I love this local pho place!! So good!! The food is always excellent and the ambience is quiet and serene. The space and bathroom are very clean! I especially like their brisket pho: noodles are cooked perfectly and the broth is very authentic and flavorful. I love their vermicelli noodle bowls. They come with fresh greens, noodles, peanuts, and your choice of protein. Tofu and mushroom vermicelli noodle bowl is a fantastic choice for vegetarians. Portions are generous and the price is excellent. I have a peanut allergy and they've been very good about leaving the peanuts out of the dishes I order. Street parking can be hit or miss so I recommend parking in the lot behind Raindew. Just make sure you feed the meter mon-sat. (Meters require quarters) read more

Embarrassed to say that this is the first time I have tried Pho Manhasset and I don't know what I was waiting for!! I had Flank Steak Pho with broccoli as take out. The serving size was more than ample - enough for two lunches. Next time I will add another serving of steak to the meal which would make day #2 lunch more hearty - but tbh there was plenty of of food and most importantly it was delicious. The food at Pho Manhasset is very good. I usually buy the generic white rice and grilled pork combo which is very pocket friendly. Their noodles and other bowls are also pretty good. What a cute little spot! We were at the Apple store about an hour earlier and since it took a while, we started to get hungry and craved something Asian. Pho Manhasset was only 6 minutes away, and I'm so glad we got to check it out! Small but cozy, the place had about 6-8 wooden tables. There was only 1 worker working the front and as the waiter but he paid good attention, was friendly and had good service. We ordered the pho with brisket and flank. Tasted like the classic pho, which is already a compliment in itself. It wasn't spectacular but it was classic and warms the heart. I really liked the flavor in the soup. The only downside was that for a bowl so big, the portion could have been a teeny bit more. We also had the banh mi combo. Whatever that sauce was was heavenly. It stood out amongst the classic banh mi sandwiches that I ate (and I just had one last week!) The bread was fresh and crisp, and the meat was a generous amount. We also had the pork chop vermicelli which I really enjoyed. Usually the sauce is not spicy but this one had a kick to it. What got me loving it was the pork chop - it was definitely marinated differently than other pho places. It was delicious AND generous - I almost couldn't finish this big bowl! Lastly we got the vietnamese coffee. They sell the cafe du monde cans at the front, which is what is used to make this type of coffee with condensed milk. $5 is a lot for a drink but at the same time, it's okay to splurge sometime and not have to make your own. We were craving Vietnamese food for dinner on Labor Day but unfortunately, our usual place was closed so we decided to give this new place a try. We came around 6pm and were the only ones there. Our order consisted of the summer rolls one with pork and the other with shrimp, fried pork spring rolls, special combo banh mi and flank & brisket pho. They even have tacos. They don't offer meatballs and only have 5 pho options, which is quite disappointing. The summer rolls were fresh but didn't have enough pork / shrimp in them. They put too much noodles & veggies and the peanut dipping sauce was diluted. Spring rolls didn't taste like what we are used to, the pork tasted weird and had shitake mushrooms in them, we weren't a fan. The special combo banh mi was good and the baguette was perfectly toasted. However, there was no pate in it (did they forget or ran out?) but a slab of unmelted butter instead. It could've been the "perfect banh mi" with some liver pate w/o the butter. The flank & brisket pho was decent with flavorful beef broth but they used thick noodles rather than the thin ones that I prefer. Service was great and there was plenty of metered parking spaces all around. It is quite pricey for Vietnamese food but the cost is aligned with location and neighborhood. Very customer friendly place. It is my go to place for a quick takeout of Vietnamese beef noodle soup. The manger is very accommodating and remembers what my usual order is. The place is sparkling clean, which makes me feel the food is carefully prepared. Caution, if u r looking for raw beef for the noodke soup, an a layer "beef dripping'" as it is tradionally prepared, u will be disappointed. The pho wasn't the worse I've ever had but definitely not the best either. When we got to Pho Manhasset, the server told us that the kitchen would be closing in 20 mins .. not a problem .. we'd get what we'd normally get at any Vietnamese place .. pho and grilled pork chop over rice. Well, the server didn't get to take our