Ordered some food through uber eats. They served me raw chicken with some nasty bbq pork with rice.. how the hell is this place in business?? Also ordered roasted duck which was nasty as well. Nothing was good.

It's so hard to find Cantonese style outside of Brooklyn Chinatown or Flushing. We decided to try this place since I saw pics of roast duck and chicken hanging from the restaurant's window. I wasn't so much interested in duck but looking for my cantonese faves. The Beef and Tomato over rice immediately jumped out at me. This was my go to for hangovers. The entree size here is so large it feeds 2 easily. I was also delighted that it came with scrambled eggs! I tried roast pork mei fun as well. It was pretty good but slightly dry noodles. We also ordered wonton noodle soup. This was the least favorite because the noodle texture was off almost dry. I was disappointed. Placing the order was super easy over the phone. Overall it was a good meal and option for us, especially only 10mins away. I would try the roast duck or chicken over rice next time.

This is a little gem for take out, hence the little Consistently good food made with good ingredients. Call, place your order and pick up usually within 20 minutes. Very reasonably priced combination dinners and lunches on the menu. Have tried many and no fails so far! The proprietors are very pleasant and will gladly make something that is not on the menu! Has become our go-to take out. The ambience is a quick take out environment, although they have a couple of tables, but one is typically occupied by their two boys, doing their homework.

They give you the carcass too after they've carved it!

A great find in the middle smack dab of a busy area where authentic china town style Chinese food is rare to find. Loved everything that we ordered from here and customer service is top notch. Everything was packaged beautifully so nothing spilled or made the bags get gross and greasy too. Accidently thought they didn't give me a dish I was charged for and when I called them, they were happy to give me another. But turned out that it feel out of the bag the night before and into my back seat so I immediately called them and apologized and promptly gave them my card to make the situation right again. Must order their roast duck, soy sauce chicken, prawns with walnuts and mayo, and whatever leafy green veggie they have that day sauteed in white garlic sauce! Prices vs. portions are great too! Eat local! Support local!

Don't let this place fool you! It looks like a typical Chinese fast food spot. It isn't! Simply put it. It is probably one of the rare finds. You think I'm crazy!? But I'm not! Yes, we have lots of Chinese restaurants all around. Especially in Flushing/Fresh Meadows, but none of them has that Cantonese style that I crave. The beef & Tomato over rice. WHAT A CLASSIC! Majority of other restaurants would just put ketchup, stock, sugar, and make a roux out of that. This place knows the deal with the runny egg! For all the young readers out there. What I'm trying to say it's straight fiyahhh! The Beef Pan fried noodles has that aroma I couldn't quite explain. But it definitely differentiates from other's way of making it. It has that seared meat flavors on the beef and that slight toasted soy sauce flavor that you get mainly on this dish that not many other's can replicate. The BBQ Roast Pork was on point! Honestly some places makes it so dry or just hung for days that it's just tastes horrid. These guys keeps the glaze and the tender of the meat on point. The Roast duck was somewhat of a let down. I'm not sure if there was a difference between the roast duck that we ordered and the ones you normally order with the buns. Make sure to specify which duck you're ordering. Overall, I hope they get to spruce up the place! They definitely deserve an upgrade! I'm glad that it's apart of Queens which means I don't have to trip over to Brooklyn for the beef and tomatoes!

This is a gem hidden amongst several bigger restaurants. This is a little shop with 2 tables and a counter in front that you can dine at but most people order take out. They are noted for their delicious roast items hanging up in a display area. I was not sure what to try so I got the 3 roast items over rice. It had duck, chicken, pork with vegetables! It was a little fatty but yummy! The duck had Crunchy skin and flavorful. The chicken was moist and tender. The place had pictures some of populate items on the wall. There was a list of suggested dishes posted near the register. Seems to be a popular takeout place on a Friday night.

