    We came here for dinner as a group. No issues with the seating as we called ahead for reservation. They serve Shanghainese comfort food, we ordered the soup dumplings, fried dumplings, scallion pancakes and drunken chicken as appetizers. We also ordered fried noodles, beef soup noodles, sauteed string beans to share. love their food. The service wasnt the best as the waiter seemed to be a bit impatient with us. He kept rushing with everything. From the beginning til we left. felt like he wanted us gone asap. Good food but I hope they change the way they serve. It's a sit down restaurant, there's no need to rush!

    Cute little spot! Service is good very welcoming. They are quick with everything. We got the chicken, dumplings, and the scallion pancakes. To drink we got the ice tea and lemonade. Everything was tasty10/10 They do have a parking lot if you go towards the back entrance , which is very convenient.

    I love their fried rice! I always pivot towards their fried rice when I want Chinese fried rice. This for sure hits the spot! This time I ordered pork fried rice, but I do prefer their beef fried rice more. I also grabbed their salted chicken and although I did a delivery, the chicken was still crispy! I never dined in there so I don't know what their service is like. I also never went inside the store only did deliveries so not sure what their space/ambiance looks like. Overall, I think their flavor profiles are on point!

    Came here for lunch and ordered their steamed soup dumplings, beef scallion pancakes, Shanghai pan fried udon and their porkchop over rice. Overall it was okay. Nothing too crazy, maybe except the cost of everything. But, that's everywhere I guess? Quality is good overall. the porkchop rice was a bit lack lustered for the cost of it. Definitely recommend their Shanghai Pan Fried Udon and beef scallion pancakes.

    You can't go wrong with Little Dumpling's soup dumpling. It is what made them famous. I had the good experience of trying at their original location in Douglaston. For tonight's take out, we decided to try this new branch and for a change, we settled for a vegetarian variation. The dry not soupy dumpling but tasted distinctly different. The place has big vegan options on their menu. My son added a Shanghai style marinated gluten , scallion pancake and vegetable lomien. He was happy with his meal, there is no need to go Flushing downtown as he commented. This franchise is a great alternative. On this cold weather, my husband and I craved for noodle soup. I read the local top picks. We fell for it. My husband had the spicy beef and I had the seafood flavors. My seafood broth has standard taste. My husband soup as he said is spicy but that not over powering the beefy flavor of the broth. We both enjoyed our meal. It is a Very comforting kind of meal. Our Cravings was satisfied. We ordered pork buns on the side. It is a quick bite size bun. I found the price tag a bit higher in comparison to other places that offer the same thing. Overall, the food pricing is on a high price scale . The quality of the food is great though. Bottom line, to make it all worth, go for a dining experience. We called in for our order and was told would be ready in 20 minutes. My husband and son said they were not lying. They Picked up the order on the time they promised. At present Covid situation time, they only offer take outs. The review does not include dining service and the restaurant ambiance. We will come back and give an update review. The place is worth to try.

    Tried a few different types of dumplings and had to try so hard to not let my eyes be bigger than my stomach! Everything was delicious. The mango milk tea was so refreshing and the soup dumplings were my favorite.

    Heard this place was known for their xiao long baos and dumplings! We really enjoyed the steamed dumplings and the veggie dishes (eggplant dish and mushroom and bokchoy). I think I would prefer more salt on the mushroom and bokchoy but it was still good! The eggplant was very flavorful! We see this place getting crowded a lot on the weekends but we came for early dinner and didn't have to wait! Overall clean and decorated vibes!

    We're still looking for a "go-to" Chinese spot, and Little Dumpling would definitely be a candidate. We couldn't decide what to get, so we decided to share a lot of different things - always a good way to eat Chinese food. Our favorite dish was the Shanghai wonton in chili oil with peanuts ($8.50). We did eat something similar in Shanghai, and it was a nice trip back there. (Why not add peanut butter to everything?) We also liked our lamb dumplings (6 for $7.50), a little different of an offering than a lot of other dumpling options at other spots. Their beef scallion pancake ($8) is pretty standard, though they do not skimp on the portion - always appreciated. We'd probably skip the sticky rice with pork in lotus leaf ($5.75 for 2). The flavor was good, but it was by far mostly sticky rice. We also got the Twice Cooked pork, which had a nice flavor but seemed a bit heavy on everything other than pork. That being said, there was enough for us to share and have some leftovers.

    Ordered 4 dishes and total came out to over $80. A bit pricey for Chinese take out. 1. Shrimp walnut: only had 7-8 pieces of jumbo shrimp for $20. Very delicious but a bit pricey. 2. Salt pepper squid: I thought it was be closer to calamari but it was bland! So flavorless. Thankfully I ordered take out, so I can add salt and pepper at home. Do not order! 3. General tso chicken: I was hoping for a standard take out dish but the chicken was soggy. The drive to my house is at most 15 mins, but the chicken completely lost its crunch. It was also $16 for the dish. 4. Spicy beef: it was the best dish of the bunch. It had large pieces of tender beef and is perfectly seasoned. Highly recommend

    3/3.5 stars My family and I used to visit the Little Neck location quite often. We would go there every once in awhile back when we lived in Little Neck. We realized at some point they switched chefs since some of the dishes (cold cucumber and jelly fish appetizer) changed. My boyfriend and I were near bayside so we decided to order some take out from this location. Appetizers- Marinated Jellyfish- this was ok. I remember this used to be slightly sweet. I'm used to the radish having that tart, sweet and slightly sour taste, but this was just a tiny bit salty. A tiny bit, otherwise a little bland. I wouldn't get this again Beef tripe in chili sauce- man.. i LOVE this dish, but not from here. (Shanghai You Garden in flushing has the best one so I always compare to theirs). The flavor was a little different than I've had before. I wouldn't get this here again either. Wonton in chili oil and peanut butter sauce- best for last. AMAZING!!! I think this place makes my favorite ones. The sauce is soooo good. It is a little on the sweet side but I absolutely love it. I would get this over and over again Entrees- Fried flounder with sweet n sour sauce- my boyfriend accidentally ordered this. We really wanted the whole fried fish special that they have but weren't clear when ordering. I've had that fish before with my family and loved it. This dish is just mediocre. Not bad. I appreciated that they use fresh pineapple- not the canned ones. Peking porkchop- this was good. I liked the sauce but it's a little different. It kinda tasted like it was BBQ based. It had some sort of smokiness that Peking sauce doesn't normally have. I still enjoyed this though. Pork was good too. Overall, I was a little disappointed, considering this place (little neck location) was a place my family would go to often. It's definitely not horrible but I feel like I've had a better experience in the past. Strong yes to the wontons but pass on most of the others. I'll go back to the little neck location one day and give them another try!

One thing that put me off is that there were small flies keep hovering my food. I spent the whole dinner trying to swat the flies.