order till 10 mins later. I get it, one server with 4 tables and 2 were leaving. We ordered the flank pho, grilled pork chop rice dish and a Vietnamese coffee. We had to ask for water and utensils after we ordered. The flank pho was tasty, but for $16 I thought there would be more pho. The bowl is very deceiving ... it's twice the size of the contents inside. My husband ordered the grilled pork chop rice dish and Vietnamese coffee ... he said the pork chop was as dry as jerky and he never received the coffee. I tried a piece of pork chop and he wasn't kidding, it was super dry. I felt the dish was put together with whatever grilled pork chop was left over for the day. Whenever we've had grilled pork chop, it's been one piece .. where we cut it apart ourselves .. it's never been cut up already. Anywho, we had enough and asked for the check. The pho was ok ... I definitely tasted a lot of msg. The Vietnamese iced coffee wasn't what I am used to ... perhaps a different brand of coffee was used or the ratios between coffee to ice, water and condensed milk did not suit my preferences? Lastly, the summer roll was strange. There were lots of carrots in it, barely any noodles and herbs were included and it was paired with an off-putting peanut sauce. For a small place in Long Island it's not bad. It's not the most authentic pho I've ever had and it's menu is small but it's not a bad place to go if you are craving a hot bowl of something good. The employees were nice and the service was fast. I saw a lot of take out orders and one group walked in, ordered, and was out in 10 minutes. Our order came out very fast as well. Although our appetizer of spring roll came out after the pho and banh mi. My daughter and I ordered a bowl of flank and brisket pho, duck spring rolls, and a special combo banh mi sandwich (pork roll, pork belly, pate, and butter). First the pho was decent. The bowl was large and there was plenty of meat. The soup was bland and needed the hoisin and hot sauce. The lime and mint helped with the flavor. The sandwich was not on a baguette but a toasty roll. It was still good and a classic tasting banh mi. The duck spring roll was very hot and crispy but lacked duck flavor. Tasty but if it was filled with some other meat I feel like it would have been the same. For delivery they DO package the noodles and meat separately from the broth - if a pho joint is not doing this then don't order from them as it's the only way to prevent the rice noodles from dissolving and souring the broth. Manhasset isn't my idea of a culinary paradise but it was nice to see a pho spot sprout up on Plandome Road. For me, it was just average but at least there's some variety now in this neighborhood. The restaurant is pretty small, has modern decor and a pretty small menu. Choices are basically pho, vermicelli, banh mi, and tacos (weird). The summer rolls were subpar TBH - way too much noodle and not enough shrimp. Pho was better - good broth and meat quality. Overall, food was just so-so and prices are what you expect in Manhasset. If you're local and you can't head out to Queens, this might be a good choice but for me, I'd rather drive a bit further to get something closer to the real thing. read more

I really want to give this a 3.8, as the Banh Mi sandwiches were hard, disheveled, FLAVORFUL but meager slices of meat, that seemed to be left out waiting to be chosen. The Pork was delicious. Reminds you of Jerk Pork without the jerk, Korean bbq-ish too. The Chicken was severely under flavored, not under seasoned, just not marinated enough. It was also dried out and a paltry serving. Both sandwiches were on hard, unfresh hero rolls. The veggies were delicious but sloppy. Overall, it felt as if they could throw anything to their customer with no love or care. They definitely needed the Sriracha sauce that comes with them. Overall, VERY disappointing but a good flavor base to be improved upon if they care. Yes, CARE & LOVE was the sandwiches missing ingredient! Thankfully, that Pho Broth was EVERYTHING and their redemption! Had the Beef Brisket & Flank. Both Pho meats were underseasoned and the broth carried them. Not that you want the reverse but we expected better flavor with good cuts of meat. Be careful of the Hoisin sauce, it has Sriracha added and will surprise those with more delicate palates. Also, request MORE onions and bean sprouts. Hallelujah!! A Vietnamese restaurant on LI that gives normal size pieces of lettuce for spring rolls. The taste is there but there's different room for improvement. The summer roll completely came apart before I could even pick it up so I had to eat it with a fork. It's usually because the rice wrapped was soaked for too long. I really like the pho here. It tastes so good. The soup isn't too strong or heavy and they give you the beef undercooked so it can cook in the hot soup.