3.75* This was an interesting restaurant experience because the name suggests Americanized Chinese takeout (which they do offer) but they surprisingly also offer authentic Cantonese roast meats like soy sauce chicken, roast pork, and roast duck when the owners are not even Cantonese (imagine my confusion). I have a friend who lives in the area so we've gotten food to-go from here a few times now. Their soy sauce chicken was quite average, on the salty side, unevenly cut, and pieces of bone were found everywhere. Nothing to write home about. In fact, I didn't even bother to take pictures. Luckily their duck lives up to the name - the roast duck, that is. I tried both the roast duck and the Peking duck. It's the cheapest price point I've ever seen Peking duck sold for but if I must be honest, besides the noticeably crispier skin compared to the normal roast duck, it doesn't even taste like Peking duck. The meat of the Peking duck is under-seasoned and dry, and the wraps they give you are literally tortillas, not the traditional thin Peking duck wrap - the Peking duck's crispy skin was really its only saving grace so I'm not likely to get it again. Now onto my favorite thus far: the roast duck was flavorful with no gaminess and was more on the oily side but that helps lock the moisture in the meat so that it remains juicy and tender (I just tap the oil off each piece I grab onto some rice or the sides of the container). The roast pork is decent but a little heavy on the food coloring and not as sweet as it generally should be. There are far better options for that in Flushing. I like that most things on the menu are budget friendly and they have loads of options so even if you're not into Canto cuisine, you're very likely to find something you like at an economical pricepoint. Honorable mentions: Buffalo wings and chicken nuggets (for our picky eaters!)

Moo-over and make room for duck! The Peking Duck is really good here, and as you can see from my pictures, I've tested the Peking Duck for consistency. The duck is definitely better than anything I've had in recent memory. The meat is moist and tender, seasoned well but not salty. Peking Duck is always going to be a bit fatty and the skin might not be as dry or slightly crisp, due to the fact that it's takeout but the essence of dish is present. You will be asked your preference for the wrapper, be it steamed buns or thin crepes, the latter is what I always prefer with my Peking Duck, but I don't always have this option at other establishments. Freshly julienned scallions and long thin sliced cucumber accompany each order along with a sweet and salty sauce. They are currently setup for takeout only, not that they had much room inside to begin with, and no outdoor seating is currently available, so get your duck to go.

So four of us tried the hot and cold milk tea and hot milk tea / coffee combo. All of them were very rich in flavor and smooth, exactly what a milk tea should be. $4.75 for a 12 oz hot milk tea is reasonable. - French toast with peanut butter: Love the syrup that it came with. It has a distinct refreshing flavor with delighted sweetness. Definitely different from other syrup from other places which is just pure sweetness. Owner told us the syrup was imported from England. Highly recommended! - turnip, fish ball, rice roll: 3 in one bowl. Portion is enough to share - scallion chicken: It was recommended to me also. It was indeed very tender and flavorful. $24 for half a chicken with one quart of soup. Conclusion: will definitely return. Even just stopping by to pick up a flavorful milk tea which is cheaper than a sugary bubble tea.

When we asked whether they had clay pot dishes, she twice told us to "look at the menu" with an attitude instead of helping us. The service throughout the meal was poor. Our children's plates were taken away in the beginning and we were not even given enough utensils. Staff members were also talking behind us in Cantonese, which made the experience very uncomfortable. The biggest issue was the bill. The restaurant added a "charge" that appeared to be an included tip or service charge, but nobody informed us about it. Since it was not clearly explained and they still asked for an additional tip, we unknowingly tipped twice. Only after getting home did we realize the total did not add up. They even charged us for take out box. When I returned to ask about it, the manager/owner was extremely rude and unprofessional. Instead of apologizing for the confusion, she questioned us, blamed us, and repeatedly motioned for me to stay quiet. She even wanted to check the camera to verify how much tip we left. At no point did anyone apologize for the misunderstanding or the poor customer service. I also felt that families with children were treated differently and unwelcome there. Customers should carefully review their bills before paying here. Charging an included gratuity without clearly informing customers, while also requesting an additional tip, is misleading and unacceptable. The overall attitude from management was arrogant, disrespectful, and completely lacking in professionalism. Dining out should be an enjoyable experience, but this restaurant completely ruined that for us. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this restaurant for anyone.

Plus, I feel like they're always open even in inclement weather. Other tips: There is a small parking lot in the back, but we usually do street parking as their parking lot is hard to get in/out of! I also have not been here for a while and decided to update my previous review since my experience this time was much better. We came as a group of seven for dim sum today. It was MLK's Day, so the restaurant was quite busy. With that said, I'm not sure why much of the food was served barely warm or room temperature. Thankfully, the taste of many items were quite good. That included the Pork Stuffed Tofu Skin, Salted Egg Lava Buns, Phoenix Claws (chicken feet), and Fried Fish Paste Dumplings. Everything else was fine in general, except the Sesame Balls and Fried Sticky Rice were underwhelming. Honestly, I wouldn't drive this far out to have dim sum when I have plenty of options in Flushing. However, it's nice to know that I have a decent option if I'm in this neck of the woods.
