King Wok is as traditional old school as they come. You won't see another generation of this style restaurant. Mostly takeout, they do old school style Chinese classics, but they are decent sized portions tasty, delicious ands affordable. Fast service!

Ok this is about to be a bold statement but they have the best chicken broccoli i've ever had. I've had a lot btw. Their sauce is incredibly balance and more on the salty side rather than sweet which most places do. I kept going and couldn't stop - it was also super hot and i really appreciated that. The rest of the food was really great, i'll be back for more! Sunday to be specific haha.

I came here and got a dinner combo of pork lo mein and pork fried rice. I enjoyed it, and it satisfied my craving for lo mein.

Msg n the breading, heavy sauce made me really sick for two days

Good local take out joint in the shopping plaza across the street from the Stop and Shop supermarket on Northern and Marathon Parkway. From the looks of it, the bulk of their business is take out and delivery. With only a few tables available to sit, most seem to just stop in and take it to go. I tasted the fried chicken and French fries (for my kid) and they were a tad oily but had a good flavor. It was definitely crisp. I also ordered the curry chicken, had a hint of heat from the red pepper flakes but not necessarily from the curry itself. Hubby tried the shrimp with lobster sauce but next time would've preferred white rice instead of the pork fried rice (the sauce would go better with the plain rice). All in all, decent prices and good food but could easily recommend other comparable take out places close by. This one was definitely old school in decor, signage, and menu. Note: cash only!! There are a few signs that echo this so don't bother with your credit card, they do not accept.

The steamed dumpling was very doughy.

I used to go to this place years back. I always thought the food was good, but I stopped going because they didn't accept credit cards, only cash. I decided to give it another try. The good news is that they accept credit cards now. The food this night was disappointing, however; not bad, but not what I remember as having been really good Chinese take-out. The steamed dumplings were doughy - never had ones like these. The boneless ribs were an odd cut, a bit tough, and had little of the fatty grease that makes boneless ribs so so good. The General Tzo's Chicken wasn't what I remembered either. The sauce was dark and not very spicy. Usually the sauce for this dish has a more orangey flavor. The chicken was thickly breaded and a bit tough, as well. Finally, they only included 2-3 small broccoli florets in this dish - I expected more. I think they must have changed recipes or changed the chef from years back (see photos of dishes ordered). So the food wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything to run and tell family and friends about - meh.

Orange beef was Soggy and lacked the orange flavor

While takeout "Chinese food" is never really mind blowing... this place fell even short of okay. Ordered the orange beef and fried cheese wontons in the restaurant to go. Waited about 15 mins for the food. The orange beef was roughly $13 and the wontons were $4.50 for 10pc. The orange beef lacked the orange flavor and it was just drenched in sauce making the beef soggy. The cheese wontons were fine.. but your really can't screw up wrapping cream cheese in wonton skin and deep frying it. All on all won't be back.. there are other Americanized Chinese food places that taste better and are cheaper!

Dumplings were pretty good. A bit disappointed in the General Tso chicken, however would give it another chance. Service was fast.

The ambiance is generally functional and better suited for takeout. While tables and chairs are available to sit and eat, the dining area may not be the most appealing for those seeking a specific "ambiance". What we tried is their Pan fried noodles and egg drop soup. Price is a little bit high for a Pan fried noodles, then later on I found out that it was loaded with crustaceans and shellfish which included crab meat, shrimp, lobster and scallops. Both the noodles and the soup are flavorful, fresh, delicious, not oily and not salty. We have received efficient friendly service. They give generous food portions. Another positive point for this place is their willingness, flexibility and is accommodating to customize orders according to specific request. It is definitely worth ordering again from this Chinese-American restaurant.

Note they way chinese fast food is cooked is heavly oily so it may not be for everyone. There rice has a good flavor and you can't go wrong with any item on the menu. and note lunch menu can be ordered for dinner.

Right opposite from the cafe is Jmart Chinese grocery store which is convenient. Cafe closes 6 pm daily. Self service. No tips needed. Service: wait staff was very friendly. Food time was quick. Owners stopped by the table and started conversation. It was karaoke time when we walked in. Food: - their milk tea was highly recommended to us. So four of us tried the hot and cold milk tea and hot milk tea / coffee combo. All of them were very rich in flavor and smooth, exactly what a milk tea should be. $4.75 for a 12 oz hot milk tea is reasonable. - French toast with peanut butter: Love the syrup that it came with. It has a distinct refreshing flavor with delighted sweetness. Definitely different from other syrup from other places which is just pure sweetness. Owner told us the syrup was imported from England. Highly recommended! - turnip, fish ball, rice roll: 3 in one bowl. Portion is enough to share - scallion chicken: It was recommended to me also. It was indeed very tender and flavorful. $24 for half a chicken with one quart of soup. Conclusion: will definitely return. Even just stopping by to pick up a flavorful milk tea which is cheaper than a sugary bubble tea.
