This place is so busy, like unbelievably busy & the parking sucks around here. I called in my order at 10:57 am, she told me to pickup at 11:30, I arrived at 11:30 and she said 2 more minutes. I was going to pay with credit card but she asked if I can pay cash bc there's a cc fee- ok no worries, I'll pay cash. She was literally on the phone taking orders the whole time. I stood there impatiently waiting, along with 9 other customers and finally got my order at 11:44. I got the sesame chicken, chicken with broccoli and chicken wings combo as well as an egg drop soup, bbq spare ribs & extra wings- came out to $46, which isn't too bad. All the food tasted mediocre, definitely had better on Long Island. Really wanted to try the fried wings from here & thought it could replace the place I used to get it from that closed. Unfortunately no, the wings were well seasoned but overfried, ribs were dry & chewy and sesame chicken was soggy. More like bad wok, no thanks :X

Needed a quick dinner and found this place on google. I ordered some chicken wings, general tso chicken, ribs, and beef broccoli with shrimp.I expected this order to take a while but when I arrived 15 mins later, it was actually ready. Usually don't expect it to be 15 mins when they tell me 15 mins on the phone. Because of the pandemic, there's a glass installation on the counter to block any contact between the workers and us. All the workers wore masks while cooking, which was a bit weird since covid can't be passed through food. The food was bomb!!! The chicken wings were piping hot and super crispy. I asked for a lot of hot sauce, which I honestly expect to get 4-5 packets, the lady gave me at least 15. Those Chinese restaurant packet hot sauce and chicken is so perfect together. Highly recommend!! The ribs ares are also very good. It was nice and tender. But the general tso chicken is where it's at. Sooo crispy and perfectly seasoned. Highly recommend. The beef broccoli have very big shrimp and a lot of beef but honestly prefer the dish to have more broccoli. I highly recommend this place!! A bit small interior but definitely a gem

    Nice lunch spot.

Best Wok has become a popular lunch spot for me. Just two blocks from my office, it's easy for that quick Chinese food fix I go through from time to time. Best Wok is a small shop with a couple of tables if you decide to eat in. It pretty much follows the same formula that all the other take-outs on Long Island use. The owner is a delightful person and always greets me (and anyone else that comes through the door with a big smile). Honestly, I have only purchased some very simple thing here, soup, egg-rolls, fried rice, and some chicken dishes. Everything here has always been tasty and fresh. I am particularly fond of hot and sour soup and I think Best Wok does a great job with it. Egg Rolls are good crispy and not greasy. Chicken has always been cooked well, not tough or rubbery. Kudos to Best Wok... I look forward to my next crave.

Good location but bad restaurant. They should improve interior and quality. Food tastes okay but lose appetite when you see the kitchen.

Such a satisfying lunch--this place continues to impress…read more Ken recognized us immediately and welcomed us back--always a thoughtful touch. Service from Ken and Alex was attentive, seamless, and effortless throughout. The hot and sour soup with grilled shrimp was rich, comforting, and perfectly balanced with just the right kick. The half Peking duck--served with delicate pancakes and sauces on the side--was cooked perfectly, boneless, and absolutely delicious. I especially loved the crispy skin--so flavorful and satisfying. The Malaysian-style red curry with seasonal vegetables, roti, and grilled shrimp, served with brown rice, was equally flavorful and well executed. Prices reflect the quality--and it shows. Delicious food, warm service--we'll definitely be back.

Highlights included moonlight dumplings, peking duck and tuna tartar. The tartar came deconstructed in a bowl, you had to mix it and then wrap in seaweed. It was filled fresh ingredients, very unique. The dumplings were excellent, super flavorful fillings with light wrappers. The peking duck presentation was great, very crispy skin, overall top quality. Minor setback was we're seated by the speaker, it got a little noisy. Otherwise it was a great meal.

Good place for drinks and sushi!…read more Came for the lunch prix fixe ($37) and it was pretty worth it for the amount of food you get! Would recommend their spicy tuna roll appetizer (the sushi rolls are the best things here!). I got the braised short rib as my main. It was a tasty first few bites, but became a bit dry once you ran out of sauce (especially since it's a lean cut). The peanut noodles that it came with were alright. Ended with the banana wonton dessert! It only comes with 1 wonton, but the best part is the lychee sorbet and banana cream it comes with. Very yummy (and a small dessert but good enough to end the meal!) Overall, stick to the sushi! Get their drinks! Had the coconut and lychee cocktail which was super yummy. Service was amazing (constantly changing plates, cleaning up our table between courses, friendly). Would recommend a reservation especially if you come at night as it gets crowded.

The food was very delicious and flavorful, and the overall presentation was perfect. Each meal looked like works of art ready for consumption. We thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered. However, we thought the place was very crowded. It was clear that they placed as many tables as they could without trying to take away from the aesthetics. It was also so loud that you couldn't really hear yourself talk. My other problem was that though the staff was very kind and attentive, it did feel as if they were rushing us out, in order to sit another party, which was very frustrating because it felt like you couldn't really enjoy the food. It was our first night out in awhile and the experience felt rushed and underwhelming, unfortunately, despite the food being so good. I recommend going before or after peak hours to avoid some of the chaos.
