Here's what I was told by the driver - the order had been mistakenly picked up by another driver and he had to wait. When I called the restaurant to try and get the truth the gentleman answered the phone was evasive on what happened and when I questioned him further he got defensive and said that he wasn't there when "it happened" I still don't know what happened - did the wrong driver take the food and it had to be remade by restaurant and wait for another driver. OR was the food returned by the first driver to the restaurant and the second driver took the bag and delivered it to me, in which case I had multiple hands on my bag.
