for refills? They also gave us this yummy ice cream bite for dessert which is usually unheard of in Korean restaurants. Having said all this, I do want to recommend this place, it was a nice local restaurant to get some Asian dishes with a great waitstaff.

Such a satisfying lunch--this place continues to impress…read more Ken recognized us immediately and welcomed us back--always a thoughtful touch. Service from Ken and Alex was attentive, seamless, and effortless throughout. The hot and sour soup with grilled shrimp was rich, comforting, and perfectly balanced with just the right kick. The half Peking duck--served with delicate pancakes and sauces on the side--was cooked perfectly, boneless, and absolutely delicious. I especially loved the crispy skin--so flavorful and satisfying. The Malaysian-style red curry with seasonal vegetables, roti, and grilled shrimp, served with brown rice, was equally flavorful and well executed. Prices reflect the quality--and it shows. We went for dinner and the loud party music absolutely did not fit the calm, natural interior decor. In fact, the music was irritating and confusing when the decor looks more zen-like. Not sure what they're going for there. Service was not very attentive either. No one ever asked how our food was or if we needed anything. Water cup was left empty often. So then am I paying for some magical taste in these dishes? Because the prices are double that of some excellent Chinese options not only in Queens, but even Long Island. Again, all the dishes were presented very well, but if I ate blindfolded I would not have noticed anything truly amazing. Lamb potstickers were good, but could use some more cumin and spice. Seafood fried rice had hot chilli peppers in it - why?? Also may want to warn customers of this since families with young kids ordering rice/noodles may be ordering for kids who don't eat spicy food (not indicated on menu). Shanghai soup dumpling were...unusual. Adding a goji berry on top is a little gimmicky, but we all hated the mushy filling. The meat falls apart inside the dumpling and perhaps that's what they're going for? I also suspect there is a lot of msg and salt being used. The duck was delicious cooked, cut perfectly and presented nicely. A warning about the cranberry sauce - if you have it during Thanksgiving, great go for it. If you don't like cranberry sauce during Thanksgiving, don't even bother with it here. Duck is not turkey (what an insult that would be to compare the two) but I'm guessing that's where the idea for cranberry sauce came from. In the end, it felt like westernised cuisine masquerading as Chinese food. (My family wanted to give Jia 2 stars - they never want to go back, but I'm feeling generous :P) My star rating legend: 5: A+ Worth a special journey (ie. I would go out of my way, maybe even take a flight somewhere just for this; exceptionally amazing) 4: A excellent, a must try, solid place 3: B good; nothing extraordinary, but would definitely go again 2: C personally would never go again (unless invited by someone and I didn't get to pick the place), but I can see how others might find something appealing 1: Fail. I would never return and recommend no on else goes either.
